    Stockholm Royale and lemon drop
    Rebecca M.

We came in for dinner on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was about half full. It's a cute spot with plenty of seating and very clean. They started us off with bread and a tomato dipping sauce. The bread was fantastic, warm with bits of garlic baked in, and the sauce was on the thinner side and paired perfectly with the bread. Our server was incredibly friendly and patient, answering all my questions. We ordered a strawberry lemon drop and a Stockholm royale, and both cocktails were excellent, mixed well and we really enjoyed them. For dinner, we tried the chicken piccata and chicken Marsala. Both dishes were a little different from the traditional versions, much creamier than we expected, but still delicious. The pasta was fresh, but slightly overcooked/soft, and the seasonal vegetables were tasty. Portions were more than generous, and we left with two large containers of leftovers. Our server kept checking on us and was again very attentive. I would recommend Fugazzis without hesitation and will return!

Came here for lunch with friends and we all enjoyed our salads. Fresh ingredients and delicious flavor combinations. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The jalapeño popper on top of the steak salad was a unique touch that worked with the rest of the salad. It did not have bacon in it but the crispy wrap and cheese choice was really good! Such a lovely place in the heart of downtown Kingsburg.

Absolutely delicious. I was really surprised and taken back. Our waitress was able to get me some extra sauce, which I really appreciated and it was so good!!! Drinks were cold! The Service was really good as well!!

My brother and I were driving home from an out of town trip and stopped in a cute little town called Kingsburg which kind of reminded me of Solvang due to their Swedish looking buildings. We ate at Fugazzis, an Italian restaurant with good food and service. The bread basket with a sun dried tomato dip was very good and we asked for more. I ordered role beef stroganoff which was very delicious! That creamy sherry sauce was everything!!! My brother ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which he enjoyed because he ate the whole thing! We were both full, but I still had to try the crème brûlée cheesecake. Wow ! What a treat! It would be worth a drive to visit this town again and try more dishes from Fugazzis.

We bought these pizzas for 4 dollars each!! Can't beat that price anywhere now-a-days. Service was quick and nice. The pizzas are small but surprisingly pretty filling. I would def recommend this place if you're having a nice walk around downtown Visalia.

Yummy lunch. we started off with the Honey Walnut Cauliflower. It's served over fried rice. Although for it being a cauliflower appetizer. I would have thought there would be a bit more cauliflower. It was very delicious though. We also ordered the coconut prawns. I don't eat coconut so I can't say if it was good. But they looked good. My guest had the Shrimp Louisiana. And I had the beef stroganoff. I was a little disappointed they used fettuccine noodles rather than the pappardelle noodles. It was still an amazing dish. We both had the creamy asparagus soup. It was delicious especially with the bacon on top. Service was great! Definitely a great place to have some delicious food.

Always have such a great experience here! The staff are so sweet and attentive. The food, appetizers, and drinks are always 10/10. My favorite is the pesto tortellini and the strawberry lemonade Moscow mule. Definitely recommend!!

Wow this place is fun! Kinda fancy kinda not! Food is great service is great. Appetizers and wedge salad are amazing! We loved the mushroom appetizer, and the Brussel sprouts appetizer! My husband had some kind of hot salad? I dunno but he inhaled it! A new favorite. Also loved the martinis!!!

    Portobello raviolis with Caesar salad

Six of us were exploring the Blossom Trail, which by the way was beautiful, and we're ready for lunch. We were afraid that we wouldn't have many options in a small town on a holiday, but we lucked out w/ Fugazzis. I had the portobello raviolis, described as "swimming in a creamy sauce" and it was very delicious. It came with a choice of soup, salad or fries, I went with the Caesar salad. The rest of our table had an apple pecan salad (topped w/pecans, turkey and cranberry), Thai chopped salad w/chicken, edamame and pineapple, philly steak sandwich and a portobello appetizer. Everyone enjoyed their meals and want to come back to try other menu items. What a gem in Kingsburg.

What a nice surprise! We got into Kingsburg a little later in the evening and were worried we wouldn't find a place to get a nice dinner. Thanks to yelp we found this place. All of downtown seem to be closed except for this restaurant. I ordered the pesto tortellini and a blueberry lemon drop. The tortellini was creamy & delicious!

    Spicy Shrimp Arrabiata
    Michael L.

Pleasant dinner with family at Fugazzis. Service was quick, friendly and attentive. Everyone had a different dish which was nice to see an array of plates. For the most part everyone enjoyed their dishes. I had the spicy shrimp arrabiata. Careful this dish is spicy! But tasty. My mom had the chicken Marsala which I had a couple of bites and that was my favorite. My wife's carbonara lacked edamame (forgot to be mention they were out) which she was hoping for but still enjoyed her plate. Nonetheless, better Italian food for this area.

