We had wanted to dine at another restaurant but that was closed. I quickly yelped up this place. Let me just say, Fugazzis exceeded my expectations! Upon entering, the hostess said that the wait would be one hour for inside seating, but the outside patio was open. We decided to go with outside seating despite the heat. But hey, it wasn't too bad with an ice cold drink! It was actually a cute little well-utilized space. They had high tables with that rustic feel and string lights to add to that romantic, laid-back atmosphere. Our server was quick to come and take our orders. However, it took a while for the food to arrive. We ordered at 6:45 and food arrived at 7:30. Also, my side salad showed up first without utensils. So I had to wait another 10min for the waitress to come around again. She more than made up for it by being super attentive the rest of our meal though. Ok, onto the food! I was completely blown away by the Efrains Spicy Shrimp Arrabiata. That was a main course I wish my stomach were bigger so I could clean off the plate. The prawns were perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. Juicy! And the dish had a good amount of prawns. I thought the fresh basil taste really came through and blended so well with all the other ingredients. Definitely recommend! My husband had the Philly Steak Sandwich. He said they put their own twist on the classic sandwich and it was unlike anything he's ever tasted - simply the best. Our kids had the chicken bites and penne in marinara sauce. Those were tasty well-portioned choices. We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a restaurant after being unlucky with our first choice. Terrible service. So rude and took forever. The lady who sat us was annoyed with us being there saying we would have to wait for a clean table. Tables were dirty and it was not busy. There were four of us and two babies. She wiped down the table for us and sat us. They took a very long time to come get our drink order. When the waitress did show up (one of the 3xs she came to our table) she interrupted while we ordered. Asked if we needed anything while walking away. We asked for refills and sauces and she had to loop back around because we actually responded with what we needed. And dropped off the check. When we first got our drinks I was ready to pay for the drinks and leave. We stayed because we got the babies settled in. This was in August 2022 and I haven't been back since. We just moved to Kingsburg and we love trying the local food and shopping local. I will never eat here again or recommend this place to anyone. This was the Carbonara....very unimpressed with this dish. First for Carbonara it is supposed to be pasta, not Penne. Second they put Alfredo in it, and there was absolutely zero flavor except for the occasional red pepper flake. Very flavorless and bland. I am really disappointed in this Fugazzi's as I had came to visit family in the area and have heard good reviews. Yesterday there was a crab festival downtown and as we walk in with our party of 12, the server was being rude and assuring us that they had no place for us to sit. I will say that the streets were empty because the crab festival didn't start for another hour or so. There were 2 other customers enjoying a beer outside and there were several open patio seating, but the server said, "well where are you going to sit?" As a small business, I say...shame on you Fugazzi's... it is your job to accommodate ALL parties. Chasing a way a party of 12 because you have no clue where to seat even amongst the open patio seating that was available. We decided to take our business elsewhere ...I hope in the future your venue could strategically thinks of ways to serve all customers even in a pandemic read more

We are visiting the area and this restaurant was recommended, so we decided to give it a try! So GLAD we did! We had the 6oz petit filet with prawns. The steak is one of the best I've ever had! Extremely tender and cooked to order. Prepared with this sauce that was delicious. For our appetizer, we chose the bacon wrapped scallops - must have if you visit! Cheese cake for dessert with their own spin, which was amazing. On top of everything, our server, Jessica M, was helpful and attentive without being at our table every two minutes! Excellent! Absolutely no service here! Tip was not earned whatsoever. Food was decent, that was not an issue at all, which is the only reason I give 2 stars. If I could tip the cook, I would have because the food came out on time and it was good. We waited for so long for them to come pick up the check. I actually had to almost walk into the back to tell them we were ready. No lie, if I wanted to walk out and leave, I could have and they wouldn't have noticed that the bill was never paid until one of the girls there decided to come out from hiding. Great spot for Kingsburg! I believe there are a 1-2 others in the valley. My wife and I recently ordered take out Cajun Chicken Pasta Meal. Pasta was penne would have probably changed that for a future order but it tasted great. We had plenty of leftovers. I have never been inside for dining but they were friendly and accommodating for our take-out order. I was inside briefly and the decor / atmosphere looked great. We got there and right from the beginning this place was awesome. The decor and atmosphere was spot on. Our server was very knowledgable and on point on recommendations. We order appetizers and they were all awesome. Buffalo cauliflower bites, fried brussel sprouts and Truffle fries. Then each of us had our entrees which I had the fusilli pasta with grilled chicken and marinara. Some of the best pasta I have ever had. The soups and pastas here delicious. If they opened a little earlier it would probably be added to the lunch rotation, but we're early risers and often get lunch around 10:30. Their stroganoff had a different spin than I'm used to, but the steak was tender and the sauce, which was nontraditional, was memorable in a good way. Wow! Simply fantastic. Sat outside and they had nice space heaters. The service was friendly and welcoming. Ok so the food! Wowowowowwow. I got the steak and prawns. I can't believe how buttery the steak was, and the sauce on the prawns was delightful. I could go on for days. The side were delicious. We also got an appetizer called the Fugazzis dip which was jam packet full of flavor. On top of all that they brought out bread and the dipping sauce that came with it was fantastic. I do not recommend this place. We have been here several times, it never fails to disappoint. The service is nice and slow just the way that I like it. The food is consistently a 6 out of 10. The food here is usually decent. We ordered takeout a couple of weeks ago. Was a simpLe order, 2 salads and a side of Brussel sprouts. When the driver arrived (DoorDash) I realized that the Brussel sprouts weren't with the order. Disappointing but we moved on. The salads were so small they didn't even take up half the container. The dressing (which is usually so delicious) was so acidic it burnt my tongue. There was Hardly ang nuts or cheese. For a $15 salad, it wasn't what I was used to. I'm not sure if the order was so off due to being an off night or because we had ordered through DoorDash. I tried to email Fugazzis and I tried to get ahold of them via social media.
