Shrimp Tempura Roll: too sweet, couldn't taste the shrimp tempura. Fried Oyster: overdried - dry - tasteless
    Joyce H.

My friend & I came here. We sat at the tepanyaki area, but we also ordered fried oyster and shimp tempura roll. Both were not satisfying. The oyster was dead-dead, meaning overfried-dry-tasteless. The shrimp tempura roll was too sweet with its sauce, barely could taste the tempura. Tepanyaki was good experience, but it could be much better. Based on my observation, many chef seems lacking of energy, they need to be more excited and speak up since the restaurant is loud already, plus the sounds of the exhaust fan. If they elevated their energy level, excitement, and improve their own skills to do much more, certainly, this restaurant can be the favorite place to go for many people. Thankfully, the taste of the food from tepanyaki was great. That saved my day! It was pretty entertaining, but the spirit was up and down. Wish the owner/management can step up more for better in all.

Teppanyaki with the chef's performance was really fun! Definitely check it out if have not tried it before. I think this might be the only place in the area that has something like this. Food was pretty good and the fried rice had a wok hei flavor and meats are cooked well. The ambience is very exciting with multiple tables having shows with their chefs!

My daughter had her birthday and we watched a great show!

We came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and it brought back so many amazing memories. I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid for my own birthdays, and even though it might have changed owners a few times over the years, it still has that same special magic. The show was everything we hoped for--flames, flying shrimp, spatula tricks, and plenty of laughs. Our chef was so fun and engaging, and the entire staff went out of their way to make my daughter feel celebrated. They sang, brought out a birthday treat, and truly made it a night to remember. The food was fantastic as always--tender steak, flavorful chicken, and fried rice that hit the spot. Even the pickiest eaters at our table were happy. It's rare to find a place that can stay this consistently fun and delicious across generations. Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, it's a great spot for birthdays and family celebrations. We'll definitely be back again!

What an Amazing Experience!!! Head Waiter Justin & Chef Neil ensured we had an awesome dinner event. To be honest it was so much more. Customer Service was on point explaining all the different options for dinner and Master of Fire Chef Neil stole the show with cooking, and delivery of our food. A once in a lifetime experience making our son's 21st birthday a dinner to remember. 10 out of 10 recommendation!!

Had the best time with the family at Fuji. The perfect place to celebrate a happy occasion.

Came here with my family of 4 including two young children to celebrate some great news my family had received. Our kids are autistic and are accustomed to family restaurants but teppanyaki was something totally new for them. We weren't sure how it was going to go, but we needn't have worried because the kids LOVED the show put on by the employee wearing a Donald Duck button but more importantly they loved the food. Wolfed it down, even my son who is usually a pretty picky eater. We almost didn't come here because Fuji is not listed as "Good for kids" under the restaurant attributes on Yelp. But it SHOULD be, because any place with a kid's menu is kid-friendly in my book. And while this place was on the spendy side, it was definitely worth it between the entertainment and the mountainous portions. I thought I was going to need to be rolled out of there. We all left with big smiles and full bellies. And early the next morning, when I opened the fridge to make breakfast, my 7 year old reaches instantly for the Fuji takeout container, saying "Mmmmm steak." It was a wonderful meal that won't soon be forgotten.

Good, it's typical Japanese steakhouse, went because my grandma loves it so what else do you do to make them happy!

After our chef finished cooking, he juggled with fire, which was fun!

Had dinner here last night. I think it's related to the location in Redmond? This Fuji location seemed more casual and had great music and a warm atmosphere. Servers were quick, and the chef was entertaining and super friendly. Had the filet dinner and it was SO MUCH FOOD! Included miso soup, a small salad, and then the fried rice (extra charge for that), veggies, noodles, and then the steak. So tasty! Always a fun night. This would be a great location for a family or casual and fun date night.

Scallops and steak. So much food - this was two meals worth of food! Lots of leftovers!

