I was staying at a local Sheraton hotel, just down the street and was looking for a close sushi bar. These guys popped up and I gave them a try on my first night there. The entrance was warm and the host inviting. They were fantastic, but not incredibly busy, although I didn't expect it to be on a Sunday night. The sushi was fresh and delicious and, also important to me, our waitress was fantastic, friendly, and incredibly helpful! I have been back there two more times since and the service has been above and beyond. Our waitress, has always been incredibly friendly to me and even gives me a to-go cup of jasmine tea and it always hits the spot! Second time coming here for lunch. The atmosphere is great, I really like the music. The staff are friendly, courteous and attentive. The sushi is fresh and flavorful, the rolls are HUGE! Prices are fair (sushi is pricy no matter what). Very happy with the experience and quality, spent $25 for an appetizer and specialty roll for one. I'm not sure why the good reviews. Hot and sour soup that's flavorless. Same for Mongolian beef. Do they not use seasonings? I think this place is god awful quality. And obviously not so fresh sushi. There are better restaurants. read more

Service was fantastic, our server was so quick! The restaurant has great vibes, and really pretty. The food presentation was also beautiful. The food was great, especially the wonton soup, spring rolls, and california roll. I had gotten the general tso bento box. The wasabi was good and strong, the sauces were also great. I'm not a huge chicken person, but my friend really enjoyed hers. The crab puff for some reason just tasted like a sweet yogurt inside, no crab or cream cheese taste. The server was super attentive, even making a point to pickk up the straw wrappers (Which get ignored so often at other places). I ordered spicy tuna withe avacado and a chef's special roll. Both were delicious. The restaurant sits on the fringe of Wolf Ranch (Near Sportsclips). The prices were very reasonable, especially in the 2024 economy. Excellent service but in the chicken dish i had the chicken had a strange texture. It did not have consistency of chicken especially being all white meat one could not attribute texture to fat or gristle. It resembled more the consistency of imitation crab very thinly sliced and I found it too soft. The flavor was not the issue but a very unexpected texture for the chicken. This is a lovely and average sushi restaurant in Georgetown. My husband and I came here for ramen which turned out to be mediocre. We started with the Tuna Tower and that blew me away! Our server was friendly and suggested we get a side of seaweed to go with our tower and I thought that was a great suggestion! Next time I would get two orders of the seaweed since we ran out so fast! The ramen came out when we were finished with the tower and it was decent. We both got the Tonkatsu ramen, one spicy and one regular. The spicy Tonkatsu was really hot but the regular needed some extra spice or something because it was pretty bland. The bill came out to $58.24 which was a decent price for two ramen, drinks, and a delightful appetizer. The ambiance was nice also. It was very clean and we were greeted warmly when we walked in. We used to come here more often when we lived in Georgetown, but now that we moved away for approximately three years, we hadn't been back. It was OK back then, but apparently they're under new management or something because they are so much better now! From the host to our waitress, the service is fast and they're nice and pleasant big smiles. I had a reservation for seven on Christmas Eve and they put the tables together right away promptly at seven even though they were busy. The food comes out hot, which is very important to me, the flavors and the way they prep the food is good. The bento box is my favorite. I highly recommend that with the hibachi steak. My husband and daughters enjoyed the sushi while the kids enjoyed their sweet-and-sour chicken and orange chicken. And they're very picky. This place seems to be a Gtown staple. Honestly, the food is good but the building itself is old and it kind of smells when you walk in and doesn't get better as you try to make it through your meal. I had to ask for several different sauces to be able to add some flavor to our rolls. The spicy edamame had no spice but it was actually pretty flavorful. My go to rolls are rainbow, yummy yummy, and tiger rolls. Occasionally I'll get sushi/sashimi and/or an eel roll. Sushi is always good. We ordered yaki soba noodles with chicken and this is probably the worst dish we've had. Very bland and the chicken had a weird texture, spongey almost.
