The deli has to be the most unorganized and poorly ran section in the building. I sat there for 20minutes and left with nothing because the people working there seemed to not know the specifics of the menu, after I kept explaining it. I only have a 30min lunch break and spent 20 minutes of it waiting on some help. So yes I'm upset that I have to come back to work without getting to eat a lunch at all. read more

Regarding customer service / bill pay money services 6900 via Linda Scottsdale, AZ Both mgr. Richard and Mayra were unable to provide satisfactory customer service for a loyal customer of over 30 years! A visa debit card purchased at the customer service booth with an upload of over $300 would not process as a debit card purchase on their own Fry's system. A $3.00 charge was paid for this card that did not work. I cannot believe this is Fry's! I remember what it looked like years ago, old and gritty. I haven't been in this store in years, until this week. The remodel looks amazing! As soon as you walk in, there are a ton of flowers and plants to welcome you. To the right, are the shopping carts, to the left... a real cold stone ice cream shop! The employees are totally incompetent and rude. I forgot my wallet and tried to use Apple Pay. I was brushed off twice before I was told they didn't have Apple Pay and I'd need to pay card or cash. This is my 4th time in 2 yrs trying to have a quick bite and a glass of wine at the wine bar. One time there was a very nice helpful female bartender. The rest of the time it's Scott. He has never come to the bar sooner than 5 mins after I sit and kind of grunts s greeting. He is then surly and rude. I love Frys sushi and love the idea of having a quick bite before shopping or running errands and will most likely continue my occasional visits. But man he is an irritant and deterrent. read more

I love this store! I've been shopping here since I moved to Scottsdale 17 years ago. They have done several remodels, and the current remodel seems to be almost complete. They have the best produce around-beats sprouts and Safeway any day! Their ecoupons are amazing, and I save so much money on their already reasonable prices. They've completely changed the store around, but honestly it makes more sense now. A lot of their employees have been there forever, and I love that they have several other services available. I had a pickup order on July 6 because I'm high risk. The order was NO SUBSTITUTIONS but they substituted full sugar for no sugar optIons. The first two items I caught when I unpacked as the packagimg was SO different than the no sugar option. The last item, for $10.99, I discovered after the pickup section had closed for the night so the store manager told me they'dcall me the folliwing day. Left two more messages over the following two days. Called Kroger Corporate on the 9th as hadn't heard any response in THREE DAYS . They assured me they would credit my Mastercard. NOTHING. So I called the store today after being on hold with corporate for 25 minutes BEFORE being disconnected after receiving a recorded message telling me the mailbox was full. The manager told me there was nothing they could do and had no way to get through to corporate to follow up. So ELEVEN DAYS after THEIR mistake, nothing. They just didn't care. read more

I've been to this Fry's twice now and each time I feel like I've entered a delightful culinary labyrinth. I took my husband once and had to warn him not to be in shock/awe but the second we got inside he stopped dead and told me he was in sensory overload. This place is THAT large. There's a sushi bar, a salad bar, a hot food bar, etc. The list goes on and on. There is so much to see and definitely makes me want to spend more time and money than I planned! The one downside is that they do not have furniture like that other fancy Fry's Marketplace on Tatum/Shea. There is some outdoor patio furniture when you walk in, but not much. Otherwise, this place has all your food needs at great prices. I would definitely recommend this place - but only if you've got the time. It's like Ikea, you come for one thing but wander for hours. read more

Love this location!!! I would drive out of my way to come here if I had to... They have Murray's Wine Bar which has a great selection of wines to choose from. Ed always helps me pick great new wines to try. Also, the meat counter is super friendly - it can take some time to order but it's only because they are always busy. The cashiers are always friendly and I love all the baggers - they always have a smile on their faces. I drove to 4 different Fry's looking for the best high end wine and spirits during their 30% off sale recently and this one had the best selection (and expertise) by far. read more

Frys prices and tons of variety. You can drink wine in the store. Beer selection not bad but not on the level of Whole Foods across the street. Beer minus one star. Selection could be better for a store going toe to toe against Whole Foods. Sushi - minus one star. There sushi straight sucks. Will add another star back to get this up to a 4 star because of Frys low prices which kick Whole Foods overpriced ass. Holy grocery store! I don't even know if the term grocery store can be applied to this Fry's. Imagine Target, Costco, AJ's, Fry's, Walgreens and Whole Foods all piled into one overwhelming massive store. This is what you get in this Fry's Signature. They have a home electronics section (with flat screens for sale), rows and rows of DVDs for sale and a home furniture section with an entire area full of couches, recliners, kitchen furniture and really anything you need to furnish your home. They have a deli with seafood, fresh cuts of meat, freshly made sandwiches and rows and rows of pre-made food that's perfect for an individual meal. They have a huge floral department where the little flower elves will create (or have created) any type of floral arrangement imaginable and they also sell all the indoor or outdoor pots and vases you will need to go with it. Let's see what's next. They have a massive pharmacy area with every bath product out there and any medical items you'd ever need. They have rows and rows of food and they carry the brand Graters which used to only be sold in its home town of Cincinnati. They also have Tully's coffee which serves some very delicious cup o' joe! Everything is clean, classy and very resonantly priced as well. This store becomes overwhelming very quickly but if you focus on your list, you'll get through it. Or you can be like me and go with the flow! If you are ever near a Fry's Signature, make sure you step foot inside because chances are, you've never been anywhere like it. read more

