Took in a king duvet cover and shams to be laundered. Called first to verify this could be done and price. Dropped off on a Wednesday and told would be ready on Saturday. Went in on Monday and was not ready. Told it would be ready later in the day. Called later and told agin not ready. Tuesday was the new date. Went in to pick up and items not ironed. Informed they don't have the necessary equipment. I feel this should have been explained to me either when I first called in or when I dropped off. I shouldn't have to ask of ironing was an issue. Took a week and a half to get a comforter back. Nobody called me. I had to call to see if it was ready. Upon pick up, Rosemary was beyond RUDE. Absolutely should not be in a customer service position. Put her in the back if she's going to be an utter jerk to people. I told her I didn't have a ticket (I was not given one when I prepaid for my service). She asked for my phone number so I gave it to her. She was fumbling around like she has one functioning brain cell, despite me telling her I saw the item sitting on the floor (less that one foot from her). Still fumbled around and then said, "WELL YOU DIDNT SAY IT WASNT DRY CLEANING". Uh, ma'am, you're a dry cleaner....but, ok. No smile when I greeted her with a hello and smile and then got progressively more mean. Several other places I can go, closer to my house. This is a great spot if you need a cheap, reliable dry cleaner. They have a quick turnaround and are open just long enough for me to swing by after my 8-5. As a busy attorney who always forgets to get her suits dry cleaned until it's close to emergency levels, this place is a gem. They got chai latte stain out of a light periwinkle blazer like it was nothing. Been using this dry cleaner for several tears now and they do a good job at a relatively reasonable price. Never had any issues at all. Even when a button breaks during cleaning they will make sure to replace it. Only reason I give 4 out of 5 stars is they still are not doing same day service and do not know when it will resume. My husband and I needed to divide and conquer errands before going out of town for Memorial weekend. My husband dropped off dry cleaning and my 12yr old daughter and I went to pick it up. My daughter volunteered to go in and get it. The slips were still in my husband's truck. They only gave us half of the dry cleaning. Then I told them they were missing half the order. They yelled at my daughter and said "that's why you bring in the dry cleaning slips!" She told me all of this after she got back in the car. Who freaking yells at a 12yr old?? This happened at 4pm on 5/23/24, so check your books and see who was on staff. I will be going back to my favorite cleaners on 36th and Indian School. I've been using this dry cleaner since 2017. i drop off 5-10 slacks & 10-15 shirts every two weeks. Always greet! Friendly staff, the owner is nice and you'll see him working from time to time. The best part is the price! I save $80 a knot coming here. My bill is usually $50-70 per visit. It cost over $100 anywhere else. Over 6 years and I've never had any issues! I would normally chalk this off as a "one off" but as I am gathering up a new batch of clothes to be sent off to the cleaners: I can't let this go. I will not be returning, not because of the quality of the product- but because of the service. The guy at the counter was so rude and unfriendly, it took me a second to realize he was being serious. Having to pre-pay is not entirely a foreign concept, some businesses require that you do that. I get it; but to pre-pay and be treated like that was seriously INSANE. I was LITERALLY paying someone $60+ to treat me poorly. Seriously, guys? Here's the kicker: I grew up not far from this business, and this used to be the dry cleaner where my mom would take all of our household dry cleaning. So I came in out of nostalgia. We have an account with Tide on North Central, but the closed due to Covid. I thought I would bring business back to neighborhood staple. HUGE mistake. The owner probably won't even read this and thongs will carry on as usual. Just know that one bad interaction is all that it takes to turn someone off for a lifetime. I can read people pretty well, and this wasn't just a "bad day" or displacement. He was seriously just an unpleasant person. I hope this serves as a training opportunity so that no one leaves this business feeling the way I feel WEEKS later. I'm not being a "Karen" or a "Chad" and trying to "speak to the manager." No one deserved what I experienced during a financial transaction of goods and services. It was weird, and I won't let it happen again. Take your business elsewhere. Running GRAND total, Royal has ruined 5 and lost 2 Ralph Lauren dress shirts. Manager offered to replace 1 of the 2 lost if I could find a USED shirt. The young lady offered to repair the unrepairable RL shirt--just to say they offered. As you can see in the images, a 10-inch rip in a collar is not repairable--she tried to get me to say I refused the repair! On the first damaged shirt, the manager said the shirt was old--after this many shirts they have to accept the responsibility that their laundry is prematurely aging our clothes. Today, my husband discovered 3 more ripped shirts they had laundered! I have been going there for over 3 years--no problems, a few months ago our laundered shirts were coming back damaged with 10" rips on the collars. They obviously have a reoccurring problem their not addressing. They could at least refund your cleaning costs--they double down on the damages. read more

Damaged clothes - not the first time. $100 jeans, frayed and steamed beyond repair (I have tried getting the fray out various ways. I gave regal two stars because despite the the damage to clothes, they always provided fast service and minimum waiting time. However, I can't let it go that I have had multiple mixups and seemingly every little stain that is on a shirt, they can't get out? They'll just put a "pre-stained" sticker on it and wait for you to pick it up. If you have immaculately clean clothes, this is the place for you. I have been searching for a different dry cleaner ever since moving to phoenix and I finally found one that does things fabulously without swindling you and sodomizing you at the same time! Well I gave them a chance based on the rave reviews below. my mistake. I just got my garments back in worse condition than they were when I gave them over for cleaning. there's a tear in one sleeve and another item looks like it was slept in it is so wrinkled. even when I asked them to press the item a second time they brought it back to me and said "oh she pressed it again" and of course it still looks terrible. I'll be doing my own pressing from now on since apparently I'm the only one who can get wrinkles out of linen. The review that says they charge $1.25 to have any item dry-cleaned is incorrect. They charge $2.50 per item. I like their prices, but I was not impressed with how they ironed my suit pants when I got them cleaned. They came back with double creases in some places and random wrinkles in the knees and legs. I had to re-iron them myself. I'm going to try American cleaners a little more south on 7th Ave. to see which is better. I do like that they are open late until 7 PM though. read more

I was told by the manager that they only pressed them and maybe the chemicals I used to wash them did this!! I didn't bring in 3 shirts with holes in the same area to get pressed!! I could see maybe one shirt but all 3 having holes in the same area!! Also they didn't even let me me know the shirts had holes in them!! I had thoroughly spot cleaned it with disinfecting pet stain cleaning spray AND spray and wash, I just wanted to see if getting it dry-cleaned would help the stain. They said they couldn't dry clean a dress because they claimed the design was glued on and would come off during cleaning. I went to a nearby cleaners instead who took the time to show me that the design was in fact embroidered on and not glued and therefore could be safely dry cleaned. The other company was successfully able to clean the dress. Regal seems to be uneducated about their business; perhaps they are quick to turn away customers in this situation because they have a history of ruining garments as evident in other reviews. read more

I love their work! They are always done when they say they will be. In all the years I have been going here nothing has ever been damaged! A major plus when I read or hear about other cleaners. They are open Monday thru Saturday. Only closed on Sunday. The owner is there a lot as well, so he makes sure everything is nice. Although when it is just the staff they are really great also. All young people at the front counter,yet they are still nice and answer questions properly and not on the phones. Halleluiah! Parking is tight, that is because they are so popular. Love this place! They are a HUGE step up from my old cleaners and are awesome with their same day turn-around service! They charge about $1.25 to have any item dry cleaned and if you turn it in by 9am, then they will have it to you by 4pm. Regal also has later hours, staying open until 7pm.
