Every repair I've had done here was completed correctly the first time, and usually within a day or two. I think the longest I've had to wait was 3 days, but that was because it took that long to get a part. Geyer's provides an estimate up front, but in my experience the estimate tends to be on the higher end. I've always been pleasantly surprised to be charged less than the initial estimate. Speaking of which, they also offer a military discount for soldiers and veterans, which takes a little extra off your total. They've also been really good about communicating, calling with the estimate and again when the job is completed. Everyone is courteous and helpful and takes time to explain what needs to be done or what was done if you have questions.

Before I had my oil change done at Watertown Auto Repair, I asked the guy at the desk how much it would cost for a full synthetic oil change for my 2012 Toyota Yaris sedan. He asked me how much oil my car took. I told him 4 quarts. After the hundreds of oil changes that I have had done on my car over the last ten years, I knew exactly how much oil my car takes. He told me $52 before taxes. After my oil change was done and he gave me the bill, it said $58.95 before taxes. I asked him why it cost more than the original estimate. He pointed to the bill and told me that it took 4.5 quarts. Obviously, I knew that this was not true. I looked in my manual but it did not have the amount of oil needed. It was not a repair manual. So, I went online. Over and over reputable websites stated that my car takes 3.9 quarts or, as I said, 4 quarts. Finally, I found the coup de grâce, the actual manual at Toyota with the oil specifications. Funny, Toyota seems to think that my car only takes 3.9 quarts of oil. Since they manufactured the car, I would think that they know how much oil it takes. Watertown Auto Repair must know something that the manufacturer doesn't or he lied and cheated me. Of course he did. Check out my images. I even provided the URLs. It might seem like a small thing, just a few dollars, but if I can't trust Watertown Auto Repair with a small job, I can't trust them with a large job either. Next time, I could be overcharged $1,000. That will never happen because I will never go back there again. Of course, I already told him that at the time. Everyone I came in contact with was straight forward. Ellis who I had been corresponding with for a few weeks is a true gentleman. Paperwork processed expediently by a pleasant young lady that was actually the owner's daughter and was back on road in my new car in under 2 hours, with no games at all regarding trade/price. Had a follow up issue regarding spare key which was resolved by them a few weeks later by sending new key and a check to program at a LR dealer. My local Toyota dealer could not look at my truck for 3 weeks. So I called Waite Toyota they said…read morethey would work it in as soon as possible. 2 weeks later with little to no communication unless I called for an update..they looked at the issue at hand. The truck was in limp mode. Finally I recieved a call at closing time on a Friday saying they couldn't fix it due to a wiring issue in the dash. Parts were nonlonger available threw Toyota. Wierd. That being said the truck was a 2006 tundra SR5. So with lots of disappointment asked dif there were any options for me to find the part. No help there. I was also informed of a hole in the frame next to the bulk head. With disbelief I responded not possible it was just inspected 11 months ago. The sticker on the windshield showed an inspection due in a few weeks. Knowing my truck would not pass inspection they continue to charge me for labor hours. 3 hours labor plus tax on a vehicle they knew would not pass inspection in a couple weeks. I paid the bill and had a toe service go get the truck. 1 hour away. Upon picking up my truck one of the service people came out and told the man picking up the truck that mice had gotten under the dash and ate through all the wires. Also proceeded to tell him there were several holes in the frame. The gentlemen who picked my truck is called me and asked if I knew about these issues. Of course that is not the story I got from service when the bill was due. I brewed for a week over the integregratity of this service department I had never dealt with prior. On Monday I called and asked to speak with the top manager asking why his people carried out a 3 hour labor charge on a vehicle they knew wouldn't pass inspection in a few short weeks and asked for a refund. Dan was his name and said let me investigate this and i will call you back tomorrow. 2 days have gone by and i have not heard back. I guess the moral to this story is momey definitely a prior not the customer. If i had gotten an hinest call from a concerned department i would have said stop tight there dont do anything its not worth it..but noone called me and they must get that teachings from the manager who never called me back. ​I have to add the rollback driver took photos of the rotten frame and sent them to me. It would have been nice if the service department could have sent me the pictures and gave me some advice not to put any money into this vehicle.

