Don't do it. At least not in Florida. See other reviews regarding solar in Florida. The incentives…read morejust aren't there. Sure they are professional, and you feel good about going solar but you will not make money on the deal. In Maryland it was a no brainer with incentives and credits. Here you will stuck with an expensive Loan plus FPS lobbied and won to make you pay a set fee. If you are going to shell out for a battery... and go independent.. maybe .. maybe but otherwise just say no. Don't be fooled. It's not really FPS's fault... but they make you feel you are getting a great deal, you aren't, you will almost for certain lose much more then you expect for the entirety of your loan. It is a Florida state issue. But unless you can change the states laws to support greener energy, you will lose a lot of money. But fpl does have a decent deal on buying credits within their own ground solar (interesting right...) currently though looks the best chance of saving any money.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with PES Solar has been an absolute nightmare…read more They installed solar panels on my 17-year-old roof, and now I have leaks EVERYWHERE. When I bought the panels, the sales guy and Austin specifically told me I could have the panels removed and reinstalled one time at no charge if needed. Now that I'm trying to do exactly that, they are REFUSING to honor their promise and want to charge me $15,000! This company is dishonest, and they are clearly only interested in making money, not in standing behind their product or promises. It has been one issue after another, and I deeply regret ever going with PES Solar. I have since spoken with numerous other customers who have had the exact same problems--leaks, broken promises, and outrageous costs to fix their mistakes. I've also learned that PES Solar has multiple lawsuits against them for similar issues. If you value your home and your money, STAY AWAY from this company. I wish I had done more research before going with them because this has been a costly and frustrating experience. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your solar needs!

They are responsive - phone calls are always answered or, at worst, returned the same day. They are polite and professional - and we always get straight answers. There has never been an "upsell" - we've never been told that we need a new roof. The message has always been - this is what's broken and here's how we fix it. I always get a detailed (and understandable) report, usually with arial photos taken by drone. Work has always been done on time and professionally. Once repairs were made we've never had a problem in the same general area. Finally, Mike is the consummate professional. He is a true professional and gentleman. I cannot offer higher praise.

Today (Palm Sunday) we had a leak in the part of the roof Mike hadn't originally installed. I gingerly texted Mike to ask his advice. What I got back was well more than anything I could have expected. Mike called to tell me his supervisor, Travis, was already en route to our house. I then got a call from Travis saying he was twenty minutes out. 18 minutes later, he was at the door. He reviewed the leak inside, got his ladder and climbed up the roof and within ten minutes, was back down and showing me pictures of where he'd determined a dryer vent had let water in. Mike called me back to tell me he had a team he could send. Now. I told him it's Palm Sunday, I don't want to take your guys away from their families. Mike said, they are busy all week, this is my best chance to get this fixed. It won't take more than four hours. I agreed and within an hour, there they were at the door, ready to go. They cleared the tile, laid proper under layers - three layers in total. Then buttoned it all up again and were done within two and a half hours. I got a full set of pictures from Mike explaining every step of what was done. All this would be great on a weekday. But a Sunday? Palm Sunday? I am just in awe. From a customer perspective, it's like having a choice of hiring superheros like Mike and his team, or saying no thank you - I prefer the usual sheisters and snake oil salesmen that typically make up the roofing business. You can spin the wheel and take your chances - but for me - I just feel damn lucky to have found someone who provides this level of service and this quality of work all for a really modest price.
