They are delicious...tortillas are pure corn, fresh, very flavorful...beef is phenomenal...it comes with the stock where the beef is cooked so you can dip the taco before every bite. Frutamix is a great lil hidden gem in Orlando that offers Mexican food. I came here after a pickleball session at Veteran Memorial Park in Winter Garden with my best friend and a few other friends. I originally thought we were heading to get smoothies (the name threw me off) but was pleasantly surprised when we were getting tacos instead. I went with my friends' recommendations and got the birria tacos and the mango agua. For th birria tacos, if you want the consome to come with it, you have to get three tacos. We learned this the hard way because we only got two tacos and had to purchase the consome separately. The food was great and service was awesome. The combination was great but the highlight was the freshness of the fruit. It was $7.50 for the small one, which is quite expensive for what it is, in the opinion of someone who doesn't mind picking fresh fruit at the supermarket, chopping them at home, and adding condensed milk or cream, which is obviously my case but maybe not the case for their regular customers. However, I must say that if you do want a variety of fruit these days, you will likely be paying almost $8 for that combination. The curb appeal of this place does not match the inside vibe. Such a cool spot for a fresh treat. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in to find this colorful, funky atmosphere. They offer fresh made popsicles, ice cream, açaí bowls, smoothies and tacos. All except the popsicles, are made fresh to order. There are a ton of options. We had the blueberry popsicle and a tropical açaí bowl with coconut and Nutella. Both were absolutely delicious. The lady at the counter was very kind and helped us decide on what to order. Most of the popsicles are labeled in Spanish so she assisted us with understanding the flavors before ordering. Desserts do look good. I ordered 3 birra tacos with a side of consome for dipping. Tacos are fully packed with meats. Side items includes a spicy sauce (adds a nice kick to the tacos) and mixture of cilantro and onions. I wish there were more cilantros. Nicely package and it was still a bit warm. The fruit mixes are good, and made to order, once again crazy overpriced, but when you have a craving it's better than the fruit bowls at your local grocery like Publix. The employees here all have a stank ass face on every single time. They behave as tho you're bothering them coming in to order food. They will ignore you, drink their entire smoothie in front of you and then address you to take your order. I have regretted coming here each time I've come in. It's been a distasteful experience each time. The wait time is always long, and not one employee smiled or thanked anyone who came in and ordered/picked up an order in the 5+ visits I've had. It makes for an unpleasant experience. If you speak to them in English, they'll respond in Spanish correctly, but they should in fact reply in English. The women's bathroom is pretty clean, the men's is not. Overall, I only stop here when I happen to drive by, I would not go out of my way to come here or specifically plan a visit here as the ambiance/price point leaves much to be desired. This quaint spot was exactly what I needed. My friend told me about Fruitamix and I knew I had to check it out. I ordered a mango watermelon chamoyada which was so fresh, icy, and seasoned well. The tamarind straw was the perfect addition to this drink. I also ordered a large gaspacho to go. There were tons of fruit to pick from. Because it was my first time here I had to ask what fruits they carried. Not sure on the logistics of their set up but it would be cool if guest could see the fruit just to avoid repetition for the staff. Overall I loved the selection and prices here. My plan was to order online ahead of time in order to avoid the wait...didn't work out at all as planned. I placed my order at 5:58pm. I received an email confirming my order & it showed an approximate pickup time of 6:23pm. No issue there. I used to work near FrutaMix and pop in often for lunch. Since I moved, I have been craving the chance to go back! On this return visit we didn't get any fruit, but just focused on their often overlooked tacos which are absolute show stoppers. I got the steak queso taco and the birria taco with consume to dip in. Since moving to Austin I've had a wide variety of incredible birria tacos and it is safe to say that the Fruta Mix birria tacos can definitely hang with the best Central Texas has to offer. They did differ slightly in that the other Birria tacos I have had, had their tortilla dipped in the consume before being put on the grill. The steak taco was also fantastic, I loaded mine up with some cilantro and onions, and the green sauce that came with it, before adding a fresh squeeze of lime juice and it was absolutely perfect. Next time we swing by we'll have to grab something sweet for dessert. Whether a Fruta cup, frozen chocolate covered banana, ice cream, or shaved ice - there is no lack of options for those is us with an insatiable sweet tooth. read more

When we ordered we were the only customers there - the menu was smaller, but we were able to order and took our seat at one of the two tiny tables. A large family came in after us and they all ordered and were all served before us. I don't remember what it was called, but I got a drink that was a bunch of fruit, Chamoy, Tajin, and grapefruit soda. It was so yummy. We both for the Barria tacos, and Dorilocos which was spicy Taki-like chips with cucumbers, sour cream, Tajin, and lime. (we got it without the Cueritos) There was not a lot of seating, but that's probably because of COVID. (You have to order at least 3 in order to get the birria dipping sauce) Their chamoyada's are super refreshing especially on a hot day. They use fresh fruits to top it off and I usually ask them to mix the mango & strawberry slush together along with a mix of both fruits for the topping and it's sooo good!
