Just a heads up though, if you order "mild" it is still definitely spicy, but in a good way. That said, the service was a big downside. When I went with friends, the place was not even busy, but it still took about 20 minutes for our food to come out (yes I counted because we were in a rush). We only ordered two tenders with no drink. For something that feels like fast food, that is pretty unreasonable. I also went specifically to try the mozzarella sticks, but we were told they had not even started making them and it would take another 40 minutes, which is kind of wild. Even when our food was ready, things moved really slowly. The cashier took SEVERAL minutes just labeling and staring at each box, even though we all ordered the same thing, and then another minute just to put everything into a paper bag. Maybe it was his first day? Another frustrating part was that the washrooms were locked, so we could not even use them while we were there, which was a mild inconvenience, but I think bathroom access in a spicy chicken shop is a bit crucial. On top of that, it is pretty expensive for what you get. Overall, the food is the only thing really saving this place. It tastes incredible, but because of the slow service, locked washrooms, and high prices, I probably would not go back.

Pleasantly surprised my the carbonation to syrup mix in their fountain machine (it was actually good). Interior was a bit run down and could be cleaner but it was 50% food delivery folks and 50% people going out on a Friday night (it was around 9pm when I visited)

I chose the spicy chicken sandwich with coleslaw and Cajun fries through Uber Eats based strictly on how it was presented. Delivery took a while, which I understand isn't always within the restaurant's control. Unfortunately, the food itself didn't match the expectations set by the photos. The chicken tasted low quality, with an unappealing texture and very little flavor. The fried coating lacked crispness and seasoning, the pickles looked different from what was pictured, and the sandwich overall felt hastily assembled. The coleslaw also tasted low quality and didn't elevate the dish. I was hungry and still couldn't finish more than a few bites. The Cajun fries were underwhelming as well, with seasoning that felt basic rather than bold. I requested extra ketchup but received only one packet, and the two sides of dressing came in a very small plastic ramekin that didn't feel proportionate to the order. This may be intended as fast food, and I'm open to that, but when a restaurant presents elevated visuals on Uber Eats, the expectation is that the delivered product reflects that standard. Based on this experience, I wouldn't order again and regret choosing this spot.

Overall, my experience was alright. Nothing screamed out "Oh I have to go again!" or "let me tell…read moresomeone about this!". The piece of chicken on my sandwich was a rather peculiar piece in terms of its shape. It did not provide an enjoyable eating experience. When I took my first bite, after figuring out which would be an easy bite, a piece of chicken fell out which made me realize it was two separate pieces of chicken inbetween two buns. It got rather messy after having to pick up the fallen pieces. Other than that, it was flavorful but wasn't the best I've had. I prefer Dave's Hot Chicken over this. My fries were pretty salty. If given the option, I would have requested lightly salted or no salt at all. Space was small but understandable as it seemed to be a carry-out spot. Customer service wasn't quite all that. The girl took our order and that was it. Not much of a greeting nor farewell/thanks for coming. We didn't receive a follow-up during our meal to see if we may needed anything. I would have benefited from extra napkins. My friend enjoyed his meal. He stated it was a good meal but he wouldn't go out of his way to get this. He would have preferred to uber-eats it if he lived here. What made me want to go was the name. My last name is the same as the restaurant name so I figured give it a go! Also saw positive reviews on TikTok.

I haven't…read moretried ALL the hot chicken sandwiches in the city but this one has got to be near the top on anyone's list. Toasted bun, very nicely constructed, very tender perfectly cooked chicken. We had it spice level HOT the last time we were here and it was just spicy enough to get the lips warm but not enough to overwhelm. The Szechuan taste is a brilliant partner for this southern classic. You can eat in at the counter, or in the summer the patio is a nice place to enjoy your sandwich in peace and soak in the busy Queen West energy just up the street. Love this place, the staff give off a good vibe.

I got the soondobu tofu soup combo (comes with fried mackerel and rice), which wasn't bad but wasn't amazing either. For some reason the fish took a while to come out, and some of it was too blackened for my liking. The side dishes were also just so-so. First time I didn't get any refills of banchan at a Korean restaurant. After we finished eating our late dinner, we couldn't wave down a server for our to-go box or the check until several tries in. I think our area was just kind of neglected to be honest, in part because there were a lot of people in the restaurant despite the late hour. No one seemed particularly friendly - not mean, but not the most hospitable either. The size of the restaurant made it difficult to feel welcomed. Overall, the food wasn't bad, the service could have improved, and I walked away full but not particularly satisfied.
