Service was great and our waitress was super sweet. I got a strawberry lemon fruit tea with strawberry popping bubbles ... super refreshing. I also had ramen (can't remember exactly which one, sorry!) but it was really good too.

We went for the first time the other night, the wait staff were friendly and prompt. They explained thr menu and allowed us to look over everything without being pushy. The food arrived very quickly and did not disappoint. It was very flavorful and made exactly like we asked. We will be returning to sample the rest of the menu

We came to Fuji for a fast lunch and they didn't disappoint! We were greeted immediately and sat. The restaurant was clean and organized. We've been here before and it was really good! My husband got the ramen and said the spice was perfect and the chicken wasn't soggy. I got the poke bowl and everything was so fresh and crunchy! Our waitress was really attentive and kind as well. Overall a great lunch spot!

Finally a ramen spot that is convenient for those living or visiting Chester! The decor was lovely with cherry blossoms hanging on the ceiling with cute umbrellas. The service here was phenomenal and kept checking in on us and was helpful throughout if we needed anything. For appetizer I got the shumai which is steamed shrimp dumplings and you can also get it fried if you prefer. I thought it was good. As for the star dish, which is ramen; I picked the Yokai Ramen which is a spicy tonkosu broth that comes with pork belly, soft boiled egg and your usual toppings of seaweed and bean sprouts. I was a bit disappointed because the broth wasn't as flavorful nor spicy to me. It came with a side of kimchi and pickles which I thought was nice. For dessert I got their mochi ice cream that comes with 3 for $6. They do have a lot of different flavors to choose from and I thought the espresso was my favorite from the bunch. Overall: my experience here was good when it came to the service, but the food was pretty average, nothing to really rave about. I do like their happy hour drink menu and want to come back and update on that.

This place was excellent! Not too busy, 3-4 other parties, good service, nice server, clean, fast service, generous portion. Good looking menu, I wanted other stuff but got the Ramen. Glad I stopped in while traveling.

I came here on a weekday during lunchtime. The staff was very friendly and quick to respond. I had the shoyu ramen which came out pretty fast. The bowl was beautiful and huge! The broth had a great flavor but there wasn't enough noodles. There was actually way more mushroom and corn which seemed odd enough. The pork was good- just a little too fatty for my liking. Overall it was pretty good. Will definitely be back since it's close to home.

S E R V I C E Exceptional service!! Immediately greeted upon entering the restaurant! Erika took our drinks and appetizer order within 5 minutes of us sitting down!! Very very impressed with the timely service!! Drinks came fast, appetizers came fast, food came fast, and so did the dessert! No complaints on speed!! P R I C E Food is incredibly expensive for food that is below standard for a ramen shop.... Really disappointed in quality for the price! A M B I A N C E The restaurant is beautiful! Decorated and setup so nicely! Cleanliness is phenomenal!! The restaurant is so clean! The music fills the restaurant and makes everything feel so warm and cozy!! F O O D The presentation comes out looking nothing like the photos on the menu. I really think they need to work on this and create a more accurate presentation. Vegetable Ramen There is no umami, meaning there is no flavor in the broth, it is very bland. The vegetables shown in the picture on the menu are not the same vegetables that you get in the actual vegetable ramen brought to you. I added chicken instead of fried tofu. The chicken was very fatty and gristly - I took it all out because I couldn't eat it. Shrimp Tempura Cooked very well and tastes really good! Chicken Dumplings They're okay.. not the best I've had, but not terrible. Fried Ice Cream It's decent! They wrap the ice cream in pound cake and then fry it. It's very very sweet.. so if you don't love crazy sweet things, this may not be for you.

Tonkotsu Ramen

I found this place while driving by Party City the other day and this is the closest Ramen place to my house by far, so I knew I had to give it a try. The grand opening isn't for another week or so, but they have already had a soft opening so they were open for business when we came by. The place is cute, it has a mix of cool traditional Japanese decorations, but it is also still clean and modern and open, so you do not feel overwhelmed or cluttered. The staff is BEYOND friendly. The young lady (I think her name was Nyah) who helped us was so friendly and helpful and attentive. She brought to-go containers before we could even ask, filled our drinks before they could get low, she was wonderful. The menu looks great, there are plenty of options regardless of how you like your ramen: spicy or not, pork, beef, vegetarian, etc. They also have rice dishes with various protein options, and I really like that I can bring my vegetarian friends here, or my friends who don't eat pork, or whatever. There is literally a good option for everyone. I did have to look up a few of the options since some things (like ramen, or edamame) you know what they are, some things (like the yokai buns) have detailed descriptions, and some things are literally just listed as "Jang-uh Gui" so google had to help us decide that we didn't want to order that. The food: We ordered the steamed buns with Chashu pork, tonkotsu ramen, and Chashu pork donburi. The steamed buns were sooooooo good. The buns were so soft and warm and a little sweet and perfect. They were perfectly filled and - call me crazy - but their house mayo is probably one of the tastier condiments I have had in awhile. It is sweet and savory and creamy and hard to describe why their mayo is so good. I had nearly demolished an entire bun before I could stop to take a picture. The tonkotsu ramen broth was FANTASTIC! I don't know if it was because of the pork belly, but the broth was so smoky and creamy and just had so much flavor. They load it up with sweet corn, huge pieces of pork, plenty of noodles, and a perfectly done boiled egg. I loved it so much, and still had to take about half of my bowl home for leftovers. We also ordered the donburi and the rice was perfect and it had the perfect amount of that delicious mayo and sauce, delicious toppings, and a huge portion. Again, we ended up taking about half of it home. It was so hard to stop eating just because we got full. We cannot wait to go back, this place really hit the spot, and is so much closer than driving to Midlo for a great ramen place.

