I was recently in the market to update the stereo system and add a security alarm to my 2003 Silverado for an upcoming road trip. I'd never done anything of the sort to any of my vehicles before and told Frank this was my first endeavor. Frank was very patient at advising me to do the best head unit and speaker upgrade within a budget to still allow me the chance to add an alarm system as well. I had a budget in mind when I first spoke with Frank, and he was very understanding, calmly answered all my questions, even after 5 phone calls back and forth. Frank is a sound wizard! I recently paid a lot of money to upgrade my Acura's sound system at another store. After a few weeks it sounded horrible. I brought my car to Frank based on his few, but positive Yelp reviews. Frank showed me where the speaker connections had come apart and the other inferior applications that were done. I came over here because I had a subwoofer installed into my car and it suddenly just stopped working. I originally got it from fry's electronics and I tried to go back to frys midway during Covid (so I'd say like maybe around may/june) and they said they had no technicians working. I was getting kinda pissed because frys electronics never pick up their phones for some reason and I had to drive 20 mins just to be told that they can't fix my subwoofer. So I ended up finding FS audio near my house so I decided to make a call and see if I could get my subwoofer fixed. I got a call back and they said I could come over and get it checked out. The guy who helped me out was nice and checked out my subwoofer and told me that it was just the wiring I had to fix. He told me that I had a cheap kind of fuse that was installed and I would had to replace it frequently, but he also told me that there was a different kind of fuse thing I could get so I wouldn't have to replace the fuse frequently so I decided to get that instead. It was a pretty quick fix. It was worth my trip and I would suggest this place to anyone who needs their subwoofers to get checked up on. read more

So I thought my speaker was going bad as it was cutting in and out and was in the San Gabriel area so I decided to try out FS Audio. They took out the problem speaker and ran it through a test amp and it worked fine. He then checked the speaker connections at the amp and discovered the shop that installed the amp and speakers left the insulation on the speaker wire and tightened down the screw to break through the insulation so no bare wire was really going into the speaker input so when the wire was warm the speaker worked. He also noticed the right speaker was on the left fader and the left was on the right fader, it was all fixed and I was very happy I didn't need to replace any speakers or amps read more
