This review is of the pickup service. First off, I would like to acknowledge the employee who brought out our grocery order. Alex was a pleasure to work with. He was very kind, receptive to our request, and careful with the placement of our items. Alex gets an A+! However, we did have a substitution with our order that caused a substantial increase to our total cost. I will say that they did refund us for the total cost of the item through the Fry's app. I do appreciate that. In all, I've had mostly good experiences with this service. But on occasion, I've have been given the wrong items, or poor substitutions. But they've always been willing to make it right. read more

I tried returning an item that did not fit my appliance 4 days after purchase. I was told that since it was a clearance item, that I could not return it for a refund. Nowhere on the receipt, the store or Krogers own website is it written that clearance items cannot be returned. https://www.kroger.com/i/terms/return-policy. If you find yourself in a similar situation, I found Kroger customer service at 800-576-4377 very friendly, courteous and helpful to resolve this issue. Despite keeping our refrigerator at 35 degrees, Frys milk consistently spoils days before its "use by" date. Sometimes we return it for a replacement, sometimes we just toss it out. What a waste. Watch your receipts very closely at this store. We often find pricing errors that favor Frys that require us to go yet again to customer service for a refund of the difference. read more

I checked my receipt when I got home after picking up a few items at this Fry's store. I discovered instead of the posted price of $1.00 each for the Haas avocados, I was charged $2.50 each. I called the store to have a credit issued to my card. After a VERY long wait for someone to answer, I was told curtly I would have to return to the store for it to be dealt with. Apparently, wasting my time and the gas for travel back to correct THEIR mistake is all part of doing business with this store. I wonder how many people have been cheated by this one scam. The store never has any stock, and you have to be really careful with the vegetables and fruits as several will show mold frequently. The worst thing about this place is the deli, though. Getting help is impossible - consistent 20 min + waits with NOBODY in line. The numbering system they have hasn't had numbers on it for at least 2 years. When they do help you - which is rarer than hens teeth - they are fantastically slow and can't cut any meat thinner than sandwich style. I don't understand how this deli sells any meet. I live right around the corner and like most people shop at a store that is close. Store always has carts. Produce is good. Store always stocked... except that time the pregnant wife wanted Trix... and they didn't have any. Store is clean. Parking lot is clean. Both the cashiered lines and self-checkouts are good. Most poorly managed Grocery Store. Rude Employees especially in the Deli and the Night Managers. Always long long lines. I waited almost 25 minutes in line to be checked out. Some bozo with a cart full of Alcohol cuts in front of everyone and starts yelling at the night manager he did not want to wait in line because he was in a hurry and he actually got checked out before all of us who had been waiting. Unbelieveable. Made several complaints to their corporate but no changes. Store always seems in Chaos. Store is close to my house but now I drive further away to a different chain and do not mind paying higher prices because that store understands customer service. read more

The employees here are rude as hell. I had a few items. Hot dogs,buns, two non alcoholic drinks and a couple of other items. I walked to a line and the woman there put her hand out like she was an NFL football player stiff arming a would be tackler. She said with emotion "I'm closed." In the rudest of voices. Went in for sushi Wednesday. Was disappointed at 2 levels. $6 "specials" instead of $5, and mediocre selection. Maybe we arrived too late at 4pm and missed the best selection. Still $5 Wednesdays at Sprouts, but some Sprouts don't have the sushi chef on-site and they tend to have a leaner selection as a result. So, the search goes on. read more

A very, very rude cashier named Sarah with long, dark hair who was working the day before Christmas Eve was absolutely awful to my husband and I for no reason at all... She gave us attitude the entire time for no reason whatsoever.. and we are both nice people and never treat people like that... Absolutely horrible the way she treated us. Please hire better people and don't continue to let the ones who are super rude to everyone else work there. I am very disappointed in the level of customer service at the drive-thru pharmacy. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but I just experienced for the second time where the person in the drive-thru was extremely rude. When someone asks you a clarifying question. You should not continue to repeat "that is what I said" in a rude tone. If you do not want to interact with people, then you should never apply to your current job. Stopped by the store to pick up a few last minute items on my way home from work & noticed the floors were super dirty & slippery. As I was leaving after I had checked out...with bags in hand, I must've hit another dirty/slippery spot and fell. My left knee banged the ground hard while my right ankle rolled & got scratched up. As I gathered by myself & grabbed my bags/belongings - not one employee asked if I was ok or came to help! Not a single one! After this experience, I won't shop at this location again. A wandering employee came up to me and my son while waiting in line and said that she would help us check out through the self service checkout but I had a lot of stuff so declined. Be careful when it comes to missing your online pickup order. I accidentally missed a pickup that I scheduled, and instead of cancelling the order and restocking my grocery list, as they're supposed to if you end up missing your pickup time, they marked the pickup as complete and tried to keep the $40 I prepaid for groceries I never received. Overall I just wouldn't recommend doing online pickup despite what's going on with Covid-19, as the employees are dishonest about what's in stock if they simply can't find the item you're looking for, and evidently they try to steal your money now. read more

It was 9:45pm and the store closes at 10pm and the manager, DANIEL, comes around every customer in the store saying, "we are closing please make sure you get your stuff before 10". I witness who I think was a manager who was harassing a customer on his way out that he had his service dog with him. It was almost closing time and barely anyone in the store... I ran out in a hurry because it was so oddly uncomfortable but I would rather have that dog in the store than that employee... she was causing a scene for no reason. They should definitely be fired and I hope I never see her anywhere else again. She needs mental help. I don't trust people who hate dogs. I understand we can't have everyone's dogs in a grocery store, obviously, but this was the most behaved dog I've ever seen. This employee/manager whoever she was is who I don't trust. I'm impressed with the availability of fresh produce. I think the staff is impressive. The variety of products was much better before all the liquor dominated the aisles. I also would like to see accessible small shopping baskets available for mobility shoppers. I've spoken with management & they offered to help but say it's not possible to provide small baskets because of Covid. Why can't small baskets for those who need them to shop, be sanitized? Last night I saw the front end manager, Matt, go above and beyond for a customer. Matt assisted an elderly customer as they were having trouble with their card for payment. Matt was so patient and kind as he helped her multiple times to try and make the payment, and was reassuring the whole time as she became anxious with the situation. Matt was able to ease her concerns and help her get the situation resolved with a sincere act of kindness. After she left, his humbleness about the situation as he continued to make small talk and bag my groceries, though it's probably well outside the scope of his responsibilities, was almost equally as impressive. read more
