When I'm spending well over $125 for two people before tip, I expect to be able to enjoy my meal without feeling hurried. Another issue I've had is that they offer guacamole as if it's a complimentary appetizer for the table, only for it to show up as a $13 charge on the bill. This has happened to me twice. Because of the rushed service and the surprise charges, I don't see myself returning.

One was spinach and artichoke, salami prosciutto sopresta, ricotta grana padano. They were crispy tasty but greasy and heavy. I ate about 1/3 of each one and found the ricotta one was the most flavorful though my friends fav was the spinach. We all agreed they vodka sauce they come with didn't work but would be really good with a marina. If I run into this truck again and they gave different stuff on the menu I would definitely give it a try.

What else: My bum is on the Swedish. Sley Ice Cream might be the best paleta maker in the world. More than that, possibly even in Brooklyn. They make an enormous selection of Mexican paletas (ice lollies, popsicles if you're American), and they sell them all over NYC and beyond. However this little cute store with lovely service is the home of their Paletas, so stop by and try one when you're around! One word of warning: they make really weird paletas too, like Chili flavoured and such! If you're feeling imaginative, go for one of those. If not, just stick to a Passion Fruit or Coconut or some other wonderful concoction. They are absolutely, unimaginably delicious, and a very easy, obvious 5 star rating from me. And remember, don't hate the Sleyer... hate the Game. And don't tell them we're dating, please. Sley don't know about us. Sley've never heard of love. But they have heard of paletas. I loved everything. If you have a sweet tooth like me, this place can definitely become a little dangerous, especially for the health goals. The banana foster coffee was really good, and the flavor paired surprisingly well with the dessert. I've always heard when you visit a bakery for the first time, you should start with the staples, so I went with the chocolate chip cookie. And, there were so many options that choosing just one was a challenge. That first bite did not disappoint, with melted chocolate inside, just like how I like it. You can taste the sea salt, but it's subtle and doesn't overpower the cookie at all. Such a well executed cookie, so good. The service provided was also pleasant. I'm already looking forward to trying the other flavors of cookies, as well as some of their other drinks. Parking was also pretty easy for me since it's on a corner nearby a residential area. There's also a lot behind the bakery, but there was a sign saying it's for staff, so I'm not sure if customers can park there. Definitely worth a visit!

The taste is good, but I wish they were a little smaller/cheaper to justify the indulgence. There was also a menu board slide show where I briefly saw an image of a sundae, but it never came back around, so I didn't end up ordering it. There was a pretty extensive drink menu as well. There wasn't really a lot of seating, but they pack up well to go. I would come back to try some of the other flavors and menu options.

It was a very large portion, the corn was very good, and the cheese played against the mayonnaise very well. Just an absolutely delicious dish. I liked the tostone tacos a lot. I love plantain, and I have never had. Tostones before. They were great. The chicken was tender, and played well with the rest of the ingredients. It also came with a crema to put on top. Crema it is so much better than just regular sour cream. I also liked the lime to squeeze on it, it provided a nice pop of acid. The one thing I didn't really care for was the empanada. It tasted good, but it was way too oily. I could see it in the container, and then when I picked it up, I could just see the oil on my fingers afterwards. It was a little bit of a letdown. I stopped by at around 11am and the place was empty but there are plenty of seats available in the taqueria with lots of Mexican drinks options. The ambiance was quiet. I asked for two cacti tacos, also known as the Taco Azteca at this taqueria as recommended by the other Yelpers. I started with two because I heard that their tacos run big. These tacos were enormous and I was full eating after just one taco and saved the other one for an afternoon snack!! They also give you a generous cup of green sauce, which is one of my favorites! Because normally when getting a cactus taco in the other boroughs, they only give you a straight vegetarian taco only, but I was very surprised it came with a big chunk of meats. For $10-12 for two big giant tacos, I feel like I am getting fed very well. I'll definitely be back again to try their lamb/goat soup as recommended by the other Yelpers.
