I asked Chateau Sept Renovations to come out and provide a quote and to explain if the bathroom had any potential. Jose came out like the next day (IMPRESSIVE)! He explained what needed to be done, how long the job should take (unless they ran into issues with the home being this old) and all we needed to do is pick a day when they could get started. Since I did not have a clue as to what I was doing, I gave Chateau Sept Renovations, full control over renovating the bathroom. What I mean by that is they picked the tile and the flooring; we picked the paint. Even with authorizing them to create at will, Jose still sent several pictures of flooring and tile to ensure we were included in the process and to make us feel like we were truly getting what we wanted. When the project started, Jose and Matt came out to get everything in order. Products, materials and supplies started arriving at my home, so Jose and Matt created a staging area in the front of the house (my living room) ONLY because the day the project started a storm popped up and I mean it was storming. Although the interior of my home was used as a storage area, they covered the floor and everything around the supplies to ensure my carpet and furniture was protected. As the project progressed, Matt treated my home as if it were his own. When he didn't like how something turned out, he wouldn't leave until it was done the way he thought it should look based on what we requested. I mean the attention to detail surpassed my expectation. An example of that would be when the paint dried, he did not like how the dry wall appeared so the section he had a problem with, he sanded and painted again. I thought the room looked wonderful, but it was not where he wanted it to be. When a contractor takes that kind of pride in his work, then I will always use them in the future. My house is over 80 years old so they took their time to understand the potential problems with upgrading a house that old. Matt and Jose were transparent when they advised the potential problems when renovating older homes. They were correct, we ran into an issue with the plumbing and like professionals, they advised us of the issues, developed a plan and executed without even delaying the completion. It was certainly one of the best experiences I've had regarding contract work in a very long time. I will certainly use them for all my contracting needs.

I was very apprehensive going into this project but Jose was there every step of the way. He helped us with everything from deciding the layout of every room right down to the end when the last doorstop was installed. Jose was a joy to work with, even when we threw some ridiculous requests his way. He never said "I can't do that." Instead he would say "Sure thing. Let me figure out a way that I can do that for you." If you are thinking of doing any kind of home renovation, do yourself a favor and call Jose first. Then see if you can find anyone who can measure up to him. I'll just bet you can't.

Once that occurred, we got another company to demo the shower and the 24 X 48 tiles literally fell off the walls. I see that you changed the name and filed for a business license on 12/31/2024 (after you were last on our property mid-December). Congratulations. Remember in the state of GA, when you don't do the work yourself (since your knees are bad, remember?), you need a contractor's license for jobs over $2500.

Again, it was COVID and labor and supplies were expensive. No problem, let's get it done. He dodged me for the summer as he was overloaded and it never got done. Again, because of his reviews and demeanor, I decided to give him one last shot: he quoted the deck twice... I've already run around - twice - getting the samples he recommended... all he needs to do is show up and knock it out. They wanted payment, but I refused to pay until the job was complete as stated in their contract. That evening the owner of the company called me with his family in the car actually screaming at me, cussing me out for not paying. I didn't back down, and refused to pay until the job was complete. The next day he sent out someone to finish the stairs, I paid, and swore to never use this company again. I advise you to avoid as well.
