the tart froyo is great! recommend getting it and pairing with the basic churros. light, not too greasy and not too sweet. churros takes about 5 minutes to make fresh and hot!

Strawberry Ice Cream with mango topping

The workers are incredibly welcoming people. The service was fast I waited about 5 minutes for my strawberry ice cream with mango topping. They go above and beyond to make the order look presentable (adding a strawberry cut like a rose). The menu shows pictures of everything they offer making ordering super easy and simple. Overall great experience!

Cute little spot in the heart of Downtown! The weekend we visited was also Oktoberfest in the Courthouse Square so it was great to eat some hot churros while enjoying the music. The owner and everyone working there were so courteous and the churros were hot, crunchy and delicious. Will definitely come back for them when I'm in the area next time.

Churro and froyo

Came from zareens the sweetest service and most delicious food. They also have lots of options which is really nice a must try snack spot in RWC!

Pomegranate & Raspberry Fusion With French Vanilla Frozen Yogurt. Toppings: Fruits and Mango Boba.

This is my first but definitely not my last time coming here to Froyola. Although it is located in a small building and there isn't much variety (only four flavors), the choices they have are delightful. My choice of froyo was pomegranate fused with raspberry and French vanilla. I technically hate any type of sorbet, but fusion of two fruits did not upset my tastebuds. It was very fruity and the awesome part is that it's all probiotic. The assortment of toppings varies just like any other froyo place. They all seemed fresh. The lady who works there is also a delight. She was very friendly and adds to the atmosphere of this froyo spot. Right across from this shop is a boba place called Chatime. It is a one stop shop for any person looking for good froyo and boba drink. They have plenty of chairs and tables to dine or chill for a quick bite to eat. It's also a great location (diagonal from the movie theater and other food spots). This downtown area isn't crowded as much as other downtown areas. It is family, friend and pet friendly. I'm so happy I found this little hidden gem.

I'm happy there's now a fro-yo place in downtown Redwood City. It's about time! Small selection: 4 flavors; I tried the original tart and it was so-so; Not very creamy (Fro-yo girl hit it on the head - it tasted like ice milk). But they have plenty of toppings to choose from, and the fruit was fresh and of high quality. On an after-dinner visit with the family I sampled the chocolate fro-yo, which was dark and decadent. Extra points for giving my daughters some complimentary fruit toppings. (Those little pleading eyes are hard to resist; I know from experience.) Such a great location, and the owners are super nice. I wish them luck! 3.5 stars.

Great froyo!

The shop is very low key and charming, which adds to the appeal, the location is a little tucked away, but it's tucked away in a very central location. I just had froyo there tonight and the couple behind the counter was EXTREMELY nice, and really took the time to explain their offerings. The fruit toppings are organic, which is a nice plus. The atmosphere was very quaint and lovely, I had the pom and blueberry froyo with strawberries and it was absolutely delightful. The next time I am in downtown Redwood city I will most certainly stop by to get froyo. The couple that run the place is delightful and the froyo is excellent, much better than Pinkberry.

The monthly special flavors are always exciting and give you a good reason to come back regularly. Personal favorites include the Coffee and Love Nuts flavor and the Nuts and Chocolate Gooey Brownie, both rich and very satisfying. Another highlight is the freshly baked waffle cones and waffle cups, which add great texture and aroma to the overall experience. The staff are consistently courteous and welcoming, and they are happy to offer samples, so do not hesitate to try a few flavors before deciding. Portion sizes can be quite generous, and at times the regular scoop feels too big, so opting for a kids scoop can be a good choice.

The line moved quickly, with just a few groups ahead of us. Pricing falls in line with standard Bay Area dessert spots: $7 for a small, $8 for a medium, and $9.50 for a large as of 2025. Service was fast and friendly. While there's no indoor seating, there's a spacious patio area with plenty of tables and chairs outside. I'll definitely be coming back soon to try more of their flavors -- the Chunky Fudge Brownie and Caramel Fudge Vanilla both caught my eye.
