Spicy pork burrito bowl and bulgogi taco
    India V.

I loved this place...The food was amazing! Ordered the spicy pork burrito bowl which came on a bed of lettuce and tons of sauce with a side of rice. The meat was hot, flavorful and juicy. The bulgogi taco was delicious. Potstickers were good. If you're looking for something more filling I would get the rice bowl. The portions were very generous and the food was very affordable. The workers were very nice and the food came out quickly. This food cart is located in the Hawthorne asylum with lots of seating and all the spaces were pretty clean. Definitely adding Korean Twist to my list of favorites!

It was surprisingly not that busy on a Saturday evening, I think I got lucky coming before the dinner rush. After ordering they were still making the beef so I had to wait 15 minutes for it to be ready. There were things to check out around the area so the time went by pretty quickly. Rice Bowl with Beef 8.5/10 - I was hungry at the time of this meal so opening that box was like opening treasure. It was very tasty and I ate it all really quickly, but I wish there had been more kimchi. With the amount that was given, it seems like a no brainer to go with the 2 potstickers. Although, I would definitely get this again if I ever come back. Potstickers 9/10 - I also got the 5 potstickers on the side, and these really also really good. They were crunchy on the outside but soft in the inside. I don't think I'd get this on the side again but it was good!

Korean Twist was an adventure we took by accident, and I'm so grateful the other place was closed. I absolutely love Bulgogi, and it was really hard to try something with a different protein, but we did! Our party tried out the Teriyaki Chicken Yakisoba, Bulgogi Tacos, and Bulgogi Rice Bowl with the pot stickers. Everything was amazing! There serving sizes were large, but more importantly the food tasted absolutely amazing. Everything was hot when we got, and it only took about 10 minutes to get ALL of our food! One of our kiddos is a picky eater, and he enjoyed everything we bought All meats were tender, the sauces were delicious, and the protein to rice/noodle ratios were perfect! Can't wait to get back here again!

I was hungry and was looking for something to fill my tummy. After looking around, I decided to give Korean Twist a try. I ordered the rice bowl, and apparently the business was good because I got the last one! My boyfriend got something else from the next cart, and we quickly realized why the business was good. For the price, you get generous amount of food! My bf took a look and said he'd order from Korean Twist next time (I won!). The food was freshly made and tasted great, I devoured it in no time! I'd recommend this food cart for someone who wants to something cheaper and has larger portions!

Pretty tasty! Salad and kimchi were just right. The spicy chicken was slightly sweeter than I preferred but perfectly cooked. Their rice was just the right amount of softness and chew. Overall, a nice rib sticking meal!

At the Cartopia food truck, my family and I got a number of different items all from different places so that we could get a taste of everything! One of the items we got was this spicy pork bowl with rice, veggies, and pot stickers! This was pretty delicious but could use some minor improvements. We liked how the portions were HUGE, but felt that the spicy pork was lacking substance. The pieces were very small and the flavor was a little off - almost more sweet than spicy how we like! I liked how the rice was able to catch the marination remnants of the meat and almost give the rice some korean flavor. Enjoyed this food truck and I would also be interested in trying the burrito -- a few people around us ordered it and wow.. it was one of the largest burritos I have seen! Check this place out!!

My kid chowing down on the spicy pork rice bowl, I tried a bite, almost lost my finger! And he let me have a potsticker that was good

Bulgogi tacos were super flavorful, sweet and spicy and a great deal for $2.50 each. The cook was friendly and offered extra toppings at no charge. The rice bowl was huge! We ordered it with spicy pork and couldn't finish it, the sides were slightly above average, a couple pot stickers and cabbage salad. But for the money this place is a great value.

I ordered rice bowl with beef bugogi, it was on sweet side, I wanted rice to be more dry. It did get better with hot sauce.

The burrito is massive! The flavor was fantastic! Would get this one again!! Meat was soft and tender packed with flavor and complemented by the kimchi and vegetable.

