Despite opting against his recommendation, he still installed my subwoofer with surprising expertise. I've been lazy in doing my own car work lately and he was able to disassemble my back seat quicker than I could, and even knew the exact process and points where all the hidden bolts were. This is actually a feat because the back seats recline, have massaging mechanisms, heating elements, and built-in cooler/fridge. He quoted 2 hours but finished it in just about 1 hour as I was on my lunch break. The labor price was comparable to other San Gabriel auto shops. He doesn't speak much and I was worried at first, but the transaction turned out to be fair, the installation top-notch, and I'm satisfied with how it turned out.

I also avoided the store because I had purchased a cheap car alarm system there 5 years ago and the metal contacts in the key-fob buttons would always break. Again, it was cheap, so I got what I paid for. To my surprise, Long's sold the USA Spec Ipod interface for $125 ($150 if you want installation) and got it delivered to the shop in an hour. The low price, along with the speedy process, was too good not to write a review about this place. No BS and honest service - two things I can appreciate!
