First time here and I really like It. I tried the pepinos locos, they were bomb! The nances preparados are so good if you like nances. I also got the biónico. I didn't know what to get because everything looked so good and I'm pregnant but overall it was delicious.

Wow, I haven't written a review since 2016! Girl wyd. As 2019 comes to a close, I've decided to get back in the game. These businesses deserve the recognition, it's the least I can do! Guanatos Snacks is a lovely local family business on Woodside road wedged between Ohana Express to the left and another local business and gas station to the right. You can park out on the street or on the mini shared lot in between. They specialize in amazing SNACKS- traditional delicious Mexican street favorites like Mexican ice cream with specialty flavors you can't find outside of Spanish stores/areas (like horchata, strawberries and cream, etc), elotes (corn on the cob or cup), raspados (basically a shaved ice treat with fruit, syrup, etc) - so many flavors and different kinds of other drinks like mangonada, etc! Fresh cut fruits of your choice, duro preparado (puffy chip thing with assorted savory toppings), chips, and many more. I basically grew up around these snacks and I was so happy to see this place open up near me. Hunting down the ever moving snacks guy on wheels is kinda hard. I have a local snack stand guy but he's all the way in Mountain View and the other ones in RWC are kinda out of the way so no bueno. There are two tables in the shop and a bench outside to enjoy your snacks or take it to go. Snack party at home amirite? They accept cash or card payments and have an assortment of canned drinks and other prepackaged candy/snacks besides the prepared ones. I go there mainly for my mango fix (slather that b with lime and tajin), sometimes another fruit if I'm feeling extra; elotes bc duh, I've tried their duritos (potato chips with lime), raspado- really enjoy their soursop one because it's so light and refreshing! Haven't tried the others yet. Sometimes the duro preparado when I want something more filling but still light. Clearly I love this place lol. The family that runs it are friendly and polite, and yes there's a bit of a wait sometimes especially if they have a line going but it's to be expected. The anticipation for treats is worth it. BUT I think you can call in your order if you're in a hurry (tip). Prices are affordable, $4 and up and the serving is nice and generous, the area is clean and bright, the menu simple and classic with photos. Please don't litter and clean up after yourselves guys. Enjoy :)

This is my first time here at Guanatos Snacks and had a great experience. The duro preparado was just delicious! It was made with fresh and top quality ingredients. The shop itself looks very clean and organized. It looks like it run by family members and service was excellent. We will definitely be coming back. We need to try all those Mexican ice cream !

This little snack shop is amazing. The people who work here are incredibly kind, very efficient and friendly. I went for the first time and got fresas con crema. It was amazing. This is a very welcoming place for everyone, and I really appreciate that. They have so many different snack options, there's something for everyone.

The host was very friendly and explained that once we were ready to order, we could head to the register in the back. After placing our order for a group of four, our drinks arrived within just a few minutes. They looked exactly like the menu descriptions and tasted just as good. The food was fresh, hot, and clearly made with quality ingredients. We all especially loved the tomato soup. We also ordered a waffle to share as an appetizer, and it came topped with large, beautiful strawberries that tasted amazing. The portion size was generous. I ordered the Fresh Mozzarella sandwich on ciabatta bread and asked for it toasted, and it was phenomenal. I did not have very high expectations since this was a quick, last minute choice and we did not even check reviews beforehand, but I am so glad we gave it a try. The inside of the restaurant has a cute and colorful vibe, and everything felt clean and well kept. I will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu

My first time here but my girlfriend who was visiting from Texas has eaten here recently while flying through to see her brother. This place very close to SFO airport so a great place to have breakfast Brunch or Lunch before picking up or dropping off at SFO as only 12 to 15 min based on traffic. THE FOOD: Cortado 10/10, Ice Tea 9/10 Flat White 8/10 (from Australian in our foursome) Hot Chocolate 9/10 Mixed salad Amazing. Soft boiled eggs perfectly cooked and balsamic on point. They have great sourdough served with delicious jam. We also had the prosciutto fig and goat cheese which was 10/10 and our friend from Texas enjoyed her GF Sammie. Husband had the Tuna Melt which he said 9/10 only because of the bread, he said 10 if he's had it on the acme sourdough ;-) Next time... The Place: Great location with lots of parking but not this past Sunday as huge event in town but in general loads of street and lot parking near by. Quaint seating inside and outside seating on both sides of this corner location. You order inside and seating is first come first serve so I imagine depending on the time of day it could be hard for any groups over 4 Employee Interaction: Super until the last person we interacted with. You order inside and they bring stuff out as made which is just the nature of busy brunch place. For example we had food come out in staggered spurts which is what you expect so as a example our friend who ordered first (10 min before us ) got her fig Sammie first but we got half our drinks first. Our food was staggered over a 15 min period also very expected at this type of brunch place. The problem came when the lady would brought the last food item the GF item and she said hey are we missing anything and I said yes my cortado and friend who ordered 10 min before we did so half and hour ago said she never got her hot coco. She was Super polite and brought them pretty quickly . We said thanks for finding them for us and she lectured us on how busy they are etc etc and were like WHOA THERE we did not complain although my friend could have as he drink came after she had eaten and 30 min after she ordered and yet we never complained. My complaint is with this staff members attitude, and I "assume" it came from dealing with folks expecting the food or drinks to all come out at same time and thats not how these types of places work. WE GET THAT and again it would have been a 5 had we not been lectured after thanking her for hunting down our drinks ;-) Will I be back SURE the food was great

A quick snack date with the wifey and we opted to grab a quick drink and snack. Mochi waffle (black sesame), and two drinks (Dalgona Coffee for the misses and Lychee Mojito for me). The waffle was outrageously good. Very crispy on the outside but very soft and chewy (mochi like) on the inside. I've had mochi donuts and waffles before and I've never had it quite like this. This was straight impressive. Wifey and I scarfed down the waffles. Must get, but also probably only really good when they're freshly made. As for the drinks, the Lychee Mojito was good. The tart was very refreshing and surprisingly strong. A bit sweeter than I'd like (I did opt for 25% sweetness). The Dalgona Coffee was good, wifey enjoyed it, but I felt like the coffee flavor wasn't strong enough. Overall, awesome place for some spectacular waffles. The drinks are worth a try as well. No seating inside or outside. Waffles will take 10-15 minutes (maybe longer if it's busy). So, be prepared to wait without sitting down. Small private lot.

Parking: Underground garage, stairs or lift (elevator) up one floor to the Cafe Barrone and Keplers Book Store. We were lucky as I was able to find a table outside. Indoor seating is available and that is also where you place your order. When you pay, you are given a number to place on your table. Order regular coffee here and hot chocolate, or special coffees at another counter. They forgot to give the Duchess the regular coffee, but noticed the mistake at the special counter and brought the coffee to the Duchess while she was picking up her hot chocolate. The dish was was plentiful, smelling and tasting deliciously fresh. Large dollop of cream cheese was much appreciated. Bagel was nicely toasted and there was no hole for ingredients to fall through. Loved that! ORGANIC BEET SALAD $15.00 Roasted organic beets, grapefruit, pickled fennel, avocado, goat cheese, & house balsamic vinaigrette. Title should have said ORGASMIC, because the Duchess proclaimed it to be the very best salad she has ever been served in her realm (wink!) CUSTARD sorry no price, my bad. Drinks: Regular Coffee Taylor Maid Farms Drip $4.75 was nothing to write home about. Would not order it again. It looked like coffee, but no taste on the tongue Hot Chocolate $5.00 Duchess made a rookie mistake and tried to sip it before sucking off some of the whip cream, the chocolate milk flowing lovingly down her white flowery dress. Being the "quite proper" Brit, there was no audible curse. Still, she found it very tasty, with a strong chocolate flavor, which left her wishing she had ordered the large cup. Trendy, bustling, loud crowd. Casual dress is the order. Noise level is not so much as to be painful. If your wearing hearing aids, you may enjoy removing one. Sadly, all the staff were walking around with seriously sullen faces. Our server delivered our order with word unspoken, expressionless.