The Annex checked every single box. First, let's talk about Sammie. If every restaurant had a Sammie, Yelp would probably have fewer 3-star reviews. She welcomed us like we were regulars, knew the menu inside and out, and steered us toward the Tagliatelle with the confidence of someone who knew we'd be thanking her later. She wasn't pushy, rehearsed, or robotic, just genuinely excited about the food. Those kinds of servers are rare. Honestly, Sammie is the fifth star on this review. Now the food. The Tagliatelle absolutely lived up to the hype. Rich without being heavy, flavorful without trying too hard, and balanced in a way that's surprisingly hard to pull off. Every ingredient had a purpose. After one bite, we completely understood why Sammie recommended it. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly. Great crust, tender inside, packed with flavor... and somehow the potatoes nearly stole the show. I know, they're potatoes. But whatever magic happened in that kitchen deserves some recognition because they were ridiculously crispy, perfectly seasoned, and impossible to stop eating. The burrata with stone fruit was another standout. Creamy burrata, sweet fruit, salty prosciutto, fresh mint, and toasted bread all came together into one of those bites that makes everyone at the table suddenly stop talking for a second. And then there was the mixed mushroom pizza. Some of the best mushrooms I've had outside of a music festival... kidding. Mostly. Seriously though, the mushrooms were incredible, and the pizza had that perfect balance of earthy, cheesy, crispy, and chewy that keeps you reaching for "just one more slice" until the plate is mysteriously empty. By the end of dinner we were completely full... and I was still looking at the menu trying to justify ordering something else. That's usually the biggest compliment I can give a restaurant. We'll absolutely be back. For the food, for the atmosphere, and hopefully for another table in Sammie's section. Whoever hired her made a great decision. Whoever decides raises should probably have a conversation with her too.

Good Grief !! Where do I start?! At the beginning, Jim…read more.. OK, so I'm in Hanford, California doing a favor for a friend after a long day working in Los Angeles then driving 3 hours! My options??? Grabbing some snacks at the hotel or taking the spectacular advice of April and Naesha at the front desk of the Fairfield Marriott, my hotel for the night. They also said that the Steak Bites were fantastic. After a quick shower, I took the 5 minute ride to the restaurant. Independent building, fairly nondescript but classy enough. Easy access with plenty of parking. You enter in to a dark, classy Italian restaurant. A large , open dining room straight ahead, and a small (but really cute) bar to the left. I chose eating at the bar, and I'm happy I did. Raquel, the Bartender took care of me with humor, seriousness, smiles, and incredible recommendations. Ordered a nice Zin and started perusing the menu. The nightly "specials" menu looked great, but the regular menu nailed me. Before I could even begin to make decisions, their bread arrived at the table with a small bowl of marinara sauce. Maybe the best I've had... EVER! Raquel was literally describing the recipe after I raved. Should have asked for a copy! Guess I knew then that I was about to be thrilled! I ordered some of the steak bites for the ladies at the hotel, then proceeded, knowing I was about to overeat AND take a feast back with me. Always a Caesar Salad as a starter, asking for it not to be overly saturated and they nailed it. Just a personal preference and this is massively nit picky, but just a hint more anchovy paste. Raquel then steered me to Shrimp Avocado Crostini as an appetizer. It truly left me speechless, and that's virtually impossible (just ask my kids). The perfectly toasted Crostini's, thinly sliced, a smear of the avocado, then a spoonful of heaven! I mean the warm shrimp goulash, salsa, soup... heck, whatever it was, was pure perfection. Limited myself to 3 pieces, about 9 bites, and only consumed about 1/3. For my main course I opted for a chicken dish as I often do. I chose the Spicy Chicken Chipotle with Penne Pasta, Blackened Chicken, bell peppers, edamame, mango... Now as I'm already achieving some pressure on my belt, all just have a couple bites. OOPS!!! Yup, it was THAT good! And it came out hot, as it should, a thing many restaurants miss on. I was confused after my first bite because it was unnaturally sublime! I devoured it!!! Just left enough to add it to the bounty traveling back to the hotel. Truly some of the very best pasta I've had anywhere. So now I'm stuffed and she comes over and says a naughty word, DESSERT! Crème Brûlée Cheesecake sound ok? Sure, I reply. Light, fluffy, not overly sweet, luscious caramel sauce... two perfect bites and into a to go package. The food, 10/10 The Service, 10/10 (Thanks Raquel!) The Atmosphere 9/10 Don't know if I will ever get the opportunity to return, but if I do it would be my honor to have a chance at trying more of the beautiful menu. Bon A-petite' Cheers

Communication from the staff about the delay would have made the experience much better. So having a massive jar of soda already right in front of me? Huge win. Now, moving on to the slightly traumatizing part: they did not bring out bread to the table. Excuse me? I'm sorry, but if I am sitting down for Italian, table bread is not an optional courtesy--it is a fundamental human right. And it became an even bigger issue when my fettuccine arrived, because the portion size was... let's just say aggressively small for a dinner entree. I was expecting a meal, not a decorative sample. However... it was infuriatingly good. They make their own pasta fresh in-house, and the texture was honestly undeniable. My husband ordered the Margherita pizza, and he literally declared--with complete, uncharacteristic enthusiasm--that it was hands-down the best Margherita pizza he has ever gotten. So, massive points there. What was not a massive point, however, was the subterranean seating situation. We were escorted downstairs into the basement, which was pitch black. But more importantly: the stairs are completely unlit. I'm sorry, but they are actively asking to get sued. It is a litigious nightmare waiting to happen. Someone is going to take one wrong step in the dark, tumble down that staircase, and own the entire restaurant by next Tuesday. They are practically begging for a lawsuit. That being said... despite the pitch-black staircase of death and the tragic lack of dinner rolls, overall? I really liked it. The food completely won me over, and I would definitely go back. I will just be bringing a flashlight and my own emergency focaccia next time.

The menu uses Italian names for many of the dishes, so I wasn't immediately sure what everything was, but once we figured it out, everything we ordered was delicious. The angel hair pasta was simple but absolutely perfect. We also had cheesecake for dessert, and it was fantastic. I also appreciated that they had a kid's menu, plus mini pizza options for kids. My five-year-old only made it through a couple slices because the portions were generous. Definitely come hungry, and don't be surprised if you leave with a doggy bag because the portions are big. Highly recommend!
