I came for the Hibachi and had the filet with fried rice. The rice didn't have any vegetables and the scrambled egg was only noticeable if closely inspected. The Hibachi vegetables were large chunks while the filet was a bit over-cooked (requested medium and got medium-well). But the portions were good and the flavors were decent. It also came with a salad with ginger dressing that was good. I also ordered a California roll, but they did not serve it with either wasabi or pickled ginger which is very disappointing. Ordered sushi takeout - food was great and fresh! Only problem I had was that it took a while to get my takeout (at least 20 minutes late to pickup time). The staff was super kind and clearly stressed - they mentioned it was usually not near as crowded so late. The hostess was waitressing since there was only one waitress and 30+ people sitting ordering food. The sushi staff got backed up a bit since they offer some deal on all you can eat sushi (which is the main reason my order took so long). A hidden gem! Was looking for an all you can eat sushi place on my way back from hiking all day... This place popped up on my Yelp search, so I decided to try it out. Warm welcome at the door by a waitress, and her son. They brought me to my table and automatically asked what I wanted to drink and brought it out. I knew I wanted the all you can eat sushi, so I ordered a few minutes after looking at the menu. Sushi was pretty good, and came out quickly as it wasn't very busy. For random sushi in the middle of Dalton I was very impressed. It's tucked in a shopping strip mall off the interstate and we only stopped by bc it was the only non fast food and had a few solid reviews on here. Portion was amazing for cost. Service was quick and we are in and out in 20min was perfect for a quick dinner on the way back to atlanta after a day of hiking. Sushi is unlimited $17 for dinner which is def wort it if you get 2 or more rolls but the rolls are big so you probably won't eat as much as you think. The sushi grade was ok {as expected in a smaller town} moderate on the rice and def a lot of fried options so if you like raw be careful not to pick much tempura or things cooked bc the tempura fry is really thick. I am not entirely sure I am able to comprehend why so many people would give this location such high regards. Maybe I've just been lucky enough to visit many other restaurants that offer sushi and that I would say have set the bar a bit higher than Seasons Hibachi & Sushi has achieved based on my experiences. The prices aren't outrageous, but certainly aren't the best deal in the world. As far as the "all you can eat" sushi is concerned, all I can say is that you'd better be ok with the rules they set forth. It's around $23 for all you can eat, and they do not offer it on the weekends, that includes Fridays. Your choices are among their vegetarian and regular rolls as well as a handful of the specialty rolls. The majority of the specialty rolls will end up tacking on more $$$ for each you order. The menu mentions that any piece you do not eat will also add on an additional $1 charge, though you can probably avoid that as long as you only leave maybe one or two pieces on the very last plate you order. Which brings me to my next point... You are only allowed to order three rolls at a time. Each time you order, the wait for the food is going to be 10-20 minutes. So be prepared to spend a lot of time here as well. We weren't even dining at a busy time, there were maybe two other groups in while we were there. As for the sushi, it's not bad by any means. I typically order a sashimi plate, and I do feel that is one of the best ways to get a sense for the quality of fish that the restaurant uses. I do not think that I would spend my money on another one of their sashimi plates. The fish was sort of watery, as if it had been frozen and a lot of the moisture was trapped in each bite. It didn't taste fishy which at least reassured me that it would be safe to eat. Also, they included Kunsei sake (smoked salmon) as one of the cuts of fish. I do not consider that a good choice for a sashimi plate. If I can get it at any grocery store and cheaper, it should not be served at a restaurant like that. Sorry if that sounds prude, but I take my sushi very seriously! All in all, I don't know the area well enough to say that I can think of a better option when it comes to finding sushi. I'm not dying to dine here again, but I will say that it beats getting sushi at a grocery store. To end on a high note... Both of the waitresses we had for our two visits were very friendly and thank you thank you for getting our orders correct and for making sure we were taken care of. read more

16.95 all you can eat??? Can only pick three items and thirty plus minutes to get salmon sushi?? Literally served our party of seven one person at a time in different intervals, from first person receiving their order the last person got theirs twenty three minutes later. We didn't see our server for fifteen mins and only after we had to go get her. English is not a strength when trying to understand server. Salmon sushi wasn't cut clean of the skin.
