Another hidden gem in the valley. I saw an ad in the newspaper for $6.99 a pound porterhouse steaks. Now I have never been to the store in person, but I have shopped there via DoorDash. I decided to go check it out for myself. What a find. First of all, it's not one store. It's a little international mini mall. And every single one of the merchants stores is occupied. There is a watch in time piece store. There's an international gift store. There's a dry cleaners and shoe repair. There's a kosher meat store. And I'm not sure what all else but it wasn't just a location for a grocery store. And then I walked into the grocery store and Man was I impressed. The store was laid out beautifully in a very old-school fashion where you could see all the cans in the aisles. The store proudly displayed seafood sign. Meat sign. And fresh vegetables. It was very easy to navigate the aisles as they were not overcrowded with promotional merchandise like most grocery stores. The other thing I like about this stores that you could actually touch the produce. Reminiscent of what you could do before grocery store started wrapping everything in plastic And on top of that I got three porterhouse steaks for $41. That is crazy cheap. This might be the first time I've come to the store in person but it's not gonna be the last. read more

This is a great international market featuring a wide range of products. I've been coming here recently for various reasons but my family has been coming here for many years. Valley Marketplace is a chain and they have stores in Simi Valley and Valencia as well. There are lot of pros to consider: -Great prices with fresh produce (some items not found elsewhere) including some organic items. -Great variety of items from produce, spices, snacks and more (other items include bakery items, frozen foods, alcohol, kitchen/cleaning items etc) featuring American items, Asian items and Middle Eastern -Deli and butcher -Parking is fairly easy. They have a lot in the front but the majority is in the back. -Fast check out -Various stores in the same building featuring a watch store, bakery and take out eatery read more

I just got home and started unpacking my groceries. The organic white lavash bread was covered with mold. I called the store and reported it to the manager, but he blamed his cashier for not inspecting it before putting it on the shelves. Unbelievable. read more

I accidentally stumbled upon this place after driving 30 minutes on the hunt for noon sangak and barbari at Bread Bros. After finding out it was closed, a nice business owner next door recommended I come here--and I'm so glad they did! I found everything I needed and then some. Their bakery selection is elite! Along with a great variety of Middle Eastern groceries, they even carry some Asian items, which was such a pleasant surprise. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. I shop here often and for many, many years. I sometimes dont get my ad in the mail on Tuesdays as usual and I cant make a decision if I want to come on Tuesday or Wednesday for the specials either week. I would really love it if we could see the ad online on Tuesday that starts on Wednesday so a choice could be made when the paper ad does not come on time. read more

This is a large grocery store with a lot of foreign items. I come here occasionally when I'm in the area to buy my favorite Babaganosh. There are many options for produce, ethnic foods, fish, meat, snacks, frozen foods, cleaning supplies, alcohol, condiments, and more. The store shares a location with other stores such as kosher meat stores, eyebrow threading, each repair business, and more. Please check the expiration date of each product you buy here. They have such a large selection of foods from different countries that makes it easy for them to forget to take expired food off the shelf. No self-checkout but the staff who works the cashiers are pretty fast. Free Parking in the front of the back. read more

My family has been coming here for years. Today I was looking for some snacks in their prepacked and weighed snack section. I purchased 2 of those bags + some other items. I noticed some has 2 even 3 stickers stacked on top of one another. When I came home I peeled it up out of curiosity to discover that they falsified the "packed on" date to extend the shelf life and they changed the price as well. A great treasure! The real surprise is their crafted selection of sausage from around the world: lokaniko from Greece, Cajun and Italian. Great selection of beers, cheeses and meats. I buy lamb every year at Easter. Reasonable prices. read more

Their produce section has hard-to-find veggies, always at great prices. Their deli department is even better. There's a broad selection of cheeses, also at unbeatable prices. The bakery section has fresh breads and pastries that are simply wonderful; something for everyone. The entire store is international in flavor and scope. First time there. It was alright. Not as big of selection as I would have thought. But it was fun to see all the different ethnic foods

They have great prosciutto at great prices but the staff can't seem to be able to cut it correctly, even when instructed to slice it as thin as possible and take out the skin. I just had to have them recut half a pound of it because of the slicing. I always go there and always ask the same instructions - the prosciutto is good quality but they need to train their staff on how to properly slice Italian deli meat, as the flavor changes immensely. They don't offer any organic fruits of vegetables- but for some reason my mom loves the herbs (which are not organic).