Food? Look at it!! It's amazing always, fat portions!! Service always on top of it and super sweet. The place is so cute and drinks are so good.

My first experience was the week they just opened and I gave it a 4/10. I revisited and I now give it a 8/10. I got the spicy xin seafood ramen10/10. I added eel in mine. The service is always good! And it's pretty and clean inside. Restrooms are clean as well. The mochi ice cream was okay 3/10.

Tonkatsu Ramen

Fuji served a food ramen although not over the top. I ordered the tonkatsu and enjoyed my bowl. It had typical toppings and had a nice rich broth. The restaurant was prompt with kind wait staff. This location is right near my office and Ik sure I will find myself back there. Thanks!

Delicious, as always! Service is excellent and I love the decor on the ceiling. They have very good ramen but my new favorite is the Gyu Donduri bowl. I like it with light sauce because sometimes they put too much on.

We ordered goyoza, yum yum noodles, 2 bowls of spicy shoyu with pork belly and garlic cheese fries. Ohhhhh where to begin... The goyoza were from a freezer bag and weren't even good quality. They decided to fry them which made the dough hard (not crispy) and there were about 8 tiny goyoza for $8! The garlic cheese fries were frozen, seasoned, grade school curly fries with cheese whiz on them. The spicy shoyu had soba noodles not Ramen and the noodles were mushy after a couple minutes at the table. This was touted by the waiter as having "more vegetables" than the other soups but that consisted of scallion, frozen corn nibblets, frozen edamame, and kimchee. The pork belly looks like it was purchased cooked and they seared one side. The fat in the pork belly wasn't rendered correctly and the soup was not balanced. In authentic shoyu you get half a soft egg with runny yolk...the egg in this was hard boiled and sliced with an egg slicer. If you're looking for something authentic and tasty- probably skip this restaurant. Our bill was $58 and we left thinking we ate at the mall food court. Please...cooks at Konran...visit Asia or at LEAST some AUTHENTIC Asian restaurants and tweak your menu!

The décor is unique, beautiful, and really adds to the experience. While I was waiting for my order, I asked a few customers if they had been there before. Every single one of them said the same thing: "The food is so good, we keep coming back for more!" Once I got home and tried my meal, I completely understood why. The food was absolutely amazing! The portions were generous too--I couldn't even finish all of it! I'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend giving it a try. 5/5 Stars!

This is such a fun concept, well executed. Build your own hibachi!…read more My friend was on the hunt for an eatery that provides meat for her (omnivore) but also a satisfying plant-based meal for me (vegan). She found the perfect place. How it works: Guests are seated, given a card to denote table number, name, rice preferences and special instructions, if any. Order drinks at the table. The server gives each person a bowl which you then go and fill with raw ingredients, buffet style. Your bowl, card and sauces are left on a tray. Once grilled by the hibachi chefs, the food is put on a bed of rice and returned to you steaming hot and delicious. Pricing: Regular dinner bowls are $15. For $5 more, you can convert your order to "all you can eat" and repeat the process, as my friend did. Fountain drinks are automatically bottomless. This was a really fun way to enjoy dinner with my friend. I would love to come back with her again sometime. My only criticism is, despite the appearance of the raw food being bright and fresh, the texture and taste gave the impression that much of the produce I had in my bowl was from frozen. And although the price was quite reasonable for a filling dinner meal, it always feels strange to me to pay the same amount for vegetables as someone loading up on shrimp/ squid/ beef/ chicken, etc. I wish there was a discount when forgoing animal remains. YES: Vegan friendly YES: Family friendly

We let our server know, and he was extremely attentive and professional throughout the entire visit. After the first issue, we could hear the manager speaking to the kitchen and specifically instructing them to temp the salmon before sending it back out. Despite that, the replacement salmon came out raw as well. At that point, the server offered to replace the meal with chicken instead, which we accepted. My daughter had originally ordered plain grilled salmon and received it correctly the first time, though raw. However, when the replacement salmon was brought out, it came covered in hickory bourbon sauce and was also undercooked. Throughout all of this, our server was fantastic and did everything he could to fix the situation. What was frustrating was the lack of management involvement. We heard the server tell the manager after the second issue that we wanted to speak with her, but she never came to the table. The manager only came over after the check arrived and I specifically requested to speak with her. Her explanation was that the salmon is cooked from frozen, which is why it was undercooked even though they were temping it. That explanation didn't make sense and raised serious concerns about food safety and proper thermometer use in the kitchen. My biggest concern is that my daughter ate a few bites of the first salmon before realizing it was raw. I cut into the second one right when it arrived.

Thus a significant wait time occurred. When the BarTender did make his way to my table, he apologized profusely and said that because I did wait so patiently that I was welcome to the salad bar while I wait for my food to be ready. I ordered the Impossible burger with Fries (very happy they have this option)! The restaurant was not overwhelming packed with people and the atmosphere was light. Maybe if more people frequented here, it would be a shiny reflection of its glory days!
