OMG this ice cream spot was AMAZING! Such a cute location, especially being so close to the amusement park--perfect stop for a treat. I loved that we were able to try a bunch of different flavors, and it was awesome that everything was clearly labeled gluten-free and dairy-free friendly. We ended up getting a full sundae with four different flavors, whipped cream, and a cherry on top--so fun! The flavors were all so good, but the watermelon sorbet was definitely my favorite. We also tried rainbow sorbet, cotton candy, and strawberry cheesecake--everything was delicious. Plus, they had the cutest mural inside which made the whole experience even better. Perfect dessert for the beach--seriously SO good. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

My boyfriend got the salchipulpos, these are fried fries with fried wiener, ketchup, mustard, sour cream and aïoli sauce. They were really good and did not taste frozen, the only thing I would do next is ask for less sauce.
Came across this place and I would definitely recommend it! There were so many options to choose from that it was hard to decide. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we enjoyed every bite. The quality and flavors did not disappoint. There are still so many items on the menu that I want to try, so I'll definitely be coming back. If you're in the area and looking for something tasty, this place is worth a visit!
I've been looking for a spot where I could buy latin craving foods. This is the spot. I asked for an esquite with hot cheetos on top, they delivered with a good amount of serving. I also asked for a mangonada and that was very good. The creamy ice cream blend they had was so good and it lasted a good while before it started to melt. It was so smooth. The right amount of sweet and sour. They didn't just cover the top of the esquite with hot cheetos, they also put it in the middle and bottom with mayo. Overall great place to come and they were very quick, a good amount of options too.
I stopped by on a weekday evening for a quick dessert. There were some really interesting flavors of mexican ice cream. Gansito, rice pudding and mazapan were my flavors. Gansito was my favorite flavor. I also went for a Tejuino. It was a combination of many drinks including tamarind. It was an acquired taste. I felt it was just ok. Prices were slightly higher than what I was expecting.
Came back to Livin Sweet in Belmont and I'm happy to say it's still just as good as I remembered, if not better. This time I went with the double scoop, getting the rice pudding ice cream and Mexican candy flavor. The rice pudding scoop was rich, creamy, and comforting, with that nostalgic cinnamon flavor that really hits. The Mexican candy ice cream was the perfect contrast--sweet, slightly spicy, and packed with bold flavor without being overpowering. Together, the combo worked surprisingly well. Portion sizes were generous, the ice cream was smooth and well balanced, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the flavors and the overall experience. Glad I came back. This spot continues to deliver. Definitely will be revisiting again to try more flavors.

I got the gansito scoop of ice cream and arroz con leche flavor, YUM. i have been looking for gansito flavor for a long time because not all nieverias make them good, but this is exactly what i was looking for! they also offer different snacks and even tacos de papa. my coworkers enjoyed their ice cream as well. We enjoyed the cute seating area!

This place is delicious! The Fresada and Mangonada is a must try! I also recommend their uchepos (corn tamales). You can tell the owner is passionate about this place he's usually always there with a great attitude. They have a huge menu to try from a hidden gem for sure!

They were also on the sweeter side. Overall, I enjoyed it but their price is on the steeper side ($8.50 for 2 small scoops).

Livin Sweet is my favorite discovery this year! I love their flavors -- esp all the drinks with fresh fruit/produce and spices. I'm a sweet tooth but my middle-aged gut needs to avoid excess sugars/flour and dairy so their menu options are perfect. So far, my picky gut has been very happy with Mangonada, Green Smoothie, and Michelagua. Some people need bubble tea regularly, I need their Michelagua whenever I'm passing Belmont!! The staff are very friendly and patient as I'm still learning the menu and want to try everything. I walk out looking like I have a family to feed, meanwhile I'm solo tasting my way through the menu The decor is cute and the store always looks neat. Street parking in this area is always a crap shoot (not their fault), but there is a public parking lot across the street (on the corner of 6th & Emmett). I'm a fan and will be coming here like I have a gym membership. See you there! read more

