Also wasn't very helpful, especially when I saw the jasmine tea was not milk based (after I had purchased it). I adjusted the sugar to 75%, but it needed more sugar. I also ordered the mango coconut cream drink for my daughter. I do appreciate they use real fruit and that it looked pretty but I really don't see what the hype is about. I didn't like my jasmine tea and my daughter, nor I, liked the mango coconut tea. Definitely not a fan ... won't be back.

All were good but here are some tips I'd suggest when ordering: ask specifically for the bubbles you want. Don't assume the default is boba. We got popping bubbles which were fine but were a surprise (strawberry bubble and matcha is weird). I got 75% sweet... we love sweet things and this was still really sweet. I'd ask for 50%. The Thai was not a traditional Thai tea flavor. Almost more pumpkin spice. Mango was deemed the best and the coconut was great too. All in all all - we will be back! I was in the office that morning in Columbia, and my girlfriend of that time had called or texted saying that she was really sick, she was struggling breathing, and to take her to the doctor. I'm like I'm at work, but I have Montgomery County (Rockville) work travel I happened to be able to do this afternoon. So, I can swing by Wheaton to pick her up to go to an urgent care by the mall. I waited with her at urgent care. The doctor gave her pills or something and commented that it's been a particularly bad winter with bad colds that have come in. Afterward, we went to the mall to get a bubble tea at Kokee Tea & maybe eat lunch too in the mall. We enjoyed the Kokee Tea. Staff is nice & efficient, prices are comparable to Kung Fu Tea, but better quality in my opinion. We didn't realize it at the time, my girlfriend likely had Covid, which wasn't diagnosed in the US until late February 2020. Her work was interesting. In early January, they had people who had work travel in the office from China. Her work was furloughed not long after that. Then, she had symptoms of Covid not long after that. Anyway, it was an interesting time. If in Wheaton Mall, I'd be back at Kokee.

There used to be this place in College Park that had a GOAT mango yogurt drink but sadly they mowed down the whole plaza and I don't think the shop found another location. I'm in mourning. Ding Cafe has a lot of other stuff on the menu and apparently artisanal ice cream, which had I been hungrier I might have tried. Unfortunately, it shares a plaza with Mia Cane which has really really good Vietnamese Ice Coffee, so if I come back earlier in the day when caffeine isn't verbotten...it's going to be hard to convince myself to try Ding again since it's easier to find good boba tea around here than good Cafe Sua De (sp). I'll likely come back to try the ice cream and / or other caffeine free drink options though and hopefully I find one that works better for me.