Straight up I just love this place. This has the best kosher section of any grocery store in the area that I've seen so it makes it very convenient to go shopping. I also went around town to find horseradish root which nobody had but this place does the produce section has to be twice the size as any other. They even have their signature section where you can buy mixing bowls and all kinds a home goods so the place just rocks it is never failed me yet. read more

it is beautiful in here. nothing like our local fry's. very large, spacious, and looks like a high end supermarket. very warm, and cozy if that can be used to describe a supermarket. they entry is always packed with a beautiful setting of plants and seasonal items. their alcohol department is enormous! i come here for a quick pick up after work if we need a milk or bananas. if i'm lucky, they're handing out sushi and i usually eat 4 or 5 because i'm starving all the time. very pretty store. read more

I'm definitely one of those people who hates grocery shopping. Ugh.. What a chore. However... This Fry's makes the experience much less painful, even (gasp!) enjoyable at times! First, it is very very clean. Upon entering you first approach produce which is adjacent to a salad bar, Olive bar, soup bar, fresh pizza to-go, and a wine bar! (They serve beer also). On the days I haven't prepared I'll enjoy a glass of wine while I write out my list. The selection is always changing and the bartender is very knowledgeable. Behind that is where the alcohol aisles are, including a nice prestigious little room of the fancier wines. I'm not that fancy so I haven't explored it but it looks to carry the boutique wines for the more experienced winos. The whole store has so much to offer - good selection of organic, kosher, Mediterranean, Hispanic, fine cheese, real Italian pasta... I feel confident it could compete well with the boutique delis on the area for some of the specialities (maybe not Andreoli deli, but def Chompies). The pharmacy area has replaced my need to stop by Walgreens with the exception of my face wash. The prices on soap, lotion, shave gel, etc are very competitive with Walgreens or Target. The guys at check out snd self check out get things done quickly. Oh, and stop by the in-store Cornerstone Creamery on your way out for some ice cream. It always smells delish!! This is definitely my fave grocery store in the entire Scottsdale area. read more

Bought an apple buy along with lots of other groceries at this store on Thanksgiving morning. By Sunday the pie had mold on it, so I returned it around 11:30 AM. The woman at the "Customer Care" counter was anything but "caring". Her diminutive attitude did not allow for a hello or any kind of greeting after I waited in line for my turn. I told her why I was returning the unused portion of the pie, showing her the visible mold spots. This prompted her to examine the label, apparently searching for a freshness date-which it did not have. She found the item on the receipt and with the friendliness of a rabid skunk, processed my credit. When done, I asked why I was not offered an apology for my inconvenience, prompting her to look baffled and sarcastically say, "oh, I'm sorry." I don't live in Arizona, and luckily, I do not need to shop at stores with employees such as these. read more

When we are at our Scottsdale place, we shop at Fry's. It has everything we need and the price normally is appropriate though there are sometimes surprises. We just had an experience that needs to be reported. I bought eggs because there was notice of a sale good for two days only. When rung up, the regular price appeared. I asked and the checker was told there was a coupon I didn't know of nor did he. He sent me to customer service but I wasn't going to bother for $1.30. I was intercepted by a nice customer service lady who insisted on refunding my overpayment. It impressed me and makes me want to do business with Fry's forever. read more

This is my grocery store of choice and I am in there at least four times a week. Today I experienced something very annoying. A woman was in there shopping and on top of her grocery cart, she had a dog in a cage, that didn't stop barking. You could hear the dog all over the store. In a world that is so crazy now, people actually think it is ok to bring a dog in a cage in a food store. People are taking advantage of this so called service dog industry. There are certainly people who need service dogs, but so many people use it as an excuse to bring their pet with them wherever they go. I was very annoyed that Management let this woman and her dog in its germ carrying cage in an environment that is supposed to be clean and free of germs around the food. read more

I'm always like fry's. I'm a savvy shopper so I find their pricing to be reasonable and their sales to be excellent. This particular location is pretty cool. It's got a little bit more of a beefier deli, there is a built-in Starbucks, floral place and some kind of money laundering business. I think there's even an enterprise Rent-A-Car. I was just kidding about the money laundering place I don't know what it is really.... Store is clean and the employees are always helpful and courteous. read more

This review is long overdue. On the morning of Saturday, March 4, 2017, I was in Scottsdale for the funeral of my sister's husband. It was the morning of the funeral, and my sister still had not bought food, drinks, plates, glasses, etc., for the reception afterwards. So I went across the street from my motel and found Fry's. I don't live in Arizona and had never heard of Fry's, but it was open early and looked promising - and it certainly delivered. I bought over $800.00 worth of stuff and because of guidance from very helpful salespeople, who told me about sales and special deals, I ended up spending less than $500.00. The man in the liquor department was amazingly kind and helpful, helping me choose wines and find the best deals available. The people in the deli department were equally great, and even though I was just buying cold cuts and had not called ahead, they gave me some nice plastic trays to arrange them on. There was a sales woman in the middle of the store who took me from place to place, showing me where things were. And then when I was finally done shopping, the cashier was so nice and helpful, and the young man who helped me out with all the stuff stayed to help me load it into my car. I wish I had gotten everyone's name, because their assistance was above and beyond, especially for an early Saturday morning. Many thanks to everybody at Fry's, who made our sad day a little happier. All of the food was fresh and excellent, and the wine I chose with the salesman's help was just perfect. Much appreciated, every bit of it. read more
