They're usually really good I've ordered from them a few times it's nice to have a healthy food place to order from. But the last time I ordered from them I found a hair in a quesadilla and it definitely wasn't mine because it was literally inside the quesadilla when I took a bite and it was too long and a different color to be mine. I called to ask if I could have a refund or something and the girl on the phone told me it was impossible there was hair in it and she told me I could come in with the picture and they could "see what they could do". Honestly the whole situation was super awkward because how are you going to tell me it's impossible for there to be hair in my food when I'm literally telling you I found it and to make matters worse she said their chef is bald so that's ever grosser because who's hair was that. Being that the lion's share of the reviews for this place are complaining about Grubhub's incompetence, I decided to give this place a shot and... well; the unfortunately named "Fuel Fever" is no Natureworks. To start with the good, the space was clean and well put together, and the service was fine. Strangely, however, everything is set up like a traditional sit-in restaurant. complete with table menus; but you need to order at the counter. Being that this was a low carb day for me, I ordered an apparently popular item: The Half Chicken with 2 sides. My two sides were "Veggies" and "Spinach". The food was below average. The chicken tasted as if it were straight out of a supermarket rotisserie, complete with the vague, understated sense of nausea after eating it. The veggies were in an even more miserable state, boiled... Or maybe microwaved? The carrots were far from fresh and had some white crust on them. My spinach side came half cooked and was equally flavorless. How hard is it to sautee spinach with a little bit of garlic? Apparently, too hard. I am SO happy to have a healthy and delicious Seamless option in Staten Island!!!!!! I went online last night, resolved to just get the best I could get from the very few options and BAM a newbie on the block. I was stoked to see so many juices and vegetables and healthy options in general. I got a side of steamed vegetables, a side of brown rice and air fried wings with buffalo sauce. I just walked out because I went there hoping to have a good healthy meal, however I walked out after 10 minutes of being ignored by the staff. I walked in sat at a table waited 10 minutes where no one on the staff approached me to take my order so I walked up to the counter to order and the girl behind the counter continued to ignore me and take an order on the phone while a second girl also behind the counter washed dishes and also ignored me. I just received my order at work and I'm not happy at all. The smoothie I chose (mango, peach and spinach) is extremely bland. I also asked that they add honey for sweetener and I'm positive there is no honey in this smoothie at all. not worth $7 especially since I paid extra money for them to add extra mango and all I taste is spinach and soy milk. The wrap came soggy and falling apart, I was unable to hold it to eat it. I asked for no tomatoes and there were tomatoes throughout. The wrap itself had good flavor but they need to work on their delivery execution. I feel this meal was not worth $20....maybe more like $15 at best. I doubt I will try or recommend this place again. Everything was delicious. The value was unbeatable. It all felt healthy too. This place is really good! So many options. I had a hard time choosing. I did end up getting the falafel wrap and was very pleased with my choice. They have a lot of juice options as well for different health issues. Inside is clean and there's plenty of seating at tables or a counter area. Being from NJ I can't stand that there's no parking! I was nervous because I was pretty sure the place was small and no one I knew ever spoke about it. but I was so happy when my food arrived in about a half hour and saw that the portion size of the food was amazing for the price.