    That's a big burrito!

Yum! I love burritos, and I especially like Korean-fusion burritos. The people at Korean Twist make a great one! It's absolutely stuffed with fresh veggies that are nice and crisp, and the beef bulgulgi is rich and flavorful. It's a damn good meal that'll leave you full (for reals, these things are HUGE) at a reasonable price. Kind of the ultimate food cart buy, when you think about it. Part of the Asylum food cart pod, there are plenty of places to sit, and it's a good place to bring friends bc there are so many options.

Bulgolgi burrito?! Yes please! Korean Twist is a food cart located in the Hawthorne Asylum food pod. The burrito was large, I split it with my boyfriend and it was just enough between us. The bulgolgi is delicious, but I took off 1 star because I thought the burrito could use more of it. I would come back to try more of their items!

Food: I posted photos of what I ordered. Great portions that were very tasty. Only bad thing about this place is there were not many drink options. I would like some sort of boba. The bulgogi wasn't the greatest but it wasn't bad. It came with onions on top which I am not a fan of (I wish I knew they came on top). The chicken was really tasty as well as the teriyaki sauce. There was no boba/drinks really inside this food truck area. Service: We had the owners son helping us. He didn't mind cooking Teriyaki chicken for us even thought it was only about 15 minutes before they close (he said it would take about 10-minutes, this was also the best part of the meal it was very tasty because it was freshly made). Cleanliness: I always worry about this at food trucks because what do they have; running water? power? I've seen too many taco trucks that have neither. I was pretty excited when I saw that not only did this place have running water and power it also had a place for the employees to wash their hands. There was also a hand washing station for the customers in the back of this Hawthorne Asylum place. Environment: Great ambiance. Really clean for what the place is. Nice shaded area for people to eat. I wish more food truck areas were like this, much cleaner than the food truck area downtown. Overall: I recommend this place! I would come back, if ever in this food truck area this would be where I eat.

When I went the first night I got the shrimp pad Thai and it was the best pad Thai I've had in a long time. So full of flavor and fresh ingredients. I also got the hazy IPA from the local brewery, Backwoods. When we came back later in the weekend, my spouse got the shrimp pad Thai since I sang its praises. Two bibimbaps to go: one was tofu and the other was spicy pork. Spicy pork is not spicy but looks like it is. Good taste, so it's marinated well and the meat isn't tough to chew, like some other places. I loved the spicy pork bibimbap though. All fresh ingredients! They give a lot of vegetables, which is so nice, because other places are very sparing with their ingredients. I'm usually left with so much rice at the end. However, this place did a good job giving the right amount of ingredients. They also gave a small cup of miso soup - thank you! Would get this again! My husband enjoyed his tofu version. If you're someone who wants spice, add some of the red sauce they give you in a cup. I was very happy the spicy pork wasn't spicy, but I liked being able to control any spice with the red sauce.

Location: This bar is on the first floor of the Hyatt House Portland / Downtown. Ambiance: Pretty quiet and chill. There weren't a lot of people there so it was really easy to get a drink. Drink options: I really loved how they circle around different local beer on tap. They also have a few bottled beer too. They have a cast amount of liquor too. Surprisingly, they had a new bottle of Hennessy when we finished the first (during our stay). Usually a lot of bars in hotels don't have it, so that was a major plus. Bartenders: We met three while we were there. All of them super kind, friendly, and informative of the surrounding area. They gave us lots of tips on what to see, eat, and drink. They were really down to earth people. Pricing: I thought it to be fairly reasonable for a hotel, however I might just be jaded from Bay Area pricing (yikes). What I loved about this bar is that we were able to just chat with the bartender. I didn't feel like I had to go back to my room with my drink (which is usually the case). I was able to talk to a few other people sitting at the bar too. Of course all from out of town, but still nice talking to other friendly strangers. They do serve food at this place, but I didn't really get a chance to try it it since there was soooo many other food joints in the area.
