Another hidden gem in the valley…read more I saw an ad in the newspaper for $6.99 a pound porterhouse steaks. Now I have never been to the store in person, but I have shopped there via DoorDash. I decided to go check it out for myself. What a find. First of all, it's not one store. It's a little international mini mall. And every single one of the merchants stores is occupied. There is a watch in time piece store. There's an international gift store. There's a dry cleaners and shoe repair. There's a kosher meat store. And I'm not sure what all else but it wasn't just a location for a grocery store. And then I walked into the grocery store and Man was I impressed. The store was laid out beautifully in a very old-school fashion where you could see all the cans in the aisles. The store proudly displayed seafood sign. Meat sign. And fresh vegetables. It was very easy to navigate the aisles as they were not overcrowded with promotional merchandise like most grocery stores. The other thing I like about this stores that you could actually touch the produce. Reminiscent of what you could do before grocery store started wrapping everything in plastic And on top of that I got three porterhouse steaks for $41. That is crazy cheap. This might be the first time I've come to the store in person but it's not gonna be the last.

Valley Marketplace is a chain and they have stores in Simi Valley and Valencia as well. There are lot of pros to consider: -Great prices with fresh produce (some items not found elsewhere) including some organic items. -Great variety of items from produce, spices, snacks and more (other items include bakery items, frozen foods, alcohol, kitchen/cleaning items etc) featuring American items, Asian items and Middle Eastern -Deli and butcher -Parking is fairly easy. They have a lot in the front but the majority is in the back. -Fast check out -Various stores in the same building featuring a watch store, bakery and take out eatery

Small farmers market with about 20 stalls with various seasonal fruits and vegetables, there are…read moremany farms represented and there are also stalls with fish or nuts, and one stall I saw had one generation volunteers with bagel packs for a dollar. Most of the items included a substantial "farmer's market premium", so it doesn't seem to be the sort of farmer's market where you're getting a bulk product for a better price by cutting out the middlemen. We paid $10 for a small container of honey, and another $10 for a few oranges. Then $16 for tacos, and $1 for bagels. Saw some poke for ~$34/lb which is also rather steep. There were also two stalls with food--fish tacos and also another stand with tamales.

Well, it's still bustling with vendors proudly showcasing their goods. Fresh grown produces straight from the farm. Farm to table to be exact. They also have a section where it's certified organic. Loads of fresh produce, fruits, veggie, eggs, pastries and so on. It does seem like they have a lot more food vendors compared to when I was last there. Also, more crafts and good as well. They have a section for that. Everything looked amazing and the colors of fresh fruits and veggies were great. There was only one vendor that sell fresh flowers. It's still busy as it alway has been. Pricewise, it's good.

Reposting what I reviewed at Agoura Farmers Market. "I've…read morebeen doing markets for over a decade and have NEVER met a ruder  management. We will NOT be coming back. The females running the market should look for another job. Their job is to make the venders happy. We pay a lot of money and it's hard work. They can address an issue immediately but instead they hide behind an email. It doesn't matter how many emails you send nothing ever changes. On a different note: they move the the venders around and now added steps with no handrails. Some will get hurt. Huge liability issue."

I have been reluctant to write a review on this company because I genuinely wanted to give them a…read morefair shot at fixing their managements problems. But this needs to be said. Never in my business career have I experienced such bad professionalism from a "management team." They will not answer phone calls. They make you email in which they most often times do not reply. I have been double and triple charged on my credit card for markets and they find a reason to make excuses on why these things happen with no refund. I have asked to speak to a supervisor who in turn also ignores your emails and makes excuses when she does reply. Worst of all, they lie and back each other up to make YOU the paying vendor at fault. All your trying to do is book to sell to your customers! Vendors are extremely unhappy working with this company and most of the customers who attend these markets are aware of the problem as well which is why a majority of their markets are failing. Additionally, I know off the top of my head at least 10 reputable vendors who refuse to go back and do business with them. What does that say? If you are considering booking with this company, think twice. Never again.
