Crunchi- crispi-est chicken ever. When you order chicken somewhere for the first time, you never know what size the pieces will be. these are mighty drumsticks. I could barely finish it. Not sure what's kim chi about the macaroni and cheese but it was very tasty.

10/10 double fried tenders with the sides are a must. The snow cheese was sweet and full of flavors i loved it.

Got 4 chicken tenders with half snow cheese and the other with gojuchang and a side of kimchi Mac and cheese which was really good. The people that worked there were really nice and helpful. They're located at the Heist with other other food trucks and the place is lively and welcoming.

Picked up some giant naked drummies togo that air fried to perfection back home. It was a great way to keep crisp skin intact til ya can get to it. You can then dip or toss in sauce to your hearts desire. Can we take a moment for that curry mash tho...didn't know I was missing this in mah liiiife till now. Kudos on a classic w a twist. Will have to come back and try diff chick flavs and sides. Pick up was easy. Staff good vibes...check :) There was a few covered picnic tables to sit and grub as well.

Overall this is a solid food cart, I actually think my favorite thing I tried was their Kimchi Mac and Cheese. The kimchi and cheese flavors were very strong, and the mac and cheese was very creamy. We tried two chicken flavors, the snow cheese wings and Gochujang tenders. The snow cheese flavor was my favorite (the outside texture has good flavor but the chicken inside isn't seasoned super well) The gochujang sauce was a bit too sweet for me and lacked much spice Service is fast, and there's good seating in the food cart park

This is one of my favorite places to get Korean fried chicken in the Portland area! The chicken is always large, super crispy and full of flavor. I especially like the soy garlic flavor. The kimchi mac n cheese is also great! It is cheesy and has just the right amount of kimchi and spice. The food all came out very quickly despite there being a line.

Frybaby has been on my list to try for a long time. This week also happened to be wing week as well. We got to try their Korean Honey Butter wing special and their wings with Snow Cheese. Also got their plum soda drink and a side of fries. The wings come with the drumette, wingette and tip which I loved. Nice big piece of fried chicken. The skin was super crispy, but the meat was juicy, tender and fall of the bone. The honey butter wing was good with some sweet and savory flavor, however, the snow cheese was amazing. My first bite I was in awe, so delicious. It went nicely with the scallion greens and the pickled radish. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The plum soda was refreshing and went nicely with the fried chicken. There's no on site parking, but there's street parking available which isn't too hard to find. Food came out quickly and there's outdoor seating but it's covered which is nice. You bus your own table if you are dining in but otherwise can do take out too. Overall, will definitely be coming back especially for the snow cheese wings. I think this is definitely my favorite spot for Korean Fried Chicken in Portland now.

Wings Kimchi Mac and Cheese

Very crispy and flavorful wings. I enjoyed the gochujang chicken wings and the kimchi Mac and cheese. I didn't enjoy the noodles but the wings were top notch. Big and juicy. Not very spicy

I tried three drumsticks with gochujang sauce, similar to Korean yangnyeom chicken, and wings with soy garlic sauce, like Padak with scallion salad. The drumsticks were quite large, and I was full after just two. The batter on the chicken was really crispy and tasty. The kimchi mac and cheese had a great after kick. Great fusion + chimaek place! The food came out pretty fast and the owner was so nice :) This place is located in the Lil' America food cart pod next to Fracture Brewing. The whole food pod area is festive fun vibe and kid-friendly. It was great to enjoy beer from Fracture Brewing with this fried chicken. The best!

Stopped for a quick bite Heard this spot was voted the number 1 food truck for 2023 Ordered the snow cheese drumsticks and Mac and cheese and the no spicy wings with rice. Both were delicious The server was super cool and explained the menu to us and we appreciated that It's a food truck park, I would say they should have someone clean the tables more consistently though but it was cool We ended up taking it to go, it was chilly Looking forward to going back next time I'm in Portland

The customer service was good, except I ordered tenders and got drum sticks but it might have been a misunderstanding. The chicken was extra crunchy and the snow cheese is tasty 8.5 out of 10. The kimchi macaroni was absolutely delicious I'm giving it an 8 because the noodles were al dente, if they were soft it would be higher. Give this truck a try!