Was in Belmont for dinner and we craved something sweet, we looked on yelp and spotted this spot. Plenty of parking available around the area. Cute ice cream shop in Belmont. When we walked in, we were greeted right away. Customer service is great, you can sample the ice creams. Different flavors than other ice cream shops, but BETTER. They had rice pudding, queso, eggnog, strawberry to name a few. The hubby decided to have the queso ice cream in a cup and I had the creminieve, it was fresh strawberries with 2 scoops of ice cream (you can choose what flavor ice cream, but I think it's best with the strawberry ice cream) and topped with cream, it was DELICIOUS I finished the whole thing! They also had dessert waffles available. Cute ice cream shop, friendly service, and delicious desserts. Definitely a must when you're in the area! read more

The perfect place to go if you want to cool down on a hot day. David helped us at the counter he was full of energy ready to serve us, he's also bilingual(English and Spanish). We were looking for a good milkshake place, and we found it. We ordered a chocolate milkshake and ferrero milkshake. Both were amazing. I had sampled the mango ice cream, and it was good. I definitely want to come back and try the esquite and the creminieve. They had so many items that I wanted to try. For this trip, it hit the spot for my milkshake fix. This is an adorable dessert spot offering smoothies, ice cream, fruit, shaved ice, crepes, and other snacks, in a cozy setting with hot pink lounge seating inside. My friend and I got the creminieve (fresh strawberries & cream, with bright pink strawberry ice cream) and a choco-banana. The sweet cream (condensed milk) in the creminieve wasn't very sweet, which can be good or bad depending on your preference, but that strawberry overload was amazing! And the fresh fruit with our desserts were absolutely delicious, and made us feel a little less guilty about the ice cream and chocolate that came along with it. The customer service was outstanding, the workers super friendly, eager to help, and just making us feel welcome from the moment we stepped inside. The guy taking our order seemed happy to serve us and had a contagious smile, which is exactly the vibe you get here. And even though we stayed till closing time on a Saturday, we weren't rushed or kicked out. I highly recommend this spot for a wide range of sweet treats to put you in a good mood. I am definitely coming back to try their smoothies and shaved ice. read more

This a local gem that my wife found on yelp. Saw the 5 star reviews and had to give it a try. They have been open for 1 year. Ambiance 5/5 Nice little spot. As you enter, there is a cool photo op on the left side. Service 5/5 The owner (sorry I forgot to ask your name) was very friendly. Greeted us with a smile and welcomed us into the shop. Food 5/5 We ordered the Michelagua (Mango Agua Fresca). The flavors change depending on the day. Perfect mixture of tajin and chamoy with plenty of small cut fruit. We also ordered Elote in a cup. This is a hidden gem for Mexican desserts and snacks in Belmont! I can't believe we just discovered this place last week after living in the area for so long. There's a super cute photo wall when you walk in with a few seats in front of it. There's only one small table for 4 people so don't count on being able to eat inside! The workers were super friendly, patient and helpful. We ordered the tostielote plate and bionico. I haven't had either before and both were delicious. I love savory snacks and elote so I really enjoyed the tostielote. The bionico was light and refreshing, and the fruit was super fresh. I will definitely be back and can't wait to try their other offerings. So glad we finally stopped by to get some refreshing treats on a warm day. I couldn't make up my mind so they were so kind in suggesting a half fresada (strawberries, strawberry sorbet, chamoy and tajin) and half mangonada (mangos and mango sorbet, chamoy and tajin) for me. And it was so delicious. The sorbets were full of flavor and the fruit was super fresh. All complimented by the tangy brightness of chamoy and tajin. My SO had the banana split with his choice of strawberry, ferraro rocher and chongos ice cream flavors. The chongos flavor ice cream is so unique, like a scalded milk / caramel with cinnamon. Very rich and tasty. They have so many tasty goodies on the menu from fresh fruit to agua frescas to smoothies to various ice cream and fruit combinations plus savory items like dorilocos, tamales, elote and more. I'm for sure coming back for the creminieve (strawberries and cream with ice cream) and more. read more
