Just fukus on the chicken! I don't know where I've been cause @fuku is the best place for chicken sandwiches! Located in the heart of Coral Gables along Miracle Mile, this casual eatery is the brainchild of Chef David Chang which first opened in the East Village of NYC. Their chicken is not only thick and crispy but also tender and juicy. Each bite is an explosion of flavor especially the Sweet & Spicy and the O.G. If you want something milder, you can't go wrong with the Miso Ranch Slaw Sando or the Chicken Burger. And of course, don't skip on the waffle fries. Perfect crunch, golden brown and highly suggest the Party Fries loaded with all their housemade sauces. Yes, you can even choose your spice level. Also, the Garlic Chicken Rice and Spicy Cucumber Salad are recommended sides. This is definitely quality and the prices are wallet friendly!

I love fried chicken and I love dipping sauces. When I heard Fuku was opening by me and that it would offer tenders and sandwiches it was immediately on my radar. Friends and I popped in on Saturday for lunch. It's fast casual so you order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. The folks behind the counter suggested a sando over tendies so i went for the Miso Ranch chicken sandwich. I noticed in the menu that the chicken was brined so I knew it would be good. The sandwich was perfect, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I also got a wedge salad which was delish. What I loved about the sandwich is you could tell that everything is high quality, which is not surprising since it is a David Chang concept. I also stole some fries from my friends which I enjoyed. Another thing I noticed, is that as the spot opened they included some local artists in the opening which I thought was a great way to show a sense of community. I appreciate when concepts from outside of Miami take the time to work with artists and people who make our city unique, so kudos to y'all at Fuku for taking the time to do that! Will definitely by back to try more of the menu. Also, the vibes inside are fun and there are outside patio seats. The price is also is definitely good for the quality- my sandwich, salad (def shareable) and a bottled coke was under $25.

We were having a lazy night in and craving some flavor and fried chicken so decided to order in and try Fuku! The order came in this adorable reusable bag that will be perfect for groceries or carrying food. The OG sando was still crispy and warm, even as take-out, which was good. The habanero brined chicken was actually spicy and packed a lot of flavor. It was also tender and the bread was soft and good. We tried the sweet & spicy tenders and regular also so that we could dip in all the sauce flavors. I loved the addition of pickled daikon and slaw on the side of both. Speaking of sauce flavors, let's just say, they were all used up by the end of the meal. The honey mustard and sweet & spicy were the best... if I had to choose. The fries were waffle perfection and were a perfect vessel for the sauces. Lastly, the sides were decent - we had the cucumber salad and garlic rice. Both were tasty, but maybe not worth the price. I think I tried 80% of the menu, but would love to go in person to check out the space and try the miso ranch + slaw sandwich. Great flavors and love that we have a Fuku in the Gables now!

We got a yuzu lemonade and Arnold Palmer. First, the presumably Gen-Z cashier had a bit of attitude when we asked which was the Arnold Palmer because it's so light colored you can't really tell the difference between the two. The dude gave a look of annoyance and retorting in a condescending tone. Unnecessary. I guess we interrupted their phone scrolling (which they swiftly put away when the manager came out). The customer service here needs work. Second, the lemonades and Arnold Palmers taste completely artificial and just not great at all. We were hoping the cookies were fresh or at least not packaged in a bag that could have been purchased at a vending machine. What is this junk? Thy were supposed to be Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor but they taste undefined. If the menu said as much I wouldn't have preferred fake plastic cookies. I was expecting more from the Momufuku brand. Their DIY cookies they once sold at Target was better than this.

This place has great elevated fried chicken sandwiches ($12) that you can order spicy or mild. The chicken piece is terrifically battered and crunchy. I'm going to guess that this is battered with potato flour because it has a unique crunch that reminded me of a potato chip. I was happy about that. It also had a unique miso dressing that I appreciated. The chicken was juicy and flavorful throughout. I also spotted a few thinly sliced pieces of fresh chilis. I'm going to guess it was red jalapeños. Nice touch. I also tasted the Cucumber Salad ($5) and the Rice Vinegar Slaw. Both tasted great, but they need to weigh these because the portion of Rice Vinegar Slaw that I got weighed less than 2 oz. That was unacceptable. That said, the flavor was great on the Rice Vinegar slaw. The Cucumber Salad was excellent and really a must-have. The place is small and set up with very little flair. The staff was pleasant and efficient. I won't make a special trip to return, but it's a solid option to have once I'm at The Mile.

