    Happy Hour Menu 4/1/24

We popped in here to watch some of the women's march madness tourney and Fuel came through with a solid happy hour and MANY TVs showing the game, including a monster TV in their very large outdoor patio. It was a rare nice day so we enjoyed the game and our drinks and food outside. There was good afternoon sun but umbrellas as well for those that can't handle the extra vitamin D. The service was super friendly and attentive. We got a happy hour Bags of Gold ($6) just to try them. They actually tasted kind of healthy (lots of spinach), which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I was just hoping for a little more gold less green! The half pizza and side salad is a great deal at $16 and both the Thai and Fuel pizzas were delicious! Pros Good beer selection Huge outdoor area Many TVs for your sports viewing pleasure Reasonable prices Friendly staff Cons None come to mind hence 5 stars! Check this spot out on a nice day!

    Lots of TVs

Awesome venue to watch a game! Lots of TVs, servers, friendly people, delicious drinks, good food, private parking lot and an all-around great experience for a first-timer. I'll be back!!!

Several rows of bar seating for a good view of TVs.

The definition of a good sports bar is easy, amble and comfortable seating, lots of monitors in a variety of location set on a good mix of channels, great food and friendly service. Fuel checks all those boxes with a bold X. Staff are friendly and helpful; no one ever seems in a bad mood. You can sit at several bars or a multitude of booths; every seat in the house has a great view of a range of screens so a girl doesn't get neck cramps--I just hate that! The food is very good for a sports bar and beverages are amble--love that! There is a good variety of beers on tap and they have a parking lot with free parking--score! After a long day, Hubby had the Asian salad with shrimp and get this--the chef actually cuts the tails off the shrimp for you. NOBODY does that! I just hate getting my entree and I have to spend the first five minutes of the meal de-tailing (is that a word?) my shrimp. Not here! I had the Cougar burger with fries. Both were great. We'll be back!

Worst place to watch the UFC fights they gonna add a 20% large table gratuity for 2 people. Without even telling you at the door. Mind you it was just me and my girlfriend that went out to eat here paid the 10$ door charge just to get in. We got there at 6:10 before it got busy. Order the buffalo wings as an appetizer and 2 bacon cheeseburger with fries and the table side s'mores. Had 2 tequila pineapple cocktails that tasted like straight up dog water the second drink instead of the house tequila I got it with Hornitos. The drink still tasted water down. my girlfriend ordered a Diet Coke which literally tasted like beer. Don't mind spending money on a good experience and food but this place is not worth it definitely never coming back... we were denied a bigger table because of bigger parties even thought the tables stayed empty the whole night.... Worst ufc watch party experience...

    Ultimate fan cocktail

Came for Monday Night Football as well as it being the Seahawks home opener. Needless to say place was packed. Came here also because it's somewhat close to home as well as Yelp specifically listing it as a top Sports bar in one of the newsletters so I was in. Despite it being packed, it's a fairly spacious place - bar, booth, table and outdoor seating are all available which is nice. The setting as expected is adorned with flat-screens showing games. The staff and food remind me of hooters - mostly young females dressed in slightly more modest outfits with wings, burgers and other similar fare lining the menu. I had the ultimate fan cocktail that comes with smirnoff. It was actually pretty good. I got a BBQ chicken pizza for the table which was ok, had good presentation but a bit too done. Crust was a little burnt in some places. Waitress was very, good, maybe a bit too good as she made pretty frequent visits. A couple things that got me were that they didn't acknowledge the Yelp check in offer. This is a rare occurring pet peeve of mine. Even if you - the owner/manager weren't aware or forgot about this, I don't think it will kill you to acknowledge it. In this case it's only $1 off glass of wine or draft beer. Like c'mon... On top of that, we're told no happy hour during football season. Really?? I'd think you'd encourage it during that time it's only 3 hours and the only days that could be overly taken advantage of, at all are Mondays and Thursdays. At which time you'd only really have an hour to do so fully. That all said. Fuel is fun and I could see coming back try some other apps, drinks over a game or two and it was a great time here for the opener.

Sometimes you just don't want a nearby Dick's Drive In cheeseburger/shake or slice of pizza. So back on 7/22/21 The Homie and I snagged the last available parking spot and decided to check out Fuel Sports Grill, which used to be a pancake place then a burger place. Glad to see a prime spot return to activity in the Crown Hill/Ballard area. Place was packed despite pandemic times with concurrent Mariners and Sounders games on. The Homie opted for wings and I had a quesadilla...pretty decent food and service. Definitely a lively, casual place to be, especially if you want to root on local sports events. There's a variety of seating available via bar, booth, and outdoor. Works well for both small and large groups.

Typical spots bar vibes and friendly staff. This quickly became our go to spot after work for a pint and a snack until last night when we realized the pricing was out of control. $9/pint is pretty steep for a sports bar... especially considering the margins on that keg. What really got us though, is this bizarre inflation fee on the bottom of our check (sorry for the blurry photo). Absolutely not ok.

    Eggs Benedict!

This is our first visit to Fuel! The Sunday brunch today was good. I had the Eggs Benedict ($17) and my wife had the Chilaquiles ($17). I wasn't bowled over by the amount of food, but the food was done well. The hashbrowns were really good. My Eggs Benedict eggs were poached perfectly. There was plenty of ham and hollandaise sauce. My wife's Chilaquiles (she says) a little dry, and could have benefited from some more sour cream and some salsa on the side. The coffee was nice and not at all bitter. Service was excellent. It's a sports bar, so get ready for an all out assault by big screen tv's. In a shout out to "old" Ballard, a restaurant called McGraths used to be at this site in the 1970's. I would give Fuel my business again.

