I recently went to a friend's house for a hi-fi listening session, and when I came home and turned on my own system, I realized something had to change. After a deep dive of research, I landed on the Wharfedale Lintons, and Audio Element was the only place where I could actually hear them in person. Brian was incredibly helpful and patient as my wife and I worked through some favorite tracks to make sure they were the right fit. Needless to say, we walked out with the Lintons. Once we got them home, it quickly became clear our amp wasn't up to the task. More research led us to the perfect pairing: a Rega. Jesus happened to have exactly what we needed and was kind enough to hold it while we rushed down to grab it. The result? Spine-tingling, goosebump-inducing fun listening to music again. Our system finally feels alive. The service here is top-notch. They genuinely listen, guide you without pressure, and clearly care about helping you find the right setup. Safe to say, Audio Element is now my go-to for all things hi-fi.

Chris stayed on the phone with me for 2 hours (I am not local) and was able to guide me through set-up, care for my system, and even noticed that the red cap from the needle broke off and needed to be removed (pictured). He gave me recommendations on how to get it out, waited for me to try them, and sent me a link for the correct needle replacement. Im able to listen to the radio and my tapes now, just waiting for the needle and I can finally play my records. His ability to walk me through the set-up and minor repairs, without even touching the system, is a true testament to his knowledge and skill. Thank you!

These folks seemed interested in selling me a consultation for a couple hundred dollars rather than trust helping me and winning my trust, it seemed they were concerned if the helped me understand what would be a good solution I would leave the store and buy online. That was not the plan and once I figure out what I'm looking for I'll probably be back to buy local, as I'm a big supporter of that concept. My suggestion in the future is customer comes first, build the trust and loyalty will follow.

"World famous?" The name alone should have been a red flag for the sheer ego running this place…read more I was looking to have some extensive work done on my '99 4Runner Limited. Anyone who builds off-road vehicles knows that finding the right shop is a niche and personal choice--you want a team you can trust with your rig. I had originally received a quote from a shop in San Diego, but when I realized there was a shop right here in my own backyard in Burbank, I wanted to try and keep my business local. I reached out and sent them the itemized list of work from the previous shop to see what they could do. What followed was some of the most unprofessional behavior I've ever experienced. The guy who called me back came out swinging, practically yelling at me over the phone. He was incredibly defensive, snapping, "Just so you know, we are $275 an hour for labor, and I see you cut this invoice out from someone else's estimate. We are more expensive than them." He sounded deeply insecure and visibly furious that a customer would dare to shop around for the best fit. He later left a voicemail asking me to call back. When I did, a different guy answered the phone and spoke to me like I was a debt collector harassing him. When I answered his question about who I was looking for and our previous conversation, he rudely interrupted me mid-sentence, blurting out, "OKAY, WELL I HAVE ANOTHER CALL SO..." and literally just trailed off into silence. I just hung up. Why would I ever let people who treat human beings this way get anywhere near my vehicle? How does a business survive operating like this? I had a $12,000 job ready to go for tire replacements, a suspension overhaul, front bumper replacement, roof rack and heavy maintenance work. Instead of securing a massive project, these clowns let their egos and hostile communication skills ruin the transaction. Out of principle, take your hard-earned money and your rig somewhere else. Go to a shop where people actually practice basic kindness, respect, and professional communication. The way this entire crew came across was like a bunch of snakes. Save yourself the headache and go to another off-road establishment. And know that this place charges an hourly labor rate of $275 an hour.

I needed a new stereo system in my '94 Volvo. The original factory stereo was barely working. I called around and received less than cordial greetings and curt information over the phone. When I called Audio Crafters and spoke to Arthur, it was like talking to an old friend. Arthur told me to bring my car in and he would give me the best deal to fit my needs. He installed a beautiful Pioneer system complete with USB/BT/Aux and microphone for less than $300. There was a problem in my rear speakers. Instead of trying to sell me new ones, Arthur followed the wiring until he found the problem (after having to remove the entire back seat). A bracket screw for the trunk CD changer had been drilled right through the speaker wires. After fixing that, he also made sure all the other speakers worked properly, adjusted the eq to my liking and showed me how to operate all my extras through my new stereo system. I really like the fact I don't have to find my phone-it rings through my speakers. All I have to do is push the volume button on my stereo and speak, then push the botton again to hang up. What a great deal! I also had some Harman/Kardon computer speakers in my trunk that had recently quit on me and asked if he could take a look and left them with Arthur. Less that a week later he called and told me I could pick them up-they were fixed. He replaced a part inside and they work perfectly again. The nominal fee he charged is nowhere near what a new set would have cost. I am so pleased with the service I received and have already referred several of my friends and co-workers. I can honestly say that Arthur will go out of his way to make his customers happy and give them a great deal. He owns his own shop and stands by his work. The last thing he said to me was, if I had any problem whatsoever, come back and he will take care of it. That says it all. You can't go wrong here! Thanks again. read more

I couldn't be happier with the work Arthur did on my 2024 Porsche Cayman GTS 4.0. I had him install my amplifier and Focal speakers, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Arthur did an amazing job with the installation. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, meticulous, and clearly takes pride in his work. With a car like the Cayman GTS 4.0, I wanted someone who would treat the vehicle with care and make sure everything was installed properly--not just someone who could simply get the equipment working. Arthur absolutely delivered. The sound quality is incredible, and the system sounds like a completely different car. Everything is clean, properly integrated, and performs exactly the way I was hoping it would. The attention to detail in the installation really stood out to me. I wasn't happy with the guy at Best Buy. Not very friendly, the price was too high and he quoted me 2-3 hours. I found this on Yelp. Arthur is an honest guy. He didn't have the part in stock. He ordered it. I came in a couple of days later and within 20 minutes, beautiful sound was coming out of the speakers. Very clean, professional job! I highly recommend him. I'll definitely be going back as we discussed ways to improve the sound and I enjoyed the education, learning about sound deadening and how to get the most out of my budget. He's really cool and super excited to talk about cars and audio, where you can tell the guy loves what he does and likes sharing it with people. Jamie is a great guy. I met him about 20 years ago and had him do some work. 1 of the things he…read moredid was to put a short shifter into my car. I was having some issues with it and I got in touch with him. I didn't have an appointment but he said to come on over and he would take a look. I had another shop look at it and they told me I needed a new short shifter. Jamie and his assistant looked at it all morning and he figured out it was just an adjustment is what it needed. It now shifts fine. Jamie is a great guy and went out of his way to help me. He is an audio shop and if you need a new radio, want speakers put in, whatever audio needs you need, you need to go to Rawlings Audio.
