    In house fryer for donuts.
    Ivana L.

I was just leaving the AGO and was craving ice cream after the raving indigenous feature. Fugo is a hidden gem, hole in the wall place to visit. It's one of the few places that do take pride in making stuff in house. As you enter you can see their donut fryer running and an attentive individual at the til. As much as the donut was good I was on a no fry diet so I took one order of the wild berry and thai milk tea. My second order was Malt chocolate and coffee. I would say the flavors were not standard from the bucket flavour. Very unique. He thai milk tea was orange with a distinct cream flavour. The wildberry had a nice deep berry flavour with little gelatin berries that were soft to bite. Very unique. It reminds me much like a bubble gum flavour ice cream with its unique interpretation. The malt chocolate was my flavour. Spot on for taste like when you buy a smarty or kitkat ice cream. All its missing is the malt chocolate chunks. The coffee was good and rich. Overall a hidden gem and for 15 for four unique scoops it was an epic tasting adventure. Can't wait to return.

Easter weekend pop-up delivery of 2020 I found out about this pop-up via their Instagram posts and overall, I'd say they did a very good job of advertising/keeping their customers informed and their overall organization was quite good (especially considering that this was their first time hosting this type of event). Placing my order was simple - online on their website with a very user-friendly interface. Being a Vaughan resident, my delivery was set for the second day and estimated for ~5pm delivery. Impressively, the doorbell rung at 5:11 pm. Delivery was completely contactless, as they dropped order on the porch and rang the bell. My two items were placed in a large paper bag. Small detail, but they didn't place their logo on anything (i.e. no logos on the paper bag, ice cream tub, or cake container). Everything tasted fresh, like it was made the day of. The HK milk tea ice cream ($11.90) was rich in flavor and creamy smooth! The matcha tiramisu ($22) was a little small in size for the price, but the flavors were perfect. The top layer of matcha powder helped to balance out the sweetness of the cream and by keeping this dusting light, it wasn't too bitter. I was extremely happy with my order, and it was exciting to have it delivered to me for free (orders over $30) especially considering they're located downtown.

So happy to know there's a new location. I've missed my Cookie Monster! Two businesses in one location. No cash. Debt or credit only. Wheelchair accessible for me and my walker. Same yummy ice cream!

The mini donuts are made from a donut mix and fryer on the countertop. Its an interesting process to watch as you wait for your order. They are all freshly made and promptly prepared. I thought they would be chewy and dough-y like the regular ones at Timmies or Krispy Creme, but i was delightfully surprised.(tl;dr: get them!) They are soft, decadent, melt in your mouth pastries. One bite in and you feel the almost weightless pressure down on the cushion of the dough like a down pillow. Yum yum yum xD CONSUME ASAP FOR OPTIMAL TASTE EXPERIENCE You can get 3 for 2.75$ 6 for 5.50$ 16 for 13.50$ 32 for 25.00$ So i got the 6 pack, and got down to choosing the flavours. I got (left to right, top to bottom): Skor, Campfire S'mores, Maple Walnut Great Canadian Pig, Lemon Meringue, Cookies n Creme So the great canadian pig is actually maple syrup and bacon. The skor, lemon meringue and campfire smores are my favourite! You can really taste the charred bits in the smores marshmallow. My coworker got the classic donuts dusted with cinnamon; those were pretty good too. I also got their hard scoop ice cream. Two scoops, in fact. I got the London Fog (top scoop) and the HK milktea (bottom scoop). Even though i asked for a cup they upgraded me to a cone so ayy. It was 6.75 plus tax. The london fog flavour was almost peppery, not sure why. I prefer Richmond Station's version better. The HK milktea flavour was alright, not too sweet which is good depending on what your cravings are. As the waffle cone was already sweet, the lightness of the icecream complimented it rather nicely. The shop is ran by two asian guys who look very friendly, lol. One takes the order and the other prepares toppings in the kitchen. Expect to wait some time for the donuts as they are literally prepared on realtime. #WorthIt.

Came here for dessert after having a full lunch at a nearby restaurant. The shop is conveniently located at Queen street and hard to miss. The restaurant is a lot more spacious when you walk inside. We came here for the mini donuts. The variety of donuts is large but each is so tiny that you can gobble down a dozen donuts before you realize it. The cost is average but you get to taste a variety of different donuts. Definite recommend if you are around Queens shopping for desserts.

    16 mini donuts

My friends bought me a box of 16 mini donuts as a gift and WOW! These donuts were incredible! The donut itself was well made. And the flavours packed a punch. Two things I love about Fugo- the donuts aren't too sweet, unfortunately other donut places pack the sugar in and there's no real taste of Oreo, Nutella, fruit jams, nuts etc. but this isn't the case here. Not too sweet and it tastes of what they advertise. Secondly, I like that the flavours are offered in MINI donuts. So often I go to a donut shop and I want to try all the flavours but I couldn't possibly eat 16 donuts in a day, so I like the option to taste every flavour in mini donuts. I'd definitely return!

Ordered 16 mini donuts for pickup today. It took about an hour for it to be ready and the transaction was very easy. I arrived and they had my order ready to go. They are working in the back so I had to momentarily wait for them to come to the front. It's understandable considering there is a pandemic occurring which requires special circumstances with social distancing. I read other reviews about the donuts being oily. I didn't find that at all. I found them quite tasty. My favourite in the batch of four flavours was the Homer. The glaze is delicious. Surprisingly, my least favourite was the Oreo - but all the donuts are good. I want to try the other flavours but I'll be sure to order the Homer again .

