Of all the vendors involved in restoring our home after a house fire--painters, electricians, carpet and closet professionals, art restoration, HVAC, and the overall remediation company, ServiceMaster--FRSTeam was the only company that was difficult to work with. ServiceMaster subcontracted FRSTeam to handle our smoke-damaged clothing, textiles, and electronics. I would never have hired them independently. From start to finish, it was issue after issue. Communication was very poor. They repeatedly promised to complete tasks or follow up, only to fail to do so, even after multiple direct requests. I was forced to make the 3-hour round trip drive to their office twice to address basic matters. While they boxed and returned our items neatly, the actual cleaning was ineffective. Everything returned to us caused immediate physical reactions--sneezing, chest pain, and throat pain from the lingering smoke damage or chemical residue. To make matters worse, unlike our other restoration vendors who properly identified unrecoverable items, FRSTeam failed to declare anything as non-salvageable to our insurance company. When I asked them for a comprehensive list of items so I could submit them to insurance myself, it look a very long time for them to respond, and I had to ask multiple times. All of the other companies we worked with would have taken at most 1 business day to send something like this. Trying to get insurance approval to replace the items has been an absolute ordeal. From the insurance company's perspective, they paid $26,000 for professional cleaning, yet the items are completely unusable. read more

I would not recommend using this company. If I had known my contractor, Valley Services, was going to use FRST Team, I would have refused. This has been one of the most frustrating and drawn-out experiences I've ever dealt with. I filed a claim for smoke damage, and while Valley Services handled the restoration of my home chemically cleaning, repainting, cleaning air vents, and even redoing my entire kitchen with new cabinets and countertops--their total cost was still less than what FRST Team charged just to handle textiles. FRST Team billed nearly $50,000 for packing, cleaning, and storing belongings. At that point, it honestly would have been cheaper to replace everything. To make matters worse, some of my items were returned damaged. The billing process has been just as painful. FRST Team and my insurance agreed on $31,000 on the services. Due to delays with my insurance adjuster, only $26,000 was paid upfront. Once the remaining funds were finally issued, FRST Team increased their invoice to $39,000, claiming the original agreement didn't stand because my insurance didn't pay in a timely manner. On top of that, their president contacted me amid the back and forth with insurance and said I owed over $40,000. At this point I had already paid almost $26,000 and the invoice at the time was for $31,000. That level of disorganization and lack of awareness is concerning, especially when dealing with clients and large invoices. I've been dealing with this for over 7 months. Each time I call, I'm told someone will follow up and no one ever does. Meanwhile, my insurance has now dropped my coverage due to the claim complications. Between the excessive pricing, damaged items, poor communication, and billing issues, this has been an incredibly stressful experience. If you want to avoid unnecessary headaches, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. read more

I don't usually write reviews, but this experience deserves one. I recently had a small smoke claim through my insurance company. At first, I tried to just deal with it, but after staying in the home for a bit, my headaches kept getting worse. Once the insurance moved us into a rental, FRSTeam came in and packed everything out -- clothing, furniture, electronics, all of it. They even rushed my emergency clothing back within a couple of days, along with my son's Nintendo Switch (his top priority). The claim had its ups and downs, but I genuinely appreciate how patient and helpful the team was throughout the process, especially Gabe, Bonnie and Laurie. Their support made a stressful situation much easier to navigate. Everyone from their office to the field staff was incredibly easy to work with. They made sure we were 100% satisfied with everything before closing out our file, and that level of care really stood out. What a rip off!! After loosing my home to a fire I welcomed the help to get some of my clothing back. We didn't send a whole lot to be cleaned and returned to us but their crew grabbed everything they could find and charged us for stuff that we didn't want back. Our bill was over $4000 to clean $1000 worth of clothing. Unbelievable! Not only that, my clothes are faded, beat up, and some still stink like smoke. If you've ever lived through a fire, you NEVER want to smell that again. Screw this company, their help was bull poop! Update: I've contacted them AGAIN and they offered to "mate it right" buy picking up our clothes and still be out of the $4000 we paid. F them! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! I had a loss through insurance and thought I would be placed with a good company. They packed our electronics and appliances. Make sure you document yourself and take pictures of everything. And even videos that they are in working order if you decide to use them because they'll use it against you. 3 months go by with our appliances in pods at our home and they came to put everything back in our home and opened up our refrigerator and it was covered in mold on the inside. Apparently this is a common thing with companies who don't take precautions to make sure this doesn't happen. They then took my refrigerator from our house and took it to their warehouse or whatever to clean and sanitize. Took a whole weekend. Came to put it back and seemed normal. 2 days go by and it's not cooling down, and anytime I tried to use the water dispenser WATER WOULD START LEAKING from the bottom of my fridge that was only bought 2 years ago AND In working order before they even came and took my fridge to begin with. Took about a week for them to even try and figure out that they need to have someone come and look at the fridge and then another to have it actually happen. Turns out the condenser broke. They tell me they'll reimburse me. Turns out they have to talk to someone else in the company to get it done and then another 5-6 days goes by WITHOUT A working refrigerator and now they say they have to go through my insurance to claim it and WONT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AT ALL. After reading all these other reviews it makes sense why so many people are unhappy but this company definitely doesn't care about you, your items and will try and weasel their way out of making things right. read more

They have good service, they pick up and deliver for free, I got all my suits cleaned and pressed they look like new. They are a bit pricy, I had a groupon that they didn't honor it, so they applied it later and just gave me instore credit. I requested a refund check instead, but they are unwilling to do it. Butler's drycleaning service never disappoints, and in fact, after using this service for many months I can honestly say that I am always amazed by how great items come back, even vintage items that I wouldn't even consider letting another dry cleaner touch. I did use a Groupon for my first service to have some down comforters cleaned. They not only honored it, but they also give me a significant discount going forward. I even had them clean my car mats! They are amazing, and the pick up and drop off service is a lifesaver. Butler's has my business for life. read more

Our phone dealings with this company were with rude people who spoke in a hostile and dictatorial manner to us. Their work was not good. After a pipe break in mid-November, 2016, the clean up and rebuild contractor took an area rug from one of the room affected, and brought it to FRSTeam. We were not told their name or contact since the contractor included their services in their invoice to us. Apparently the contractor never claimed the rug to return it, even though we paid them in full. But rather than contact us, FRSTeam waited until March, 2017 to contact us and demanded payment again plus storage fees for the five months that no one contacted us. The work was shoddy when we finally got our rug back. read more
