I love Trader Joe's! To echo what many others have said, it may be smaller than stores like Fry's or Safeway, but everything it carries is thoughtfully curated and high quality. They offer a great selection of ready-made foods, along with a wonderful variety of fresh options including fruits, vegetables, and meats like beef, chicken, and seafood. The frozen section is also impressive, with plenty of delicious and convenient entrée choices. One of the best parts of shopping here is the unique items you won't find anywhere else--fun snacks, creative chips, and distinctive candies that keep things interesting every visit. This location and all the others as I shop all over the valley the service is top notch at every location. Few example.... I was throwing a 100th birthday party and the birthday girl loved sunflowers, she lived in a nursing home, I pre-ordered 10 bouquet for the party to be held for me i explained the situation and they were happy to oblige....I show up... they gave me the ones I ordered and a card every employee signed for her AND they gave us the rest of the sunflower bouquets they received that day for her nursing home so everyone had flowers to enjoy! No other company ever showed that much love for a local stranger. Another time, I was buying flowers for my mom's graveside and the cashier asked if they were for a special occasion and I told her....she walked off to the flowers and came back with a bouquet for ME! Sinple gesture that meant so much to the heart and my mental well being. The kindness shows. 5 stars on the flowers, liquor section, spices (black garlic ) sweets, snacks, boxed coffee, breads, cookies and frozen itemd. But, unless you are buying food for next 1 to 2 days some of the veggies, meats and cold cuts go bad quickly. My little loves coming here since he's got his own bite size cart to push around and pick what ever snacks he wants. I'm ok with that, since the snack options seem to be a lot better of choices opposed to your regular grocery and shopping centers... service is always friendly and helpful greeted when you walk in and plenty of staff on site to help direct or answer questions. The lines also move pretty quickly. When you walk in you are greeted with the fresh smelling flowers section, go straightt through produce, meats cheeses, breads, snacks, frozen items, dairy products, breakfast lunch and dinners, to spices and everything nice, wines ciders, vitamins, and some smell good feel good items. Trader Joe's is the best. It's a small store in comparison to places like Fry's or Safeway, but what it does have is always great. I love the frozen gyoza--it's better than many restaurants. Smaller store than what I am used to but found some items I wanted to try. The customer service here is top notch and very helpful so that made me happy. Absolute staple of my neighborhood experience. Right across the street from my therapist and next to my favorite bookstore. Could not live without the store management here and watching the kids use those little shopping carts so I could live vicariously through them makes my day every single time - doesn't get old. I think it's safe to assume that the service at Trader Joe's will always be phenomenal. They must take very good care of their employees or it must be a very fun place to work because I've never not had a positive experience at a Trader Joe's. Today was specifically special for me, because as an exhausted, eight month pregnant mom With a three year-old and a two-year-old just trying to get my groceries picked and purchased, Ash the check out attendant and Chase (I think) went above and beyond as a team to chat with my children and let them help, while also bagging my groceries, putting them into the cart, and insisting to load them into my car. I did not take them up on the offer of loading my car, and they offered more than once, ha ha. However, it really was the smiles and kindness that pushed me through that specific day. My mom started taking me to this location in the 90s, and I've loved it ever since! Though this location is 13 miles from my house, I will definitely drive there on occasion and always stop when I'm in the area. My must have item when visiting are the crumpets! One of the few places in the states where you can find a great crumpet. For having more speciality items, they have incredible prices. Easily more affordable than Sprouts, and you don't compromise on quality. The only downside is that they have high traffic with a smaller location. If you visit, I would avoid busy shopping times. read more

As always I LOVE Trader Joe's but today was extra special! We were showing our cousins Trader Joe's for their first time! We came in to grab a few items and the cashier (curly haired, tattoo brunette girl) was talking with us and we mentioned this was their first time and she gave them two little packs of chocolates and the tall, curly haired blonde guy brought a bouquet of flowers. we have had multiple unpleasant interactions with Gregory however, the one we had today was the worst experience ever. Gregory is very unpleasant and he creates unwarranted problems with paying customers who frequent the store. Management should consider keeping him as a manager or team member, he was also observed to be kicking out several customers for unnecessary reasons. he provides no solutions and creates problems!!!!!! read more

I have a LONG list of fan favorite items, from their sweet potato gnocchi, to their multigrain crackers, Scandinavian swimmers, frozen croissants, I mean the list could really go on and on! That being said, one additional thing that sets them apart is their customer service. Everyone who works here is so incredibly friendly and it's always so enjoyable talking to them. The only downfall of this location is the parking lot, it's such a horrible design with no real flow of traffic, but motherless, not really on them. read more

After my unsatisfying Avocado Toast at Fruta Healthy Eating. (See my previous post) I drove to Trader Joe's, bought my ingredients at the store, and made a better version. My Ingredients: * Sourdough * Pomegranate * Grape Tomatoes * Parmigiana Reggiano * Italian Olive Oil ( Essalunga Brand) * Haas Avocado * Salt It was super easy to do, and a lot more satisfying. I toasted the sourdough until it was golden brown, I mashed and spread my avocado chunks on the toast, added the sliced tomatoes, sprinkled some pomegranate, parmigiana, salt, and drizzled some of my Italian Olive Oil that I bought from Milan. They would even stop mid transaction to show me a new item and offer to grab it for me. Appreciate that this is an environmental friendly retailer. We are always able to find some really cool things at Trader Joe's. They have great Seasonal products as well as food during the holidays. You can get everything from affordable cheeses to variety of wines, flowers. I love this store. Everyone is so courteous and helpful and professional. Today I was having trouble finding some crackers and some cheese I had purchased before. Gregory took a lot of time with me. He said he was going to order the crackers I wanted and would have them there by Saturday. Then he suggested some other cheeses I might like and then offered to check me out. He was amazingly kind. There was another guy who helped me find the code dates on the prepackaged lemon and basil, pasta salad and when I left, Nick thanked me for shopping and told me to have a nice day. I traveled to California for Thanksgiving last week. During my trip, I ate many different things - one of the most memorable was a breakfast sandwich that my sister in-law made for me one morning. This delectable creation was topped with avocado, and Trader Joe's famous "Everything but the bagel sesame seasoning blend." After my first bite, I knew right away that I would have to make myself these culinary delights when I got home. Fast-forward to this morning, and I'm stepping inside a Trader Joe's for the first time. I'd heard of them, but had never been inside one until today. It's a grocery store, but it's quite tiny in comparison to your larger grocery markets. It has a small town "farm store" kind of charm, and I was immediately intrigued when I walked in. It took me a few minutes, but I eventually located what I came in for - the elusive seasoning that can only be found here! The employees were very friendly, and seemed genuinely happy (unlike many of the employees at Fry's, Wal-Mart, etc). The aisles at this Trader Joe's are easy to browse through and the layout makes it even easier to shop. I found what I needed with no problems. Btw their pasture raised heirloom chicken tastes amazing and is worth the additional cost. This is my local grocery store, I walk there and what can I saw it's a Trader Joe's. They have all the things you would except of a Trader Joe's and the people that work there are always super friendly and in a good mood. The Trader Joe's specialties for food continue to be amazing and relative to other specialized grocery stores the prices are in line. I do wish they could put more effort into closing their dumpster behind the store though because they always leave it open and if it gets windy the neighborhood especially the park right behind the store is always full of Trader Joe's receipts and trash. read more
