I absolutely love coming here! The staff is always so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. This place is truly a gem in the Smyrna community and the fact that there are so many tea options to try makes me want to try something new every week. I've definitely been here twice in the last weeks:-) While I've passed by this place a million times, I was first formally introduced to FruiTea when they were a vendor at my son's school fall festival. I remember meeting the owner and she was such a lovely persons she explained all the tea options, how the business came to be, and I made a not to actually visit the brick & mortar anddddd love it! My most recent visit was just before one of the World Cup watch parties on the village green so my family and I decided to drop in to grab a tea. They crafted special flavors to celebrate the World Cup and my kiddos decided to try The World (I believe it was blue raspberry and apple pearls) and I opted for the birds of paradise (milk based with honeydew and mango). The kiddos loved there's and while my tea was good, I think I may not be that big a fan of milk based teas butttt that does not mean that I wouldn't try another one. Fruitea bubbles is a great spot to grab and cold or warm drink. They also have cookies and a few random things such as empanadas. I've only had the drinks but I'd like to try the cookies or waffles. I've only had the bubble tea drinks and they've all been okay to good. They can be a tad on the sweet side since they don't have different levels of sweetness like some other tea spots. They also are kind of skimpy on the popping pearls. The cashiers have always been pleasant when I go. Overall, it's a cool spot to come and sit to do a little bit of work since they have wifi. Side note- you have to ask a team member to open the bathroom door because there's a code lock, likely to keep people from all of the downtown Smyrna festivals from using h to eir bathroom. read more

Cute little spot. Great vibes. Wonderful customer service and LOTS of boba choices. This is my second time and I've experienced both indoor and to go service. I went back today with a friend of mine and we both decided to try the Marlowe. It was exactly what we needed with the hot weather increasing. The cashier was so sweet and informed us that we could customize the pearls or teas if we were not okay with the Oolong tea option in the drink. Once again the place was clean and kid friendly. I do not recommend the Mi Matcha drink. It tasted more like brown sugar and milk and the boba was tough. Unfortunately I couldn't get through half of it before throwing it away. :( My sister got a watermelon drink without popping pearls and loved it! The place is decorated really cute and they have indoor and outdoor seating. We waited about 16 minutes to get three drinks. The service was really good, the man taking our order was very nice and patient! The place is very cute, lots of places to sit. The drink was good, I tried the new Dubai drink since I haven't seen it anywhere else and it was nice. The cookie on the other hand was actually rock solid, I would come back for drinks but maybe not from the dessert case. My friend told me about this spot because he's been here before. I like bubble tea and am always down to support a local black owned biz. The worker on the particular day I came was very rude, did not have a friendly face, I've came to this place many times but I had a friend with me who needed time to look at the menu, when I told her that we needed more time, she didn't say anything and just walked away. She was putting stickers on cups and maybe 3 minutes later I told her we were ready to order, she did not respond or look up so I assumed she didn't hear as she continued to keep putting on stickers behind the counter even though she was right in front of us and I said it pretty loud. I repeated myself 30 seconds later for her to pause, look up, say "okay, give me a second" and continue putting the stickers on the cups right in front of us for another 2 minutes. I found this very rude, since she was essentially not doing anything and seemed to be purposely delaying taking our order. beside the point, her attitude was just extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable. Me and my friend took our business somewhere else. I hope the owner will see this and see that maybe they need to hire some better staff. read more

I love bubble tea, and for all of those who love the spots on Buford Highway, this is a stellar option right in the heart of Smyrna. I had the Jasmine tea base with Hibiscus flavoring and Green Apple Bubbles, and it was easy. It cleared my palate from the oniony flavor from lunch. It was refreshing. They have planning of space to sit and chill and also an abundance of assorted sweet treats, such as cookies and macaroons. You will not be disappointed. I got the vanilla milk tea with caramel stream and brown sugar boba, it was really good just a bit too sweet for me. When I came in, a large group came in behind us and there was only one employee. My second time and my last time there they gave me attitude, and when they messed up my drink, they said this isn't Starbucks.