My husband and I tried to trade in a vehicle we owned that had a couple issues (we knew beforehand & had a quote on how much it'd cost to fix it) and they low balled us on a trade in price. The manager had said he searched what the NADA value was for our vehicle and told us it was only worth $1,000 when that was in fact a lie, and it was worth $3,500+ more. They wouldn't budge on giving us a better deal for their Jeep we looked at or a better trade in value for our vehicle. 2. There was a couple different vehicles that we had looked at and done CARFAXs on and two of them had come up that they had been in accidents. When we got there, the sales lady showing us vehicles said there was an apparent agreement with the owner (I believe) that they weren't allowed to sell vehicles that had been in accidents. Yet they still have at least two for sale currently. not fishy at all 3. They were extremely unprofessional and the sales lady was wildly inappropriate. The manager scribbled prices on a blank paper and typed up his own paper on what their NADA Jeep value was instead of an actual price from the online website. The sales lady kept saying inappropriate things about being promiscuous/asking if my husband and I gotten "frisky" together because he has some scratches on his neck (made from scratching a bug bite the previous night). Overall they weren't willing to work or budge with us price wise whatsoever, they were unprofessional, inappropriate, and not much of a help at all. My husband tried to contact someone afterwards to talk to someone above the manager we had seen that day and he didn't do anything either. The only good thing to come out of this was finding a different dealership and getting a great vehicle that was in better condition, a better price, and the $4,500 trade in value our vehicle deserved without having to negotiate with them at all.

We took a drive there one Saturday and Brandon immediately welcomed us and made us feel at ease. There were fresh coffee and pastry and the staff (Jay and Carvlle) were also very professional and courteous. After just couple of hours, we were able to make a deal on a beautiful 2011 Honda Pilot with low mileage and one year warranty. Brandon never pressured us and he was very accommodating. My MINI Countryman had a corroded ground strap, which caused additional problems with the car. I initially sent the car to Good Year, which replaced the ground strap and battery (which had died when the ground strap shorted). After these repairs, the car still would not start, and some of the codes it was throwing were dealer codes that Good Year could not read. I contacted the "area's only dedicated European import specialists" and asked if they had the software that would allow them to read the dealer codes, which the operator assured me they did. Since my only other option was a thousand dollar tow to the actual dealer in Rochester, I decided to give a local business a try. So first problem, they lied They can't read the dealer codes, which I found out after paying to have the car towed there. So the one reason that I chose to go with this garage turned out to not be true. And it gets worse from there. They had the car for two weeks and still had no idea what was wrong with it. They never communicated anything about the progress of their work, which I suspect was because there was no progress whatsoever. Every phone contact I had with them bordered on hostile, like it was unreasonable for me to wonder what was happening with my car. I was told multiple times that there would be news by "the end of the day" or "the end of business tomorrow." There was never a callback on any of those deadlines. Often, they completely ignore their phone. I attempted several times to reach them one day with no answer at all, after hearing nothing from them for several days when I had been told, once again, there would be a callback before "the end of the day" two days prior. My housemate, who also relies on this car, asked to try, and they answered on the first ring. He had a conversation with them where he answered some questions, as he was the one actually driving the car when it broke down, and I was told by their operator that the information he provided was very helpful. Meanwhile, what information I could get out of them was they were trial-and-erroring their way through my fuse box, then said it was the starter but weren't sure about that, then that they had no definitive diagnostics and were "still testing." Unbeknownst to me, after two weeks of this run around, my housemate called in an attempt to find out what was happening, and their operator, as seems to be her main MO, berated him on the phone for calling at all. An argument ensued, which was unfortunate, however, the argument began when Meg (their operator) immediately lit into him for calling repeatedly (when they had been ignoring the phone again), and told him that he had no right to ask about anything to do with the car, despite being an adult member of the household who also uses the vehicle.. Unfortunately, he's not as calm as I am (though I think few adults would remain calm when being shouted over when trying to find out simple information about the progress being made on their vehicle), and the argument that ensued ended with me getting a call that they wanted the car towed out immediately with the accusation that I had somehow put him up to calling. I was told that questioning how nothing has been taken care of in two weeks was an "attitude." It's not an attitude; it's a fact. Then they invoiced me for almost $200 for "diagnostics." Keeping in mind, the closest thing they had to a diagnosis of anything, after two weeks, was that the car doesn't start. I knew that without any training. If you read through their online reviews, you'll see that they are extremely efficient at immediately responding to any negative reviews, by casting aspersions on the reviewer, often over things that have nothing to do with what was said in the review (at one point, they actually spent the bulk of their response telling the reviewer that their car, which the garage had spent three MONTHS on for some simple repairs, was a lousy car and they worked on much better cars). If they were even half as diligent and efficient in actually providing service on the vehicles as they are responding to their multiple one-star reviews, they might actually be a decent garage. You would think that anyone with half an ounce of common sense might stop to think, if they have to refute so many bad reviews, that maybe they ought to READ the reviews and re-think their approach. This, apparently, has not occurred to them yet. This place is an all-clown circus with no idea what they are doing. They make big promises up front to get you to come in, and have no ability to actually follow through on them.
