Service was friendly and efficient -- the woman at the counter could go right to the shelf where the white chia was located and the price was OK (it's very popular these days, it seems, so it's not inexpensive). If this location isn't near where you live, DO call them before going to save yourself a wasted trip. But if you're looking for supplements you should be happy camper here or at Emerald Forest! Low sugar and relatively low carbs and when I get some add ins very helpful when you can't eat. I took a short break when I could finally eat solid foods again and was in the middle and of moving but missed my Gladiator. It really does matter who makes your smoothie and on both my visits, my smoothie tasted really good. My go to is the chocolate Gladiator with peanut butter, cocoa, and banana. Yummy! On my last visit, I went in just a few minutes before close and felt bad about it but the younger lady working there was pleasant and had no problem making my smoothie, waiting on someone in the drive in window making açaí bowls, and even one more customer who walked in right after me. The location was sparkling clean and decorated cute for the upcoming Valentine's Day holiday. This is the closest location to my house and I'll be back soon!

I love this store because it's the nearest store to go to return Amazon products. It also has a wide variety of meat, selections, cheese selections, and an amazing hot bar. You can get food items ranging from pizza to fried chicken to Indian curry plus incredible soups like minestrone and clam chowder. They have a wide variety of salads and cold food items like Sushi and sandwiches as well to offer. I recently checked out their cake selection and was blown away by the variety of decorative cupcakes they have started to carry. There is a cute little space near the entrance where you can enjoy the hot/cold bar food items. Apart from the above selections, they also have tons of frozen products, dairy items, vegetables, holistic medicines like supplements, clean skincare and makeup, and so on available for purchase. However, if I compare it with other stores, the pricing does tend to be on the higher side. That's why I do not do all my grocery shopping here. it's always clean. The staff is friendly approachable, and very helpful. If not for groceries, I would definitely recommend you to going in and trying their hot bar because you wouldn't regret it!! So I stopped in at the Emerald Forest during lunch one day. I was pretty sure this local health food and supplement store would carry it. They did have mineral salts deodorant -- two varieties in fact. The health and beauty section was probably the best-stocked part of the store, so I browsed around in the toothpastes, soaps and lotions for awhile. Every product I picked up was cruelty-free, and most were organic too. I made my way through the rest of the store more quickly because unlike the health and beauty aides, the other sections weren't quite as well-stocked, that is until I reached the vitamins and supplements. Emerald Forest's selection rivals GNC in this area, which must be their bread and butter. If you're used to the robust offerings at Whole Foods you won't be impressed by Emerald Forest. But if you just need the odd jar of amino acids or a big bottle of multi-vitamin and mineral supplements with whole food concentrates, they can hook you right up.

Their selection of herbal teas weren't bad with a full line of Celestial Seasonings, Yogi and Stash teas. Unfortunately, I have had the pleasure of experiencing Trader Joe's and that makes me almost shy away from any other place because their selection, pricing and service always outshine the rest, including Whole Foods or Wild Oats. For small shops, I always look for quality, selection and the friendliness of the workers, all of which were lacking substantially at Emerald. Not my kind of jewel.

The item I purchased rang up at a higher price than what it said on the shelf. Never a good sign. Everything was really expensive, except for a few things on sale - like, I managed to find a single-serve yogurt on sale for $2.50 instead of $4.59. They have some bulk herbs and teas, but the selection is very, very limited. They have a couple water dispensers in back which is nice, but there's no price listed anywhere. So syrupy and brightly flavored I now understood the glaring lack of bread cubes. Who needs them? The White Peach was like jam. I was instantly thinking of pouring it over ice cream, or ... ? It turned my world upside down. My budget permitted a purchase of just one bottle this trip, but you can rest assured I will be coming back to add to my collection. If you're curious, I chose the Lime Jalepeno Balsamic as my first bottle. All I add is a little oil, salt & pepper and I have a salad dressing that knocks my socks off!
