You have no idea how excited I am that SI has panino. I used to live near the Brooklyn one and moving to SI just got better! Cant believe that they have one here to satisfy all of my panini cravings !! Sandwiches are always huge and filled with meat and veggies. I always get the boars Ham and the p35. The sauce on p35 is so refreshing and with the avocado is to die for. Fries were a bit salty and lacked the truffle flavor but still really good and crispy even after being in the bag and cold. Not sure I think I got them on a bad dad. I have been meaning to try this place for a while. My panini was dry and tasteless - no olive oil , seasoning. I got the chicken mozzarella broccoli rab. Thought at least the broccoli would taste sautéed, it was not. Had to season it on my own at home. I visited the Brooklyn location frequently but I refuse to ever eat here again. I had a horrific experience when I first moved to Staten Island. I ordered food to be delivered and I waited patiently for it to arrive. I called the restaurant several times and I was told that the delivery had been completed. I insisted that it wasn't. The delivery person insisted that he had delivered it to the correct address. When I asked for details he proceeded to curse me out and hang up on me. Several hours later a neighbor knocked on my door with my food. Needless to say that it was delivered to the wrong address, it was ice cold and no longer needed because I had eaten something else. When I called the restaurant to complain no one took my complaint seriously and my money wasn't refunded. They won't be getting anymore business from me. read more

I ordered delivery from here while working at the Staten Island hospital for the day. Food came in around thirty minutes. I ordered their truffle fries and a Nutella crepe with bananas. For the crepe, they don't put the fillings inside the dough. They fold it up and just put the Nutella and bananas on top. Felt more like a pancake than it did crepe. The parmesan truffle fries. I opened the fries and there was almost no Parmesan on it. Small pieces throughout the container, so I basically got a large order of fries. Came here Saturday afternoon for a quick lunch with a friend. There were 3 tables seated and the host told us to just pick a table. The service was really quick and the waitress was really nice. We ordered a large iced coffee, parmesan truffle fries, the p18 for me and p16 for him. The coffee came out immediately and was great. The highlight of the meal was the parmesan truffle fries. They were super crunchy and just overall delicious. A very generous amount of parmesan. I do wish there was more of a truffle taste tho, my friend even mentioned that he couldn't taste it at all. But even without much truffle flavor, so good. And the sauce that it came with complimented the fries so well. My p18 was great, you really can't go wrong with prosciutto. Its my go to when I order online. When you dine in, they also give you a little salad with cherry tomatoes which I thought was nice. My friend got the p16, the smoked salmon. It looked great. I had a bite but didn't like it since I dont do well with goat cheese, but my friend liked it so thats all that matters. I used to work in Brooklyn and loved the Panino Rustico out there. This location is a little bigger but has the same good food. We started with the burrata and the bruschetta. The bread was the star of the show in the bruschetta dish. The burrata was ok but I would skip it next time. For lunch I had the roast beef with sun dried tomato paninni. So good and cooked just right. The bread again made this sandwich next level and it had the perfect crisp to it. Prices are reasonable and service was good. Can't think of one bad thing to say about Panino Rustico. This is an excellent addition to this cramped little strip mall! Parking in the lot can be tight but still found. There is also plenty of street parking on the nearby streets. Watch the street signs, meter maids were out in force on a Saturday afternoon. Service was excellent from the minute we stepped in the door. The restaurant is clean and spacious. There is a nice little bar in the center too. I came here with my husband and kids and everything we all ordered was excellent. Me and my daughter both ordered crepes. The crepe was thin and delicious and the fresh fruit on top was perfect. My boys had sunny-side up eggs with bacon which the kitchen sent out like a smiley face for them (very cute). My husband had a tuna panini which was delicious. We also ordered the seven layer cookie milkshake (not on the menu but on their Instagram page), espresso and iced coffee....all delicious! We will definitely be back! read more

Delicious couldn't even tell the bread was gluten free their coffee is also really good and you get a huge cup with refills for less than 3 $ I used to go to filoncino which is also really good but they stopped their gluten free options so it was really great to find this place read more

This is a completely honest review for a place that I do like, and are familiar with from the Brooklyn location years ago. Now first, the food is good. Most likely you're going to be getting a panini obviously and you will find that are are on the higher end all between $8-$11. The thing that bothers me is that they don't come with a side, or any type of small add on at least. Now if you want to order a separate side, salad or appetizer they are going to run you at least 5-6 bucks, add a drink and you're pushing 20 or more. The last thing I got is pictured below, P35 priced at 10.99. As you can see or most people would notice that is store bought microwaveable bacon, atop basic sliced turkey and some avocado. Now I would say this takes tops $3 or $4 to make being generous. So at this 11 dollar price I would expect some real bacon? Never had breakfast here but is this what comes with eggs? I hope not. I would be more comfortable paying that price if I got maybe a small side salad or just something maybe a dipping cup comes with it. With the ingredients being used it makes it nothing special, most deli's now have these paninis for half the price, or most pizza places as well. Now another thing, also popular on this island is this place is cash only. So if you miss the little hand written post it on the door you will be caught off guard. But they do have an atm inside which in my opinion makes it look like a nightclub set up, kind of ruins the look. Now I spent 40 dollars last time here for 3 paninis and had to use the ATM to take out money. I would guess at least every person walking in here spends at minimum $5 for just a drink, anyone buying food is $10 or more. So is it that hard to accept cards? It's 2018 and it's enough with the hiding money and wanting to be cash only. It's an inconvenience to your customer and is obviously fishy. So I will give 3 stars for the inconveniences listed above, but food and service is good. Never delivered so can't say about that. The place is cute and decent location but at this point it's another over priced nothing special Staten Island hyped up place that will eventually wear out as many places do out here, unless you keep up with trends and make yourself different from the rest. I absolutely loved this place!!! Came in on a Wednesday night from a flight from Florida. I was exhausted and hungry. It was lovely in here. My husband & I ordered an appetizer of grilled veggies with goat cheese and fig glaze. It was so good and we devoured it! His dinner was a prosciutto & fresh mozzarella panini with tomato fresh basil pesto. I had a gigantic salad of arugula, fresh sliced parmigiana cheese, cranberries, cherry tomatoes and a lovely, mild lemon and oil dressing. Just perfect.