First time trying this spot but it was a great experience! Came here with my parents being in the area and wanted a quick dinner The atmosphere is very sports bar but it's not overly rowdy- I believe it was around 7pm on Saturday and when we arrived we were asked if we were there for the UFC fight (we weren't, I think it was to determine seating? Just wanted to get dinner) but there was a decent amount of people inside already. We got seated immediately and we're given water and menus. We ordered calamari and margaritas to start and then ordered dinner and everything came out SUPER quick. The food was great and customer service was amazing. We will definitely be back!

This was a pretty decent sports bar. We went on a Thursday night with no big games on, so it wasn't busy. The service was great! Our server was super friendly and attentive. The food was okay. It was on par for a sports bar. Not something I would go back for but not bad. Very standard. Overall, I think it's a great place to go watch a game!

    This drink is super refreshing!

What they're known for is their Thai Sesame ribs. Well, at least the sauce on these were decent. Unfortunately, the meat was bone-dry. It was tough, chewy, and a slog to get through. Ribs are supposed to have enough fat. I don't know what went wrong here, but if that's what they're known for, that's not a good sign. The only good food item was the pub wings. These actually had a good buffalo sauce, and the meat was relatively juicy. The cheese curds were not cheese curds. They were ball-shaped mozzarella sticks. There's a difference. The tots were at least fine. Although lacking some crispiness Pretty much all the appetizers here are over $15 - so the only kind of good value is the tots for how much you get. Overall, you're going to need to buy a lot of drinks to get over how below-average the food is. 3/10

By the time we had dinner, although hungry, it was past 8 and we needed to eat a little lighter and mostly had apps, so not sure how light that meal really was. Everyone enjoyed their dish. Because it was a bit cold, my younger sister got the fried chicken ramen. Fried chicken was not chicken katsu but fried chicken. The chicken was a bit salty while the ramen had a good amount of spice to it. Ramen broth was really good, especially on a cold night for me being from Hawaii. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the cheese perogies. I enjoy perogies and haven't had any while on this trip to Seattle so a bit of a bummer. It was more like cheese ravioli. However best part of dinner was having the family together. And we ended the night on a good note. And the staff, so sweet. We appreciate you all for accommodating our family. These are the best cheese curds ever bc the batter isn't heavy like other cheese curds I've had. It's tempura battered so it's light and you can taste the cheese more. The jalapeño strawberry dip and ranch are good dips, but try them together and it will blow your mind. The fried green beans were okay. They did have a heavier batter on them and I wish they had the same batter the cheese curds had. The spicy dip was good! The rosemary popcorn was delicious! It had just enough butter and the perfect amount of rosemary where it's not overpowering. Once you get to the bottom, there's tons of butter and you just dip and soak it up with the popcorn. Solid beer selection with rotating drafts, and if you're a soda guy, they use all Seattle Soda Company flavors (supporting local business). The seasonal veg was brussells sprouts which could have been roasted a bit more to crispy for me but that's a personal preference. This is way more satisfying than the food you'd get at your typical local bar. I've been to The Bridge a half dozen times and every time has delivered. Solid food. Good service. Great outdoor patio. Neighborhood vibes - the type of place where the bartenders know and recognize the locals, and the locals are regulars. I like that. It's a welcoming place, casual, laid back, and though I haven't been there during too many sports games, even when it's on, it doesn't seem to get too rowdy. Brunch is a must do, with options like the Benny flight. Definitely one of the less known brunch spots in my opinion, but even so, can still get busy so go early. Only reason I've done 4 stars is I've had a few times where service was a little slow. Would absolutely return again and again and have recommended to many friends. Keep up the great work team, may you be successful for many years to come.

I made a reservation ahead of time, but when we got there around 8 pm we realized we probably didn't need one because it was seat yourself and still pretty open. No complaints though, it made it easy to grab a table and settle in. The vibe was cool. Definitely a sports bar feel with TVs around, and as the night went on the DJ started getting set up which I can imagine makes it a fun spot on a Friday night for people meeting up after work or hanging out with friends. We decided to share a few things so we could try a little bit of everything. We ordered the catfish bites, lemon pepper wings, garlic parmesan wings, and macaroni and cheese. I'll start with the positives because the service was great. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful, which always makes a difference. Food-wise, it just didn't totally hit for me. The catfish bites had a really tasty batter, but the texture threw me off a little. I personally like my catfish cooked a little harder, and these were a bit soft for my liking. The lemon pepper wings were a little too salty for me, and the wings themselves weren't cooked quite the way I like them. I tend to like my wings cooked a little harder, so these felt a bit soft and bulky to me (if that makes sense). The garlic parmesan wings were okay flavor-wise, but still similar in texture. The macaroni and cheese was okay. Nothing bad, just pretty standard. The menu itself has a good mix of comfort food and bar favorites like chicken and waffles, shrimp & grits, burger & fries....so there are definitely options to try. Overall, the service were great, the vibe was cool and I can definitely see this being a fun spot once the DJ gets going and the place fills up. The food just didn't quite land for me personally this time. I gave it 3 stars, but if Yelp allowed half stars it would probably be closer to a 3.5 for me. I'd still be open to coming back and trying a few other things on the menu.
