The Fry's I shop at is on 4351 E Highway 90, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635. I moved from Maine to Sierra Vista, AZ July 25, 2013 and was shocked to find some of the same exact food items I bought in Maine were literally double the prices here. We have 4 grocery stores here; Safeway, Food City, a Super Wal-Mart, and Fry's, so my 1st year or so, I'd shop at the different stores to calculate the price differences. I've only been to Food City 3 or maybe 4 times only to find nothing worth buying due to cost, freshness, and what they never had available. Safeway is outrageously expensive, customer service was horrendous for 4 years until they weaned out the worst and unacceptable management staff/team, and there is always a huge line at check out. I was very surprised to see Wal-Mart's produce prices are extremely high but I will buy simple items like trash bags, cereal, chip type snacks, tuna fish, soups, gluten free foods, toiletries, and a few other items that are a bit less expensive than Fry's. For some reason you're no longer mailing paper coupons and when I was receiving paper coupons I would buy the above mentioned Wal-Mart items at Fry's because the coupons did make buying those items cost effective. Why aren't you mailing out paper coupons as I've not seen the same savings has been transferred to the digital coupons you offer? I want and I have to say THANK YOU so very much for CONSISTENTLY being the BEST grocery store I've ever shopped at for 50 years!! Looks like our Fry's is the best Fry's in the whole state of Arizona!! Where this Fry's is located you're serving people from Mexico, Bisbee, Hereford, Palominos, Sierra Vista, Huachuca City, Whetstone, Benson, and area's like Tombstone. Your one store is supplying food to more towns and a large number of families that live on or just over the Mexico boarder and you are still able to keep all fresh, frozen, boxed, and canned items very well stocked, each department and isles are the cleanest, and I've only seen a mess in the restrooms one time, which was being taken care of as I was leaving that area. July will be 5 years that I've been shopping here I am totally amazed by how positively consistent every aspect of our Fry's is!! Fry's in Sierra Vista, AZ goes above and beyond all expectations from employees who truly do care, get to know customer's by name, know what items we usually buy, help us figure out which produce item is freshest or sweetest based on color and textures, are aware if we shop on a different day or a different time of day than when we normally shop. It's very apparent your employee's love working for you, that they really do enjoy taking time in getting to know customers, if we want to chat with them, to how quickly an employee who's not at the register will scour the isles or back rooms to see if an item that's not on the shelf is out back, and how the managers will make exceptions on the price of a sale item we wanted wasn't out back in the warehouse and give us the sale price to on Our Fry's is always clean, produce workers are constantly restocking, answering questions or leading us to an employee who can answer our questions From what I read in the comments, each Fry's store, franchise, or chain of grocery stores affiliated with Kroger need to duplicate exactly what the Fry's in Sierra Vista is doing!! I was surprised to see so many negative reviews as my experience with our store would not tolerate and allow any employee to have the privilege of working at Fry's with such blatant incompetence and lack of sincerity!! Thank you again for providing Sierra Vista with the greatest team of employees. I can not stand any kind of shopping, whether food, clothes, or even shopping online. I don't think a single damn person besides me was wearing a mask in this place anymore, and last time I was forced to go there to get a prescription for my mother in law I literally got the flu from someone in there that wasn't masked that was coughing all over the place. And somehow even though I was masked I still got their stupid virus. I have spent a week of hell recovering too. I actually went to get tested for covid because I was suffering so much. They don't make a single person wear a mask, there is no social distancing, it's just a bunch of non mask wearing people spreading disease. I don't feel safe in this store at all. Not even the employees wear masks now. I didn't see a single employee wearing a mask. I don't care if most people have been vaccinated either. The vaccine doesn't stop the spread of covid. You can still pass it it on. And people are too selfish to just keep their masks on and stop endangering people. And as long as stores like Fry's don't enforce the mask rule, we are going to be dealing with this virus forever because of stupid selfish people. Yeah I am pretty mad too, like I was there to help my mother in law and some selfish jerk who knew they were sick went in there and infected people. If you know you have the flu, or covid, or any other sickness man, stay the hell home! It's common sense. I seriously worry for people, it's like intelligence is just non-existent in this world and it shows. Also, um sorry for my swearing. I am just so frustrated. Ugh. Anyways, yeah. tonight while shopping at frys on oracle and 1st, i ran into a couple, the young woman masked and the muscled, heavily tattooed guy not. as they headed into the self check out i said, "you should wear a mask."he responded, belligerently, "why should i?" because you're endangering others," i said. he stared. "it's the law", i offered. he sneered and gave me the finger.the supervising clerk said, loudly, to me, "move on." i said, "what?""she said, "if you move on there won't be a problem." i did move on to the customer service booth and recounted the incident to the manager there. she shrugged her shoulders and walked away. so, plague take that store. i called the kroger hotline and a receptive women took the information and told me she was giving me 500 fuel point on my fry's card. whoopee.  i'm no pollyanna who thinks everyone should be perfect and report someone for jaywalking. but i am terrified of this disease and all of those who think it is somehow a hoax perpetrated upon them by all the leaders of the world. i also realize there is no cure for magamorons with the iq of the ambient temperature of alabama in january. but even the stupid need to realize that their actions can be life threatening. boycott. read more

The only reason to come to Fry's is that it is an improvement over Safeway. That's not saying much. They can start by giving their staff nicotine patches. One has to wade through a cloud of smoke between the parking lot and the entrance, as the employees are always puffing away at the entrance. The aisles are poorly stocked; half the store seems to be devoted to greeting cards. The loudspeakers blare with irritating ads and dismal pseudo-patriotic music. I suggest that anyone shopping there wear noise-cancelling headphones. Checkout lines are mercifully short as long as you bag your own. They never have anyone to help. The checkout staff are either bitter or snippy or saccharine friendly with fake, superficial conversation. Their in-your-face religiosity is equally unwelcome. Not all of their customers are Christian, but they don't seem to know that. read more

I generally like Fry's. The shelves are properly stocked, the store is clean and the associates are friendly, especially the cashiers. They carry a large inventory of items (including bulk, organic). I wish they delivered. The thing that is most irritating is the darn loudspeakers! It is constantly going off paging someone, to clean up a mess, calling someone for phone calls, etc. Sometimes the loudspeaker will make you jump from the sudden loud blast, depending on who is making the announcement (some people speak louder than others). In this day and age, and as large as Kroger is, a person could think that the company could/would provide pagers for all the employees and stop 90% of the noise. Alas, that is not the case. So we suffer; or as I now do is shop WalMart Groceries on-line. read more
