I had the WORST experience ever. I had ordered hibachi and I ordered a KIDS chicken hibachi. The waitress never told me I wasn't allowed the kids hibachi. I ordered sushi as well so i could eat most of both. As i got my checked i saw i was charged for an Adult hibachi. Not just that, the waitress was absolutely TERRIBLE! She is hispanic with curly puffy hair. She never came around for refills. She forgot my friend's sushi, and the cook had dropped a piece of zucchini in my friend's water, and she NEVER got a new water even tho she asked. The food was BAD as well. The chicken tasted and felt dry and even the sauce couldnt save it. Since it was also my friends birthday, we has asked our waiter if they could sing happy birthday to her. As we watched two other people get sang happy birthday, my friend never received that. We had asked TWICE. We waited 20 minutes after we got our check and NOTHING. THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS THEY CANT ORDER OFF THE KIDS MENU WHEN THEY DO. TELL YOUR SERVERS TO BE BETTER AS WELL. read more

So we told the waiter who then took the food to the table next to us where his co-worker pulled the hair off. proceed to the kitchen then turned around, came back out with the same dish and told us "the cook put it back on the grill and shifted through it". The food was very good, prepared with care and "hit the spot". Great balance of flavors. A bit noisy but that "hibachi". I ate in the dining room. The beef negimaki was exceptionally tasty. The staff worked as a team, service was fast, accurate and friendly even with a large crowd. read more

I haven't been here in a while so I decided to give it another try. Was just as disappointed as the first time. I ordered some sushi online and went to pick it up when I got home I was very disappointed. The portion of the meat and ingredients they give you inside the sushi was very small, almost nothing. You're literally paying for rice. If you want excellent sushi with decent portions don't waste your money here. I would recommend Seasons hibachi and sushi located on Shugart rd in the shopping center next to Walmart. This sushi there is always amazing and nice size portions. read more

Once was my favorite place in Dalton. Stopped going for awhile because I became dissatisfied with the food and service. Just recently went back. First time was ok nothing special but not bad. Took a friend the second time and the service by everyone but the sushi chef was the worst I have ever experienced at a restaurant. Tried calling to talk to owner but the manager which was part of the problem doesn't want me to talk to the owner. So unless the owner reaches out. I will never set foot in there again. I have ordered takeout twice from here and both times it was delicious! The chicken hibachi was super fresh and hot - loved getting it with a side of soup and salad. The next time I ordered two rolls of sushi which were nicely packed up and included soy sauce on the side. Staff was friendly when I picked up the food and was overall easy experience! My daughter ordered chicken and shrimp and had door dash delivery and soon as she opened it she smelt that the shrimp was spoiled! Called door dash and they gave her a hard time about it so I went to the restaurant and informed them of what happened and ask that the please check the seafood so when I got home what do you think happened? Where do I begin? I will just sum it up by saying if you have any sort of food allergy, avoid this place at all cost. The first time they intentionally had something in between two sushi rolls, completely random. We overlooked it and tried again some months later where today we ordered a California roll and advised the hostess of a shrimp allergy. Guess what was included in our sushi when we got home? That covers the food portion, secondly the little girl at the order taking station is as rude as it gets and laughs when you expressed concern. The owner is nothing more than just one of her cronies. Outstanding food and service! The sushi is excellent and fresh, the Crunchy Dynamite Roll is my favorite. Their steak and chicken can't be beat! Their hibachi chief had tricks better than any we had saw before. He was able to separate the egg white and yolk and then tossed JUST the yolk over and over in in the air with his spatula without breaking the yolk! Food is pretty good. But the screaming Hibachi guys throwing food into people's mouths drives me nuts. Nothing like a table of 10 grown adults suddenly screaming at the top of their lungs every 37 seconds over somebody catching a piece of broccoli. PTSD people should avoid this madhouse. UPDATE: tried this again, now it's worse. Ordered Scotch, some kid bartender, in no less than 30 minutes, poured it in a Pilsner glass and stuck a soda straw in it --$11.00. I ordered sushi, my wife hibachi. They brought sushi, 29 minutes later brought hibachi, followed by soup and salad. If you can't beat this, just lock the damn doors and call it quits. Went here for my birthday dinner. Had the manager serve us. Majority of our time was spent waiting. When it was time to pay she messed up the check, it took at least 30 minutes to finally get things sorted out. It wasn't even a hard mistake to fix. She just split the check that was suppose to all be on one. We were like "no biggie, just take the one card and pay for it all. It's ok it's on multiple receipts." But apparently with it split up the "party gratitude" wasn't included. We assured her we would tip well, but she still wanted to "fix it." The next day we checked our bank statement and realized we had been charged an extra $45 dollars!!! We went back to Fuji to have the manager refund the card. But she insisted it was correct and wouldn't refund it. I know what we ordered and no one ordered $45 of sushi!!! UGH! read more