Delicious food, prompt, thorough, and friendly service, and such a fun atmosphere! A standout amongst rivals! We went here recently to celebrate my son's birthday. It was, as always, a hit! Our chef was really fun, and most importantly, cooked our food to perfection. We especially love how tender and juicy our chicken and steak was. I also ordered scallops that were perfectly seared and crisp on the outside, yet still tender on the inside. The vegetables were fresh and tasty, and the fried rice is a standout. All around, dishes are very flavorful. The price point is fair and excellent considering the quality of the food and experience. We will be back soon!

It was a co-workers birthday so we decided to come have dinner here. We arrived at 6:30PM on a Thursday. When we arrived they had 2 stations with the Chef doing their thang. They sat both of us at a new station and told us they were waiting on more people before they could start. We ordered fries while we waited since we were hungry. 30 minutes waiting and they did not have any other diners walk in so we had the table to ourselves and the Chef was really playful. The food was decent but it's the same sauce used for the veggies, the fried rice, the shrimp and the yakisoba. SOY SAUCE We left the restaurant around 8 and they close at 9:30. We were the last diners to have been seated and the last diners to have left for that day.

    Amazing. So so good

It was the best place I've ever went to the fried rice was slightly unseasoned, but it was still very good. Five stars.

This place has the hole in the wall authenticity and the modern coziness. The Pho is AMAZING! The prices are a bit high for a bowl of pho, but the broth makes it all worth it! It is really good! The Large bowls are quite large and at first glance you might think they skimped on the meat. However, as you eat you keep fishing out the meat hidden in the sea of broth goodness. I wouldn't necessarily say they give you a lot of meat, but it is sufficient. Service was excellent. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Every Saturday night, they have live music at 8PM and they are open late. I didn't get to stay and listen, but I will have to return and give it a try. The bar looks modern and attractive. They also play Seahawks and Mariners on both screens. This place has a lot of allure for entertainment and a good meal! If you are looking for a hidden Pho gem, this is the place! A large Pho came to about $20 and some change after tax. But I would say it is worth it. The broth itself makes it stand out above other places. I can say watching other dishes come out at other tables, the food looked amazing. I can't wait to go back and try other things! Give this a try! You won't be disappointed!

I put in the online order around 4:15pm and had an agenda - drop off my kid at softball practice at 5, pick up the food at 5:15, go and feed my 90 yr old bed-ridden father with whatever time I have left before I have to go do some OT at 6:30. I picked the wrong Basil location so that was my fault but I caught it in time and arrived right at 5:15. I walked in and two to-go orders were ready for pickup. None of which were mine. Two teenage boys were cleaning and no patrons were there. The interior looks pretty cool. Nicer than the Everett location. Regardless, one of the guys asks how I ordered it and I said through the website. He said it should be right up then. He comes out about 5 minutes later and admits their "device wasn't on" so they just now see my order and it'll be another 15 minutes. I sincerely appreciate the honesty and accountability but if you're a brand new location and it's 45 minutes after you open, turning on such a device should absolutely be MISSION CRITICAL and priority number. No offer to rectify anything or comp anything, just an apology. The food quality should have a standard and be good all the time so rating a place for their food should be the status quo but what puts a place above the competition is their service and efficiency. This experience was incredibly disappointing - especially when there's the Everett location to compare it to. The owner:patriarch has greeted me and conversed with me multiple times and it's run very well. As for Lynnwood, obviously I don't know who was in the back but a new location should be supervised by the most experienced of staff for the first few weeks, if not months.

A/C was running high as it was a super humid and hot Saturday. The restaurant is one big open space with large, comfortable booths lining the walls and a selection of tables in the center. This would suit large groups, too. There's a small outdoor patio area with umbrella covered seating. They had World Cup games on and decor to match. THE FOOD: We immediately had warm, thick tortilla chips and house made red salsa on the table. Salsa is on the spicier side, but was absolutely delicious. We had the Cadillac margarita (moderately strong and well mixed), tacos dorado with steak (fried and seasoned perfectly), and corn tacos with birria (melt-in-your-mouth and perfect temp). The bar is its own little mixology section and is very well stocked. SIDE NOTES: We were way too full for dessert, but there were several nice options that all looked and smelled amazing as they passed us. Can't wait to go back when we have emptier stomachs to try more!