I ate so fast I didn't get photos of my food! Ok grab everything on the menu! Every single chicken sandwich is delightful. I loved the original and looooved the gochugong tenders and waffle fries are to die for! Service was really fast and although the location is small there's a lot of space outside to sit! Overall a great experience.

Located in Coral Gables you can try and find street parking, parking lot or garage nearby. Staff was friendly. Place was casual and good vibe. I had the OG, tried the chicken smashsburger, waffle fries, sweet and spicy tenders and the fried chicken rice. You can skip the rice. It was ok. The rest was good amd fresh. The chicken smashsburger surprised me. Really liked it. Then the sweet and spicy then the OG. Would definitely go back

Fuku was awesome!! Such a cool concept to bring to Coral Gables. The service was excellent! Place was super clean. Everyone there was in a good mood. There's plenty of seating and there was little to no wait to get our food on Friday at lunch. The menu has a great variety. The tenders were really juicy and the fries were crispy. All of the sauces were delicious too, I couldn't pick a favorite. Definitely want to come back to try more of the menu.

I feel lucky I was able to make it to Fuku's grand opening. The Photo Booth and DJ really helped set the vibe. It's a fun and casual atmosphere in here, like a hip-diner. Side quest: don't leave before visiting their bathroom. Service was great. I saw a lot of the employees engaging with customers and checking in throughout the experience. You get a feeling that they're excited to be a part of this culinary endeavor. And what an endeavor it is. My party ordered across the menu. Some pros: the chicken burger won me over the the most, the sweet and spicy glaze is sticky delicious, the crispy factor is great. There wasn't much not to like. I wish the Cucumber salad had a little more flavor/seasoning, but I still ate every bite. All in all, I can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu. Welcome to the neighborhood Fuku.

I've heard a lot of hype about it so had to give it a try, it didn't disappoint. Yes you can think it's just another chicken joint, but it's more than that... Menu is different, chicken moist and tasty !!! The fries are a twist on another chain, with more flavor and the garlic rice was excellent !!!

Fuku was good, but I think a buddy of mine may have overhyped it before we got there. It's definitely more in the fast-food category than a restaurant experience. We ordered a little bit of everything, and the standout was easily the Spicy OG. They have a solid variety of menu items and sides, which is a plus. Overall, I'm glad I tried it and think it's worth a visit, but it's probably not a place I'd go out of my way to return to.

The "OG" side of rice, spicy cucumber salad and a beer.

Great deep fried crunchy chicken sandwich served fresh and hot, named the "OG". Very tasty and not expensive, a must try if you find yourself in the Gables. The ambiance was very casual, wooden tables and game boards for you to hang out. I'll definitely be returning for that "OG".

Wanted to get something to eat before we went out last night and had an absolute BLAST at Fuku. We had zero expectations, but were completely blown away. First off, it's a cute little space and I'm a sucker for posters and they had some great ones. The staff is absolutely amazing as well. Johnathan took care of us and gave us some great recommendations. Finally, the food, WOW, again, was not expecting much, but they delivered! I would absolutely come back here again. Oh! And this was one of the only places I've been to in Miami other than our bar (Shōjō's Dojo) that has Orion! A perfect pairing with all the food!

The food was all freshly prepared and all of the options on the menu were readily available. We each placed our order and decided to eat inside because it was a pretty hot day. The restaurant was also very clean from what I could see, and of course the food was fresh and tasted delicious, however the steak was overcooked. The first thing to know is that the café is very small with limited seating, so be prepared to wait if they're busy. I ordered Tina's French Toast, which is one of their most popular items. For $18, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. The slice I received was much smaller than what I'd seen in photos and reminded me of regular sandwich bread. It was also slightly burnt and tasted like toasted bread with house-made syrup and a hint of orange zest. I also ordered the Sunny Side Scramble, which was simply scrambled organic eggs with Parmesan. I appreciate that they use organic eggs, but there wasn't anything particularly memorable about the dish. The BEC (bacon, egg, and cheese) sandwich was decent but, again, nothing that justified the price. My favorite item was probably the tallow potatoes. They were crispy, flavorful, and well-cooked, but the portion was so small that it felt like one tiny potato cut into quarters. In the end, I spent about $100 on four items and left feeling disappointed. None of the food was bad, but none of it stood out or lived up to the hype either. Experiences like this are why I don't automatically trust influencer reviews anymore. Too often they feel more like paid promotions than honest opinions. I believe a good reviewer should be willing to share both the good and the bad. I understand that negative reviews can impact a business, but honesty is what helps people decide where to spend their hard-earned money. I really wanted to enjoy Tina Café, but for me, it simply didn't live up to the expectations