The health score here is a 92. This was my 1st time here. We chose a table over hibachi due to the wait, but we didn't mind because we were starving. Our server was polite. My soup was flavored well, but lukewarm. I didn't eat the salad that came with my chicken teriyaki, but my Husband's and kid's salad was flooded with ranch or ginger dressing. The food took a decent amount of time to come out. My California roll was so skimpy, no wonder why the roll was only $6. Mine and my daughter's chicken teriyaki came out on sizzling skillets with raw onions and bellpepper.....I was confused because it's identical to fajitas, AND again, the bell peppers and onions were RAW, with cooked chicken on top, no seasoning whatsoever. The fried rice was tasty. My Husband and other daughter's filet mignon was cooked to perfection though, lacked seasoning. Sweet tea was decent. Too expensive for the quality and presentation. Came here for dinner on a Sunday night and was seated right away- overall it was a decent dining experience. It didn't blow me away, but it wasn't awful either. We just did sushi so I can't comment on the hibachi. I had a miso soup and the poboy roll. I didn't particularly like the miso soup- the seaweed was a bit more rigid than I'm used to in that soup. The poboy roll was decent. My boyfriend had 3 other rolls- not sure which ones- one might be a Chuck Norris roll and one was definitely a dynamite roll. Those were good as well. Again not the best sushi I've ever had, but it was acceptable for the prices. The facilities were nice and appealing with the exception of the entryway. As you way through the first doors, you feel like you entered a gas chamber because you are met with just a curved metal barricade. Our server was attentive and friendly. Our waters were always filled, and she was pleasant. No complaints there. They market 50% off sushi everyday, which is odd to me (why not just correct your menus). Or perhaps it's a scheme to get people through the door. It's easy to forget that 50% off (which I did), so the arrival of our check was a rather pleasant surprise. I love Japanese hibachi food! It's probably my favorite. This place is fairly small compared to most hibachi places. It was also pretty busy. They gave us the option of waiting for a hibachi table or eating at a regular table. I've had plenty of hibachi in my life, so we opted for the regular table to save some time. Our waitress was new. I thought we might have issues when she struggled with a drink order. She did a great job overall. Our food was good. My steak was supposed to be medium rare, but it came out very well done. That was very dissatisfying. Everything else was pretty good, so I overlooked it. I'd suggest calling ahead if you can. I can see this place will be very busy on the weekends. I'll be back at some point. If they cook my steak right I'd throw an extra star in here. read more

This place is Pathetic. Thank god I didn't chance getting any Sushi. Fried Udon was ok except a lot of the Chicken was sliced up cartilage. My wife got Tempura. Nice assortment but the coating was like Bisquick The shrimp was good but definitely bought precooked and breaded from a wholesaler. Also, I have never been given 1000 island dressing to dip tempura in. Fried rice was not fried. Table was sticky and gross. This restaurants part of a chain of restaurants that are here in Georgia and Tennessee. They serve Japanese and some Chinese as well as sushi. I have pretty much tasted a little bit of everything on the menu and it is not bad it is priced at currently however it is not as traditional as it should be in many of the items are very basic or Americanized in flavor. The sushi is half off all weekdays so it is a good economical choice to Sushi however the quality is also mid-grade. Service excellent and Ambience is excellent they have a bar and happy hour as well. My very favorite thing in the menu is the sushi and my kids truly enjoy the fire fried rice dishes The Hibachi Table is a lot of fun if you come in a group of three or more and waiting time is relatively normal except for lunch usually there is a little bit of a way. read more

While my husband was living we would eat here all the time and loved the food. I now order take out several times a month. It seems as though this restaurant does not care about their takeout orders. The food is a hit or miss-usually a miss. There is no consistency to the flavor, sometimes it tastes fine, other times it is horrible. Also problems with how red meat is cooked. When ordering medium for the filet I have taken the food home and found that many pieces of the filet have only been lightly seared on one side, the rest of the pieces were completely raw. Since I haven't eaten "in restaurant" in a while I could only imagine this is probably happening while eating in as well. The food has really gone downhill in the past year. read more

It's always 1/2 price, so you're not going to get giant rolls, but two will do. Vietnamese soup is good.... we get it all the time. But To Go.....they were about maybe 2/3 the normal size, or 1/2, and jammed (big time) into this little tray. Pitiful. I had read where another reviewer said don't get it "to go" and they were right. How do you make mediocre sushi NOT the defining memory of a customer's meal?...you provide the most horrendous service of all time. How was it horrendous?...let me count the ways. 1) One glass for two people...had to ask for the second...second glass was cracked, by the way...lip-cutting cracked 2) Also had to ask for plates which must have pushed our server "over the edge"...came back and stuck the plates in my face to place on the table "my damn self" 3) after expressing we were not to pleased with out service, server hovered in the corner with the rest of the neck-tattoo, teen-angst wait staff, pointing and rolling eyes at us...how awesome is that?! 4) Appetizer and two rolls all came out at once...exactly how we asked NOT to have our meal brought out. But...what do we know about how we like to eat? 5) complaint to the manager was as successful as a pregnant pole-vaulter...we were advised "don't leave a tip"....ya' think? What sage advice. 6) Sushi was bummin'...just sayin'...don't think anyone here could point to Japan on a globe. A restaurant can recover from a poor meal with great service. A poor meal with horrible service doesn't leave any room for recovery. Curious what restaurant will be in this spot next...maybe a Sushi restaurant...Dalton needs one of those. read more

I got an iced green tea and had the fried calamari for an appetizer... the worst calamari I've ever had. It was incredibly chewy from outside to inside, it didn't seem like it was deep fried at all and it was very flavorless. I've had the Vegas Roll many times at different restaurants and this was by far the worst one I've had as well. My coworker said he enjoyed his chicken teriyaki. The place looked nice. Although the service was perfect, I can't really say the same about the experience here. The sushi served here is good and the fried rice was delicious, but the same couldn't be said about the rest of the food. The menu is overpriced for what you get. I'd recommend Chef Lin for sushi instead. Ordering it fresh from the sushi chef there is just about the same. And I'm usually not one to complain about pricing, but i often find myself comparing restaurants like this to P.F. Chang's or any 'fancy' restaurant along the lines of that, and I notice a big difference in quality, portioning, and price. Although I enjoyed the rice and sushi, I will not be returning to this location any time soon. read more

Horrible customer service from the manager, Adriana, when someone simply wanted to sit at a certain location at the hibachi table. When a couple at another table behind us were able to sit whereever they wanted. When I questioned her she said that there is a rule which obviously was a selective rule and not posted. She then gave a very rude attitude when I asked for the owner of the establishment, she said that she will not provide me with that information.