Giant snow cheese drumsticks! Missing daikon

I'm writing this review while the chicken is still in ma belly, it was soooo good! While I was debating between getting wings or drumsticks, they put tape over the wings on the menu, so that made the decision easy. I got the snow cheese and my dining companion got the gochujang. We also got sides--they ran out of the mashed potatoes, which we were planning to get, but I'm glad they did, cuz the drumsticks are GIGANTIC! They're more like small turkey legs, I've never seen such big drumsticks before. The chicken was fantastic--this was better than any KFC I had in Korea. Granted, I only had KFC once while I wax there, but still, it was amazingly crispy. I don't know how they achieve such crispness, it was like a thin chicharron, it just shattered so delicately in a satisfying way. The snow cheese was so tasty --it was a little savory, a little sweet. It would make a great popcorn seasoning. The gochujang was also delicious. It was not very spicy (which I appreciated), and also a little sweet. All this, plus they were HUGE! The smashed cucumbers were a perfect salty-tangy-spicy accompaniment to the chicken. We also dig the kimchi Mac & cheese, which was also good. I don't like Mac & cheese to be too creamy, and this was not. It also has more of a touch of kimchi rather than a lot of kimchi--flavors were well balanced. Chicken also comes with a small lightly dressed green salad that is green onion heavy, as well as pickled daikon. It was missing from my basket, unfortunately. I was going to go ask for it when there wasn't a line, but there was always a line! That was my only beef. Otherwise, this was a very filling and tasty meal. Make sure you go when you're hungry!

Went on a bike ride in downtown Portland with the specific intent of visiting this food cart. As an avid Portland food scene follower, this a was a bucket list destination. It did not disappoint. I had their snow cheese chicken sandwich and it was all that I wanted it to be, and more. The space is awesome with the brewery and the bakery, so do not miss this place. There is literally something for everyone

The crab fried rice is a fan favorite for good reason--it's flavorful, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. My personal favorites are the samosas and the roasted cauliflower, both of which are full of amazing spices and prepared with so much care. What really makes Nom Nom stand out, though, is the people behind it. The owners and chefs are genuinely welcoming and passionate about what they do, creating an atmosphere that feels just as memorable as the food itself. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, you're always treated like family. Great food, wonderful people, and a warm, inviting experience make Nom Nom one of my favorite places to eat.

I don't know if we came on a bad day or is it just bad?…read more We got the wings and they were so small that three of them would equal the same size of a wing at another proper place. But even worse, they were so dry that it felt like it was heated at 400° for 30 minutes. And for $16 that's horrific, I would say that this is like the wings you would find at a dive bar at 11 PM with no choices, and they would probably only charge you about $8 to $10. The Momo was just simply not good. We got the chili chicken and they were extremely small, over fried, and the sauce taste just like a store-bought, sweet thai chili sauce Lastly, we got the nacho for nacho week and oh my God was that a disappointment as well. It came out extremely cold, and it might be intended to serve not hot, but this was like straight out of the fridge cold. If you look at the pictures they have on the nacho week website, it looked nothing like it. It was a disgrace as it was probably 90% nacho in 10% everything else. If you split up the toppings, it would only need about four or five chips before you've exhausted all the toppings that came with it. Then you're left with 90% of just tortilla chips. I don't know how this place got so many good reviews but either this is a really bad day, but we got three separate dishes that were all bad, but I'm inclined to think that it's just simply bad.

I've not seen chicken wings as big as legs. He had Honey mustard with his wings. I've not seen him devoured all of that, in one day, you could tell he was starting to slow down by the last leg. Walked in and was pretty surprised there was no one around. (Head-scratch) OK, I'll try them anyways. No one at the counter either. I checked out the menu board and just waited, np. Out comes, possibly the owner or cook, whom was helpful about the types of wings and sauces but that was about it with the interaction. I guess helpful enough, even thought I've never been here. So I went with the 12-piece Bone-in Wing Combo (@ $29.49), which also comes with fries and coleslaw. The sauces I chose were the galbi and hot honey mustard as recommended. At first, I wasn't sure which wings were which, meaning they both almost looked the same. But obviously the hot honey mustard was lighter in color versus the galbi. The wings were crispy and excellent, but a tad bit over saucy. I wish I had more crisp on the outside. Maybe I'll ask for sauce on the side next time. Also, the big box of Crinkle Fries were decent, but I thought the coleslaw for some reason was very peppery. I didn't understand why. I guess that's their style of slaw, idk. Overall, I really wanted to love this joint, but I feel that it's just a 3-star kind of place imho. It's the price versus taste versus how hot it was outside. Unfortunately, the place didn't have any a/c on and the tables didn't look as clean as the other older posted pics on yelp. Someday, I'll be back to hopefully upgrade my review, but for now, it is what it is.
