I've been to the other Twozone Chicken, and when I heard about this one + saw their menu, I had to check out this location. Located on the outskirts of downtown Portland, you'll have to street park here. The building itself is pretty new and the inside of the restaurant is casual, fast-food style, and very clean. Now, if you were to compare this Twozone location to the one in Mississippi area, I would consider this an upgraded version. Both are great, but this location offers many different menu items in addition to the chicken. In fact, it is the only place that I'm aware of in Portland that offers this Korean street-food-style menu. There's fried chicken, street toast, ramen, and many other small bites in addition to alcohol. Service is quick and nice. The food itself is pretty good too. Amazing spot for some Korean fried chicken and other bites with friends. I would love to come back here.

What I ordered
J A.

I walked in there for the first time today hungry on purpose and willing to pay. I'm new to Portland originally from California. I ordered #4 which is the curry ramen. What I got was borderline I don't even know to say. Semi racism and I don't pull the race card ever but they looked at me and started giggling and talking to each other in there language. I didn't think anything of it. Just asked for the #4 and a tall Sapporo. $24.78 was my total. I do have to ask was it because I'm black?

Chapaguri Ramen

Wanted somewhere to stop by for a meal while walking around. So I decided to order the Chapaguri Ramen and I got exactly that. It was the instant ramen with the sauce packets (they didn't mix in the spicy sauce though so you can take out/mix in enough for your spice tolerance) topped with corn, green onion, and boneless chicken. It was a good meal and really hit the spot, but it wasn't anything special.

Half Chicken and a half-half corndog

First time trying this place and man was really delicious. The chicken here is very succulent and tender and crispy and they're very generous with the portion size and it's a good price for what you're paying for and the corn dogs are pretty good too. I love the gooeyness of the cheese and the crispy Breaded area of the corndog. They have a variety of stuff here so I really would take advantage of it to get that Korean street five feel one of the Street places in Portland and the staff is very kind.

Service was great, answered all our questions about the menu. Soooo many food options to pick from and affordable options! The chicken was flavorful and moist. Lots of seating as well. Overall had a great experience.

Wings

Horrible ! Was craving some crispy flavorful wings and instead got thick battered, burnt and flavorless wings. I ordered a 30 piece because I was watching a game and even with the various sauce options I had to stop eating cause it was just bad. Save your money and try somewhere else.

They said it's not associated with them (that it's the website) and the link doesn't work.

Thoroughly unimpressed. Maybe I'm hangry, but there were disappointments at every corner. Let's start with the arrival. I get there and see there's a 10% off offer for your first online order, I was met with teenage angst by the cashier who told me that it wasn't associated with the restaurant, but the website affiliate. Strange, it has your brand all over it, with no mention of the ordering website at all. No sense of friendliness or customer service by any of the staff to anyone who enters. Everyone feels like they minimally like their lives. Next up, the flavoring of the chicken is not very descriptive at all. I ordered the honey butter, no idea that it would be breaded since I ordered it online for pick up. Now, upon seeing the menu in store it just says (dry). Concerning for those with food sensitivities. (Not me, but still would be good to have those kind of specifics). Upon biting into the chicken, its slightly dried, over breaded, and doesn't taste like anything in particular except an inkling of fries. Most likely due to the fact that its fried in the same oil. Lastly, not quite sure how I feel about fancy instant ramen for ~$15. 4 pieces of beef thrown on top of a noodle packet. No thanks, I can do that at home.

We stopped here for quick lunch. They had a regular cashier and a self-order screen as well. They had a variety of items, and I was so impressed that they were all so reasonable! I have visited Portland a few times in the past but always thought it was expensive to dine out here- so I loved this surprised. My fried chicken rice bowl was awesome. It also had so carrots, bean sprouts and corn. It had a lot of rice too. The gentleman working there was so nice. Highly recommended.

I love twozone. I go a few times a year when the weather is nice and I can take a walk for lunch. It's convenient when I have film to drop off at prophoto. The food is always great! Some of the items have improved over time. The bowls used to have a ton of onions in them taking over the bowl but now they don't which is awesome! I usually always get the boneless chicken with either bulgogi sauce or Korean sweet and sour sauce. They are sweet but really good. The chicken is always perfectly cooked and crispy. The breading has a really nice warm seasoning with almost an addicting cinnamon flavor. I also get the tteokboki with boneless chicken and that is good too! It is a bit expensive, especially if ordering online since there are fees. The service is always very friendly! The interior is clean with plenty of seating. There are tv's with fun YouTube videos on showing how street food is made in Thailand. I enjoyed watching that while I ate. If you're considering going, definitely make the stop and don't skip the boneless chicken!!

The food was delicious. Will definitely go back. The service was good very helpful. The ambience was clean and casual.

Just please look at this ramen and you be the judge!

