I have a serious complaint with the Fuel 4 on hwy 36 in Middletown.Went there yesterday at 130 pm.I told the guy that I wanted 13.00 in gas.He repeaded back 13.00 which I said yes.He was by himself. He came back & I gave him 20.00.He was supposed to give me back 7.00.For some reason he only wanted to give me back 2.00 & not the 5.00.Then he was very rude & said he put in an extra 5.00 & wouldn't give me back my 5.00. He walks away & ignored me & wouldn't give me back the other 5.00.I had no choice but to call the cops.He wouldn't even give me cop my 5.00 either.So I'm filling a complaint with the police about the guy.No star rating because the guy overcharged me 5.00. read more

We've been taking our cars to Sweeney's for years and they are by far the best around. They have always done great work. They are honest, will give you an estimate before the work is done, and don't add on unnecessary work or charges. Horrible experience !!!!! Waited 10 weeks for my car to be repair! Agreed to pay for him to weld both sides of frame. Was promised the car to be done 5 times . After all done the car was left filthy and only one side was welded. The one side was not welded professional all priced together. I was ripped off. I would stay clear of this repair shop . I can only hope Karma works fast on the owner. Guys like this give auto mechanics a bad rep. Truly very disappoint . They should be ashamed read more

Gas station/garage that handles repairs! What a combo. Very small operation feel. Not out to steal your money. Cheaper than big chains because less overhead and pressure to make quotas, I would imagine. Got my brakes changed here. I love this gas station! Its one of the few gas stations that has an air pump for free ;) I went here a few times to pass my car inspection. They never give me a hard time for the most part. They are good people and they do a good job with whatever needs to be done. Gas here isnt too pricey either considering we are in recession right now. read more

You have to love a gas station with free air pump. I wish I had known about Sweeney's earlier because they are old school in the way they do business. Work is done at a reasonable price, no attempts to up sell for other work, and a job well done. Also, the mechanics know what they're doing. This place charged me $110 to tow my car 200 feet to my driveway. This is unacceptable.

We stopped at this gas station on the way south for vacation. We wanted a fill-up on regular gas ($2.99 per gallon). The attendant was acting a little nervous and was blocking my vision from the pump but I didn't think anything of it at the time. I didn't notice what he had done until we had already driven off as the price seemed a little high to me. The receipt showed that the guy pumped the highest grade of gas for $3.49 per gallon. Guess he figured we're tourists passing through and we'd never know the difference. I did... and hopefully anyone passing by there sees this and passes right by them to the next station. read more

When my check engine light came on my parents recommended I go to Sweeny's before going to the dealer. They gave me a free diagnostic and informed me of a notice on the car makers bulletin that this was a recall issue and that it should be covered under my vehicles warranty. The day before I went to Pep Boys and they wanted to charged me $90 for diagnostic and could not tell me what the code pulled off of my car's computer meant. I appreciate their honestly and knowledge. If I ever need any work done on my car, (hopefully, not for a few years since it is a fairly new model) I will be taking my vehicle to Sweeny's. I should also not that my stepdad recommends them and he used to be a mechanic for Sears Auto. This is where he takes the family's vehicles when the problems are too big to tackle in the driveway. I also observed they way they interact with the other customers that were present at the same time as me. Everyone seemed very satisfied with the work being done and especially the fair prices. read more