Everything in meat department has a 10lb limit: meat, poultry, seafood. No other stores does this across the board. Back parking lot at Reseda laid out poorly. Exit way passes through vendor unloading area. This is hazardous and easy to change. They never have an express cashier line; again a very simple change. On March 21, 2025 saw 3 items clearly marked KEEP REFERGERATED not in cold area. Hazardous, reported to Carlos the Manager. This has happened more than once. This is a large Middle Eastern grocery that carries Iranian, Arabic, Indian, Israeli and like items. It is located in an indoor plaza that has a separate bakery, threading/beauty salon, kosher butcher shop, and a few other shops. A few minuses: The prices are about $1, 2 higher per item than at other similar grocery stores like Jons or Super King. This was consistent across dry goods, fresh produce, etc. The meats section had a lot of good and varied items (like goat cubes), however you have to wait in line to get meat packaged - they do not have a separate section with prepackaged meats. The deli is the same way and was operating very slowly such that I left because it was taking way too long to make an order. Overall if you are in the area and need specific items, this may be a good place, however, the prices are high and there were some inconveniences that would prevent me from shopping here regularly. read more

I used to shop from this market from 10 years ago. High-quality groceries and fresh fruits and vegetables were offered at reasonable prices. Also, the management and cashiers were very polite and kind. But the last three times I went shopping there, I saw cashiers throwing bags at you after your purchase (even when there is no customer behind you) and then they're talking to each other and ignoring you...! Very interesting market. They have a huge produce section with lots of herbs, fresh veggies and fruits at competitive prices. Unfortunately, none of the produce is organic according to an employee working in the produce section. Their spice selection is amazing really, also with competitive pricing. I noticed three separate areas with chili's, nuts, herbs and seeds. Really nice is their olive selection with hard to find olives not available at the traditional grocers. Employees were helpful in helping me locate what I was seeking. The market was crowded on the afternoon I visited so it was a bit challenging negotiating the isles with my shopping cart, nonetheless, I'd return for the adventure. I prefer the Simi Valley location because they have a super versatile Asian section, the store is larger and less crowded there, but, I love this one too. It is a great supermarket with really good prices for fresh produce. Pros: - Large parking lot in the back of the store, no matter how crowded it gets, there are always plenty of spots - Amazing variety of really fresh produce - Impressive sections for spices and herbs - Awesome deli section with delicious cheeses and mouthwatering varieties of olives - Great prices for most produce - Helpful friendly staff - Cashiers are REALLY FAST at check-out. No matter how many people are ahead of you, the line always goes by quickly Cons: - Very crowded almost every time I go, and I go at random times during the week and weekend. I mean it's so annoyingly crowded that you gotta Tetris your way through the store. I don't wanna say that shoppers are rude there, but definitely inconsiderate and aggressive LOL so yeah, it gets annoying but I've found a VERY FAST method. I leave my cart at one specific quiet corner, I run through the isles and get a ton of things all at once, and take it back to my cart. I would never go to the Valley Marketplace in Reseda. I found the workers there including the mangers insulting and rude. Their produces prices are over .50 cents higher than their competitors like Aldi and Super King Market. The last time was there I noticed that they water down some of their fruits and veggies that are sold by pound, when I brought it to the worker that was doing this he said "then don't buy from here." When I brought it to the female manager attention she pretty much said the same thing. so I am going to take their advise and never shop there. read more

Absolutely the best place in the Valley to get cheap produce and fresh meat. If you care about organic though, you'll have a problem in this store. If you can afford the time to go during a weekday night you'll miss the big weekend crowd. Seriously, people like to bump into you here. It get old real fast. Stick with the fresh meat and produce for reduced prices. When you start venturing over to the shelved items it starts to become overpriced. One of the shops inside sells costume jewelry for $1.
