Dick's Towing

Dick's Towing

Hi, I was towed by Dick's and the driver's name is 'Jerimiah'! He is fantastic driver! I am a 81…read moreyear old guy and I live in a seclude place down a 1/4 mile gravel road almost like 'off the grid'. When we started this journey, I was thankful that Jerimiah agreed to deliver my vehicle at least to the end of the 'flat part' of my gravel road which is before it started down a steep hill with a twist and sudden uphill turn at the bottom. But, when Jerimiah saw the tricky part, he said "no problem" and continued on! Wow I was 'really' feeling thankful that my vehicle was at least going to be near the 5th wheel trailer I live in! But then, get this!, when we was at least near my trailer more less in my yard, Jerimiah could tell that I was trying to figure out if I had a better spot closer to my 5th wheel trailer, but really 'i' was not wanting to 'ask' Jerimiah to spot it even closer to my trailer because of all the obstructions. Then he just popped up and said, "are you sure you don't want it closer to your trailer, because he said, "i can turn around and back in and place it where you 'normally park'! This meant he had to turn around in the narrow gravel road and miss all my other vehicles and big steel shipping containers and trees!! Well, I said, "if you can do 'that' then I will close my eyes and say 'yes', and that I would be 'so Grateful'! Jerimiah said, "no problem!" Dang!, he turned that big truck around so fast I could not believe it and then he backed it into 'absolutely' into the perfect position where I always park and thus where I will have good access for working on it!! I said to myself, "thank you Jesus" and I tried to give him a tip! Jerimiah being 'upstanding' young man would not accept my tip and just said to "call Dick's again If need a tow in the future!" I shook his hand with both of my hands, and I watch his truck drive away until he was out of site because I was so appreciative. By the way Jerimiah was so 'upbeat' and 'jovial', and we found common ground for good conversation as he drove to my place. What a great experience it was at midnight in the rain and cold, considering the fact that I broke down on the freeway and 'did' have to call for a tow! Dicks service is the 'best'!!, but I knew that 'firsthand' from the past! THANK YOU, JERIMIAH! GO DICK'S TOWING!!! Sidney Treherne, Arlington, Wa.

Although I realize it's commonly a hassle to get your car out of an impound, these guys are on a whole different level ... WORST customer service I have ever received anywhere. The driver SEAN was incredibly rude and unhelpful and in fact, I'm quite confident is also a complete crook. I could go on and on about all the things that were wrong, but I will provide a few ... 1. When we called to see how much the "storage fee" was per day, we were quoted HALF of what they actually charged us when we got there. Well, that's convenient isn't it? 2. The day we went to pick up the car, I called to see what our balance was so we would be prepared. Sean answered while driving and told me he couldn't give me a quote because he wasn't in the office. When I asked if I could speak with someone in the office, the answer was simply "no" and he hung up. 3. When we finally got there 40 min before the office closed, we informed them that if the AAA driver wasn't there before they closed that we would be pushing our car out of their lot ... to which we were told we wouldn't be able to because our battery was stolen and wouldn't be able to put the car in neutral. Wrong! AAA guy got there and had no problem doing so (neither did we when we needed to push the car out of our driveway the next day). Could it be that they wanted our car stuck in their lot so they could charge us for another day ($45)??? Hmmmm ... As I said, there are plenty of other things I could point out, but the important thing is that we left there feeling completely disrespected and taken advantage of. It was that icky feeling when you just know you've been swindled. I'd hate for anyone else to have to go through what we did. Especially after someone had stolen our car and ripped the battery out! We didn't have a choice in the matter, but if you are looking for a reliable, friendly, fair towing company, SNO ISLE Towing is not it.

Manager Jeff told me they don't normally work on motor homes, but that he would have one of his mechanics see if they could help me. A sharp young man, Niko, quickly fixed me up. I was very impressed with his professional and positive attitude! So, with no prior appointment, Advanced Automotive took care of my vehicle, and at a very reasonable cost. Advanced Automotive has my highest recommendation!

I put my truck in to have the windshield wipers fixed which I assumed was the motor. It took them 3…read moredays to diagnose it and that was after telling me a specific date to come in. When I went to pick up the truck because it took so long they gave me an estimate of $800 to fix the windshield wipers motor and linkage. To fix the motor they estimated 500 plus and that was after they took off the $186 they charge me to diagnose the issue. I took it in to get the windshield wipers fixed. When I went to pick it up they charged me $186 to diagnose not only the windshield wiper issue but they chose on their own to also check my brakes and something else. I did not give them permission or request to have them do this. I would not have objected to maybe $100 even though my friend diagnosed it was the windshield wiper motor simply by turning on the ignition and he heard no clicking or something like that which meant there was no power going to the box. They said they checked the wiring and the fuse even taking that into consideration I don't see where it would cost $186 for that amount of time. My main complaint is they went beyond what I asked them to do they did not quote how much it would cost to diagnose this and I've heard this from other people that they go in to have something done and they charge for diagnosing things that weren't asked for. So basically I would just warn people if you're going to take your car or truck in you should ask them what it would cost to diagnose it. In addition I had had my brakes just fixed the month before so there was no reason to diagnose it. It cost me $800 to have my brakes done they quoted me 1800. This was just for the rear brakes.