Do these look familiar? I've personally seen them all over social media lately so I fell into their thirst trap. They are very aesthetically pleasing but personally I like my donuts really airy and light (aka Krispy Kreme original glazed) and these were too dense. But the ideas of so many different flavours was pretty cute

The donuts I ordered (from top to bottom) are "Mini Homer", "Cookies n Creme", "Apple pie", and "Campfire s'mores" The donuts were fresh and bite size. They are reasonably priced at $13.50 for 16 mini donuts. They were light, fluffy, and soft with a cake-like texture. I like how they give an option to mix and match different flavours. The homer donuts had a strawberry glaze with sprinkles on it. Great flavour profile. It tastes as good as it looks. These were my favourite The cookies n creme donuts had a vanilla dip with crushed Oreos on top. It was amazing but with the cake-like texture it didn't seem to go together as well as it could have The Apple pie donuts were sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and topped with a dollop of caramelized chopped apples. It was sweet, but not overly sweet. I loved them! The campfire s'mores was covered with chocolate dip and topped with graham crackers crumbs and a toasted marshmallow. The chocolate was a bit overpowering, however other than that the donut was good

Literally the size of Tiny Tom Donuts
    Miss Lady ..

Dont bother coming here. The ice cream and donuts taste yucky. I came for the cookie monster ice cream but only wanted one scoop. Because I got one scoop instead of two, they would not put the little mini chocolate chip cookies on it, which is petty as fuk. If there weren't other people in the shop, I would have told him to stop being dumb and put two little cookies on the ice cream LOL They also upcharged me an additional 0.99 for a small waffle cone... Aside from this, the blue cookies-and-cream ice cream tasted like spoiled milk to be honest and otherwise flavourless. I threw it out. Didn't even finish it. The donuts had this yucky vomit'y taste. They barely tasted like the flavours they professed to be even tho they had really cool options. The person I was with only had 3 bite-sized donuts and immediately felt sick. By the way, the size of the donuts were much smaller than they appear to be. Theyre the size of Tiny Tom donuts. I DO NOT recommend this place.

I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream. Lol. Well, my brain was screaming for Thai Tea flavour ice cream, and Fugo is the only place i know to have this flavour. It tastes just like Thai Tea!!! They make their own ice cream in that little space at the back. On top of that, they also have soft serve as well!! Summer is going to be goooooood!!! Lol I really like the exotic flavours they carry (Hong Kong Milk Tea, Hojicha, Skor, Cookie Monster etc). Along with Thai Tea, i had the suggested Earl Grey flavour to complement each other. Mohamed, who was serving me, gave me the idea. He was quite a character with his outgoing and friendly personality. And oh, he specialized in salesmanship lol.

The best thing about this place is all the picture-perfect and Instagram-worthy shots you can take about their available ice cream and donuts. Personally, I have had my lot of good shots taken. Money-wise the prices of their menu items are a little bit in the expensive side. Ultimately, the visit to this dessert shop is all good for those looking to sample some nice-looking sweets.

3.5 Fugo has great ice cream creations (like cookie monster, s'mores, Bangkok brownie and more), with inspiration from around the world. Great fusion flavours like milk tea, honey comb, or churros with soft serve that look great in foodie pics! However, it is quite pricey. 4 stars if it were a bit moderately priced. Definitely a fun place to visit that I will return to.

The founder is the same (he's also the founder of the Burger's Priest). Their donuts are also available at Farm Boy, even as far east as Ottawa, which is actually where I tried them (since sadly the last time I was in Toronto, was before the business was founded). I tried the Chocolate Cream Filled ($3.99) which is a big fluffy yeast donut with chocolate on top and is filled with whipped cream. It's like a round eclair, lol. The layer of chocolate was thick, which I liked. The amount of whipped cream inside was also good, not stingy. These donuts are big and substantial, yet so soft. I'm a fan. I'm looking forward to trying other flavours, likely just at Farm Boy for the near future, but hopefully at their store in Toronto in the not too distant future. Review #3 (2026)

As someone who lived in California for 4 years, I will say these are better than the donuts I had there. We only tried the Apple Fritter which isn't usually my go-to but I'm very glad we tried it. It's crisp and sweet on the outside yet unbelievably soft and fluffy on the inside! The apple flavor is mild and could be a bit more pronounced, in my opinion. It's super airy and less dense than I expected which made this so easy to inhale. It didn't even make it out the door! Super friendly staff and tasty donuts!

At that point, its humble start was inside a midtown restaurant for dessert takeout. Fast forward to now, they have three spots across Toronto including downtown which you can't miss with its colourful baby blue & pink exterior. Inside they specialize in brioche donuts that are all dressed up in a variety of flavours ranging from Nutella bomb to pistachio to Homer's favorite raspberry lemon! On the one hand the donuts are expensive starting around $6, on the other they are quite large and eye-pleasing for a unique treat and a hefty sweet bite at that. We picked up six donuts to go after a meal. This bakeshop demonstrates the power of social media in creating buzz across the neighbourhood. I see they're now up to 24 flavours. Perfect timing and novelty wins in this donut-obsessed city. Skip it or hit it? If you're willing to shell out for treats like BBT, there's no reason not to give artisanal donuts a try at least once.
