Guapo's is easily the best coffee on Long Beach Island, and honestly might be the best coffee anywhere on the Jersey Shore. i don't know if i've had a better cup anywhere in New Jersey. everything just feels thoughtful. the coffee is organic, all the simple syrups are made in-house, and you can taste the difference. if you're not in the mood for coffee, the juices are ridiculously good too, especially after a hot morning at the beach. the vibes are great, the space is really well done, and they even have merch that's actually worth buying. what really made us keep coming back though was the staff. everyone was genuinely kind, and after a few visits they remembered our names. it's the kind of place that makes you want to become a regular. if you're on LBI, don't overthink it. this is the spot. read more

Over the past few summers, I've made it a personal goal of mine to try as many coffee shops on the island as I could. There are a couple of decent spots, a bunch of duds, and then Quapos. It's still the best spot I've found for espresso based caffein on the island. I haven't tried their specialty drinks bc I don't tend to enjoy that type of sugary coffee flavored treat, but others seem to enjoy them. Quapos hits all the right notes. It's got good branding, nice vibes, great location, and staff who seem to actually know what the heck they are doing. Go early to hopefully avoid lines out the door. read more

Salty dog was good but expensive: $9! Cool rustic vibe with lots of grab and go options for snacks. A lot of the specialty drinks sounded delicious. Didn't try any of the toasts but they sounded good. Staff is not at all warm and we felt super unwelcome. I said thank you like 3 times to the staff throughout our visit and no one even looked up or smiled once. Sad. Not a dealbreaker but for that alone I'm not rushing back. read more

Guapo's is a really cute spot rich in downtown Beach Haven. The blue cold foam that you can get in the coffee is so unique. I've never had anything like it before. It's a little pricier than other places around, but honestly it's worth it because it tastes really good. I also tried the ricotta toast and loved it. It's simple but fresh and satisfying. The vibe of the place is cozy and chill, and they also have rooftop seating which is awesome. I'd definitely go back next time I'm in town. read more

Completely blown away by this coffee shop.. easily some of the best crafted drinks I've had in a while! I've been meaning to check out Guapo's for a while now, and finally got an opportunity to do so for the first time. The interior is very cute and cozy, perfect for a spot to hangout with friends. We ordered a hot "Salty Dog" latte and a matcha, which were prepared in just a couple minutes for us. Although these drinks are definitely a bit pricey, the quality makes up for it. I was shocked how tasty and authentic the matcha tasted, and the flavor profile on the latte was delicious. Hope to come back and try some of their other drinks soon! read more

While on our family vacation to the island we had to stop in our favorite coffee spot! Guapos has a great variety of drinks on the menu, with creative twists on the morning beverage. I had "The Salty Dog" topped with a fun yummy blue sweet cream. Everyone loved their drinks including my 4 year old who got a strawberry banana smoothie. There's something for everyone here and it's no secret they have great coffee and service, as it's always busy but the amazing staff keeps things moving quickly. Came here twice during my brief visit to Beach Haven. First time just stopped in for a "hit" of espresso around 1pm. Oh so good. The second was in the morning for a creamy latte with coconut syrup that I drank on the rooftop. Clean place with relaxing music. Friendly service. Seating inside, out front, and on the rooftop. Highly recommend. They open at 7am. They may open earlier in the future. read more

Guapo's Coffee House was one of our go to coffee joints during our trip to Beach Haven. The shop is dog friendly and has a pup cup for your canine friends. Best part of the shop is the roof top seating area. Absolutely gorgeous! As for the drinks- O got the Shaken Espresso. Sooo good. I also tried their fresh juice Ruby Red. It was hard to make myself slow down when I was drinking it. Some of the baked goods are vegan so be sure that is what you are looking for since the flavors can be quite different. Great vibes, greaaaat food and drinks but definitely very pricey. Was charged $$ extra for cold foam on 3 of our drinks and our drinks didnt have cold foam. Went to state that but it was sooo swamped and understaffed there was no point, but definitely disappointed. Loved the rooftop and the ambiance, definitely has so much potential just think they have to work some staffing and consistency out. Cool surfer-ish coffee shop with an upstairs patio and a love of dogs. We enjoyed everything we had here, especially the Salty Dog (iced caramel latte with blue cold foam). Avocado toast was good, GF a apple muffin was great! Cons were price, a little high for a treat, and the line which can get rather long. Overall I look forward to coming back here. read more

I went to Guapo's Coffee House with two other people. We got there at a good time thankfully because the line can get decently long although they are pretty quick inside. I ordered a shaken espresso latte with brown sugar and it was so good. They were even able to make it decaf for me. I also ordered an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese and it was the perfect paring with my coffee. They also have some breakfast wraps and other treats like crumb cake. One of the people I were with got an Iced americano. His first sip he said it was a really good. The other person who I was with ordered an iced chai latte and it looked really aesthetically pleasing. They also sold some merchandise which looked really cute and the icing on top to this place is that they have a rooftop sitting area! Definitely would recommend checking it out! read more

I unfortunately can only drink decaf & have found it hard to find a good coffee drink that's not just basic hot decaf on the island. Was recommended Guapos and it is sooooo good! I want to love this place but honestly I don't want to pay $8 for a latte, even a great latte. It just feels overpriced. On the upside they have a lovely rooftop area where you can look down on the Bay Ave action. On the whole I'll take the Bagel Shack for coffee on quality and price, but I do like the ambiance here. read more

$10 for a coffee is insane even for LBI standards. It's even worse when your two coffees with oatmilk are chunky because the milk is expired.
