Shrimp, fried rice, vegetables & extra shrimp
    Brittany I.

This is my 2nd time coming into this location. I came on a weekday in the later afternoon. There was no wait and the facility looked clean. Staff could be a little more upbeat, especially in comparison to other nearby restaurants in the food court. My 2nd visit was much better than my first in terms of food. The use of the Jasmine rice rather than the yellow rice that was being used prior really makes a world of difference in the quality of the food. I paid almost $20 total with 1 yum yum sauce and 1 drink being added to the entree. The vegetables and rice were much fresher this time. While the food came out very quickly I think it would have been even better had it been cooked a little longer. I would definitely recommend and will be returning in the future.

If you are okay with paying for the yum yum sauce since it's not included and basically $9 dollars then you can give it a try

Please be mindful of the time you visit. As you can see by the reviews, opinions are up and down. And I would co-sign the good and bad reviews. Service is decent. Try to visit BEFORE 8p. The more crowded it is, the food will move quicker and refreshed. You may get disappointed once in a blue moon but you will definitely revisit after visiting other buffets in the area.

The food is AWFUL and that's not an exaggeration. The pros are the selection is pretty vast and the server was nice. I saw some items that aren't the norm such as pigs feet, I believe prime rib, and they do have salt and pepper crab claws. But I have to say even the fried food was horrible. It's as if the deep fryers were set to two minutes for all fried food. Everything was very soggy and mushy. The meat looked and tasted as if it had been out all day. I watched a child put his hand in the beef and broccoli and pick the pieces of meat he wanted and even the fried rice wasn't edible. I wish I had taken pictures but unfortunately I did not. It's not worth the $50 I paid and you'd be better off getting your fix at a local takeout spot

The store itself is cozy with just a couple small tables to sit at while you wait for your takeout. It is takeout only. With this cozy atmosphere also is the homely atmosphere provided by the staff. It was my first time stopping in and they ring a bell for all first timers. In terms of food, I ordered the chicken fried rice, chicken egg roll, and crab cake egg roll (special). They give you yum yum sauce and ginger sauce with the meal. They also recommend that you combine the sauces to create a "magic" sauce. Let's dive in to the food. The egg rolls were divine. I probably could have eaten 5 or 6. They are bigger than average egg rolls and hand rolled in the shop. When I go back I think I'll just get a few of these. The chicken fried rice was good. The chicken was fresh and had a good flavor too it. The rice was also good especially when you drizzle the sauce into it. It is a deceptive amount of rice. While they say it's just for one, I could have easily shared it with someone. I am overjoyed that this place has opened in Williamsburg. Being here for a while, it gets hard finding new places. It's also always great to know that you are supporting a local business!

Shrimp were like rubber could not even chew them up they seem to be store-bought really they're so bad right now even I look at them and they're terrible. The l Yokohama ramen was covered in terms of pork which was the main thing in the ramen the noodles were cold hard to eat and no flavor no soups in it one piece of seaweed about the size of a silver dollar. Overall I am completely disappointed and every part of the meal I do have one good compliment which is I left my wallet on the counter and return to find it in the same place which was good I just wish it would have been placed to the side so nobody could walk up and kick it. It was my fault for doing that but I really appreciate the person. I just returned my so-called Japanese food from last night because I have health condition I could not make it back out but it was so bad I had to take it back. The owner starts yelling at me so does the lady saying I fresh cooked all this there's no way in hell that was tempura shrimp and fresh cooked it was store-bought and I know what store-bought shrimp looks like and I'm going to bring him back a sample of it but neither one of them are from Japan at River bend in Japan and it doesn't even taste Japanese and most of the reviews I read thinking it's a Chinese place Chinese food doesn't take like this Japanese food doesn't take like this. The man continued to argue with me about how good it was in San he cooked it fresh he did not cook it there was only the woman in there and she was trying to say she didn't cook it and I walked back there to see it and she was cooking. Very disappointed he gave me half my money back which is not good business he has no understanding of Japanese culture at all people don't treat people like that in Japan I don't treat like people like that because I always felt like I was Japanese. Very disappointing
