I love the food they serve. However, if I was the owner I would make several changes: 1) The Staff is very unfriendly! We walked into tbe store and no one was in the restaurant eating--I see why now. We Proceeded to the counter and a guy came out of the kitchen and said nothing to us but just looked at us like what do you want--I am busy. Then he went back to the kitchen and sent another employee out that took our order-- not any friendlier. At that point I started to walk out but didn't. 2) The place is very nasty every time we go in there. I honestly cannot believe this place is allowed to operate. From the moment I walked in, it felt less like a restaurant and more like a biohazard zone. The floors were sticky, the tables had visible crumbs and grease. If basic sanitation is too much to ask, then you shouldn't be serving food--period. But somehow, the filth was only half the problem. The employees were unbelievably rude and clearly uninterested in doing their jobs. No greeting, no eye contact, no attempt at basic courtesy. When I politely asked a question about the menu, I was met with an eye roll and a tone that suggested I was inconveniencing them by simply existing. Customer service here is not just bad--it's nonexistent. To make matters worse, some of their items on the menu were awfully unpleasant to the tongue. Which honestly isn't surprising given the conditions of the place. After seeing how dirty everything was, I completely lost my appetite and couldn't even bring myself to take more than one bite. This restaurant is a perfect example of how NOT to run a business. If you value cleanliness, basic respect, or your health, do yourself a favor and stay far away. My friend and I needed a mid-afternoon snack and Frutta Bowl felt like the most nutritious option. She ordered the classic bowl (pictured), which comes with berries and a "base" of your choice. Two sizes are offered: small and large. I chose a detox smoothie (pictured) with pineapple, kale, apple and chia seeds. There was nothing "smooth" about my smoothie; it was very chunky, but tasty nonetheless. Three sizes are offered: small, medium, and large. Our order came quickly. Super nice people. But seriously to the owner I would say you can't keep giving your customers those tiny straws. It made the experience infuriating. I could not enjoy the chocolate explosion while driving. That puny straw should never have been given as an option. Get larger diameter straws. Please! The straw was impossible to use so I had to try to sip it while driving which was quite difficult. The larger diameter straw would've made it much easier. not a big fan, came in for an acai bowl and only got fruit and peanutbutter with an acai "dressing" i would describe. The ratio of the base to the toppings is just completely off and it was almost warm instead of cooling and refreshing. Just not what I was expecting. read more

Friendly customer service. My bowl was wrong but immediately fixed with a great attitude. Very clean establishment, but they don't wear or require masks. As far as the food, the bowl is a decent size but overly sweet to me. The fruit and toppings were fresh and delicious but the base itself seemed more sugar than healthy. I got the Jamaican with strawberries instead of blueberries. I'd get it again but with no honey. Definitely worth a try but I was not amazed. read more

I rarely write reviews but this was needed. Came in on a Sunday morning with one person in front of us. Took 10 minutes just to place our order. Then took almost 20 minutes to get it. (2 smoothies and a toast) If you're going to have a business with this type of menu, you probably should not have two teenagers running it. I was waiting at the counter and was told that he wouldn't be getting to my order for awhile. I guess that was his way of telling me to go sit down and wait. The people in front of us were not even notified that their order was ready so it sat behind the counter for awhile before they realized it. Just bad service. read more

We really enjoy Frutta Bowl and used to visit often when it first opened. We live over an hour away, and haven't been here in over a year. I was excited to drive over for brunch, but I was so disappointed in how things had gone done hill since our last visit. The place was absolutely filthy. Bordering on walking out but my husband had already started ordering when I was looking around and taking in the nastiness. The floors were sticky with visible messes everywhere. The tables were all gross. I used a baby wipe in my purse to clean our tables and stools off before eating. The counters, menus, and food prep areas (front of freezers, refrigerators, counters, and all areas behind the counter) were disgusting. The trash was overflowing. The floors behind the register were even worse than the main dining areas. The three very young employees were nice, but not cleaning or working on any of the things mentioned. The bottled drinks we ordered were served at room temp because they "forgot to put them in the fridge." Ordered a regular bowl and it was a complete inconvenience for the employee to even make it. The service was horrible. They made tipping mandatory and she frowned upon only receiving 10%. The Regular bowl and tip was $12. They do not have anything but the bowls and smoothies. I do not see this place lasting much longer especially since the fruit they served wasn't even ripe! Paducah is my go-to pit stop for road trips to Nashville but this time I was feeling something a little more refreshing than the typical fast food joint. It is a little further off the highway but still on the main drag in a little strip mall. It was a Thursday afternoon and there was no wait. I ordered right away, went to the bathroom and by the time I was done my bowl was ready. I loved how quick it was! And the smoothie bowl itself was delicious. I got the PB&J bowl. I wish there was more smoothie though. It was like 25% smoothie, 40% granola, 20% blueberries and 15% peanut butter. read more

Loved trying my first açaí bowl, both my kids were gobbling it up too! Love to have a new tasty option in Paducah that also supports my healthy lifestyle! So I've tried a lot of acai bowls in my life. This place was not the best but it wasn't bad. We got the Pina Colada bowl, which was pretty good but not very flavorful. The Frutta bowl was better but lacking in flavor. I am willing to go back and try it again, as the bowls were still very refreshing on a hot day. read more

If you want a great, healthy meal, look no further! I'm a regular here (at least once a week) and they have yet to disappoint. In terms of my favorites, the seasonal chocolate-covered strawberry is by far supreme. The classic frutta and frutella bowl are great if you haven't been here before! I always get the $11 combo which includes two of these three choices: small bowl, toast, and/or smoothie. I think it's the best fiscal option for the most food. Likewise, if I'm a little more hungry than normal, I purchase the protein bites. I typically buy the plant based option, and they are extremely filling. The food is mediocre for the price. The price is more than my 98 Camry is worth. The fruit is good but I'm curious where it comes from. Is it safe??? Is it grown in the U.S??? These things need to be known to the public. In reference to the staff, they are okay. When I was there, there were two lovely gentleman named Luke and Ben. It's a different kind of diet than I'm used to but the food, especially the products with whey protein, are great after a workout. I especially love the chocolate explosion drink. Delicious. I was sooooo excited to have this open in Paducah, unfortunately I was extremely disappointed in our visit I guess I was expecting good, fresh fruit and organic products, but that's not the case. I stopped in dying for a good fruit smoothie.... what I got was a very pricey (over $7) watered down, slushee like small cup of something that barely tasted like pineapple and orange. The three teenage girls took literally over 10 minutes just to make my 1 smoothie, they would do something then talk some, do something else, talk some more, etc while the owner was working hard. My husband didn't like it either so unfortunately it was dumped out. I really hope they work their kinks out as it is still new, but I won't be paying over $7.00 for a smoothie there when I can go to Midtown Market for an AMAZING fresh fruit smoothie for $3.50 even though it's much further away for me. read more
