Boy was I wrong. Even with only 6 people in the store my Bacon and Tomato toast and coffee took 25 minutes. When I got my iced vanilla latte it was so bitter I had to take it to the stand to tinker it to my liking. My toast on the other hand was a complete letdown. The bread was soggy, bacon cold, and arugula wilted. While I do have to give the barrel props on its ambiance, music, and location (as it is in the heart of my childhood hometown) I do recommend scanning over ingredients to make sure they are at the peak freshness, stocking the fridge with more grab and goes (maybe some pasta salad, wraps, or even sandwiches). I look forward to reviewing the barrel again and hope I can see improvements!

Oh boy...the espresso had literally no flavor. The milk overpowered everything and I just couldn't drink it without thinking about anyone who may have the smallest sensitivity to lactose tolerating the beverage. The milk didn't even taste good either! I had to immediately toss it. I should have asked to have it remade but it took the baristas already over 10 minutes to make the thing so I cut my losses.