I simply do not know how this restaurant is still up and running. I live right next door and was soooo excited for them as I am a FOODIE! Korean street food sounded incredible but I was quickly met with disappointment. My first time there I ordered each of the staples, ramen, wings and a Korean dog... 1. THE RAMEN IS A STORE BOUGHT PACKAGE THROWN IN HOT WATER AND TOPPED WITH MEDIOCRE INGREDIENTS. As a ramen lover... it's simply a disgrace, you'll see from the pic below. 2. The wings I ordered were the soy garlic. It was not crispy at all/ under cooked slightly with MINIMAL flavor from the sauce. Again...a disgrace. 3. I honestly feel like the Korean dogs should be good he only thing they focus on as it wasn't bad but sadly...not great either. All around a big disappointment On top of all of this their pricing is not reasonable for the quality and inconsistency at all. Please read this and do not waste your time! Much better food here in Portland to offered and this is not it!

It was so delicious that I brought my spouse back for dinner when he arrived later in the weekend. When I went the first night I got the shrimp pad Thai and it was the best pad Thai I've had in a long time. So full of flavor and fresh ingredients. I also got the hazy IPA from the local brewery, Backwoods. When we came back later in the weekend, my spouse got the shrimp pad Thai since I sang its praises. I got the million dollar shrimp tom kha ramen and it was DIVINE! I literally cherished every slurp and bite, it was so incredible and flavorful! My spouse got a different local IPA and I got a unique twist on a Negroni. The staff were extremely friendly helpful, ensuring that we had an impeccable experience from start to finish. Prices were also reasonable for the high quality ingredients, quantity, and presentation. The ambiance was wonderful, offering a clean, welcoming, and modern-green chic aesthetic. Not only did we have an amazing dinning experience, but also an amazing service and ambiance experience! If we are ever in town again, Buranko Cafe & Bar will be our top spot to stop!

The inside still looks really cute, but my mom and I didn't get to sit in the woven chairs even though it was pretty empty when we went. I probably should have asked to move tables, but I didn't want to make it a hassle for the staff. We ordered the cheesy crab wontons, shrimp pad thai, and crispy chicken. The crab wontons were really good , crunchy and filling are well seasoned it wasn't just stright up cream cheese, I enjoyed them a lot with the sweet chili sauce. The crispy chicken was also really yummy, can't say the same for the the pad thai tho it was so, so salty. I'll continue to come back in the future!

Excellent bibimbap I…read moreordered through DoorDash after finding this place is close to Matcha Premium Maiko. Good ratings and I now know why! Two bibimbaps to go: one was tofu and the other was spicy pork. Spicy pork is not spicy but looks like it is. Good taste, so it's marinated well and the meat isn't tough to chew, like some other places. I loved the spicy pork bibimbap though. All fresh ingredients! They give a lot of vegetables, which is so nice, because other places are very sparing with their ingredients. I'm usually left with so much rice at the end. However, this place did a good job giving the right amount of ingredients. They also gave a small cup of miso soup - thank you! Would get this again! My husband enjoyed his tofu version. If you're someone who wants spice, add some of the red sauce they give you in a cup. I was very happy the spicy pork wasn't spicy, but I liked being able to control any spice with the red sauce.

Location: This bar is on the first floor of the Hyatt House Portland / Downtown. Ambiance: Pretty quiet and chill. There weren't a lot of people there so it was really easy to get a drink. Drink options: I really loved how they circle around different local beer on tap. They also have a few bottled beer too. They have a cast amount of liquor too. Surprisingly, they had a new bottle of Hennessy when we finished the first (during our stay). Usually a lot of bars in hotels don't have it, so that was a major plus. Bartenders: We met three while we were there. All of them super kind, friendly, and informative of the surrounding area. They gave us lots of tips on what to see, eat, and drink. They were really down to earth people. Pricing: I thought it to be fairly reasonable for a hotel, however I might just be jaded from Bay Area pricing (yikes). What I loved about this bar is that we were able to just chat with the bartender. I didn't feel like I had to go back to my room with my drink (which is usually the case). I was able to talk to a few other people sitting at the bar too. Of course all from out of town, but still nice talking to other friendly strangers. They do serve food at this place, but I didn't really get a chance to try it it since there was soooo many other food joints in the area.

We watched two tables leave without ordering. We waited until our food arrived to receive a drip coffee and a hot tea. (And when it did arrive the coffee was a cold cup of machine rinse. I really wanted what many have posted as the Hawaiian Breakfast: 2 eggs, 2 spam, 2 Portuguese sausage, white rice. But it wasn't on the menu. Our server accommodated my request (thanks to the pictures from Yelpers). But when it arrived it was 3 eggs, 2 spam and rice. Overall the menu is confused. Is it a Hawaiian theme or not. Scant options is rice. Lots of potatoes. Even the condiments were confused; no soy or siracha on the table but ketchup and Tapatio. The general lack of caring by the management is what sticks with me. The sad bowl of sugar packets, jam packets, creamers and stir sticks all thrown together on the table like a mistake.
