So I can get every week. So can everyone else. I give you encouraged permission. I was brought to this ice cream Mecca by friends who discovered it after moving to the area. It's mildly deceiving as it's located in a gas station parking lot.... but a fabulous find!!! I was initially told that they had unique flavor offerings, but that is a tasty understatement. In my current third of five days in Saginaw Twp., I've tried the Chocolate Peanut Butter and completely devourer their Tri-Carmel and Copper Country... the Tri-Carmel an obvious medley of carmel ice cream, carmel ribbons and chocolate covered carmels, and the Copper Country a delicious mix of HOMEMADE brownies and carmel in vanilla ice cream. Additional offerings include Troll Mint (chocolate with Andes mints), Peanut Butter Banana (self-explanatory), and Dog Puke ("colored cookie dough in a colorful base") .... and a barrage of flavors including ingredients like coffee, dark chocolate flakes, toasted coconut, and other awesomeness. The gentleman working there said he would make me a fresh batch anyway, despite there being some ready to go. He fried the mini doughnut and I requested them be topped with cinnamon-sugar. I sat outside and took a bite of these doughnut and I had one of those moments where I realized that every doughnut I have eaten in a grocery store or at Dunkin' Donuts has been a dry, stale, sham. (Folks who can't walk well can go though the front). Coming from the back will have you be in the correct line route. They also have small water cup machines. A cone rolled in nuts is my favorite - but their nuts weren't just peanuts, but cashews, almonds, pecans and peanuts! They are very reasonably prices, and easy to get to by a short jump off the freeway and jump back on. The parking lot is small, so if you are pulling an HUGE RV, park next door or across the street.
