I was strolling down this adorable street in coral gables and my friend and I were hungry so we came to naked farmer. The quality and freshness of the food was fantastic!!! I ordered the chicken Waldorf salad which came with farm greens, herbs, cucumber ranch salad, half avocado, naked crisps, lemon wedge and white balsamic vinaigrette. It was extremely tasty!! The service was fast. The inside was clean and nicely decorated. I will be back to try some other items on the menu for sure! read more

Very good experience here yesterday. All around very healthy and big portions. This place reminds me a lot of Dig Inn in Boston and NYC. The thing that impressed me the most are the employees. All maintained eye contact and were genuinely friendly and helpful in helping me place my order. A real rarity in the quick-serve restaurant business. I ordered the local farmer plate and requested chicken breast. I noticed there was an upcharge, but was not told there would be one, which i found a little surprising as this is typically more common/popular than dark meat. This place is so good. I literally created every day if I could, they have an amazing deal on Uber Eats. I typically get the Uber Eats promotion which is the sweet potato with the chicken and their sauces with the rice and it fills you up so well and you don't feel guilty because it's so healthy and it's all farm to table and you can just taste how fresh it is. The service is also really good. I feel like they're very fast and it's a cute little shop right near the miracle Mile in Coral Gables. I had Naked Farmer delivered and it was a delicious bowl, exactly what i was looking for. I wanted to have delivery that felt light and healthy, and i felt good after eating it. My bowl had the roasted chicken, herb brown rice, cinnamon sweet potatoes, and charred broccoli. The chicken was warm and moist. I loved the flavoring of the sweet cinnamon potatoes. I also had to order a side of their mac and cheese. Its very cheesy and topped with golden bread crumbs. The garlic aioli is the perfect flavor to dip the food in. I wish it came with more of a thin sauce that i could cover the bowl with, instead of a thicker dipping sauce. The contents were a little on the dry side. Naked Farmer is a small chain with I believe 8 locations. They offer a similar concept to one I've seen at some other "fast casual" eateries where you choose a "base" of lettuce, rice or similar, 2 sides and then a protein or more vegetables. I chose honey barbecue chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, mac and cheese and 1/2 lettuce with mint and 1/2 farro. The food here is prepared in smaller batches to promote quality and freshness, and while this restaurant does offer larger plates and salads if interested, most people I saw on this day were in line for the offering described above. The food was good, though the honey BBQ didn't taste quite as I expected and appeared to be made from thigh, rather than breast meat which I'm generally not a fan of due to both texture and taste. The sweet potatoes were good, but the mac and cheese was basically flavorless. I liked the farro, but would've appreciated the lettuce without the mint. Not a bad lunch overall, though at $23 including gratuity, it's likely a bit spendy to be a frequent lunch option for many. Note that when you pay, you're presented with a screen to leave a gratuity for the staff, with I believe 20% highlighted - but there's really no "service" here that would warrant a tip. You carry your own food to your table after making your selections and paying, and once you've eaten, patrons are expected to sort their own trash, and even open a drawer and sort their own glasses and dishware, placing them in racks which the staff can later carry to the kitchen for washing. read more

So, so, soooo good! Stopped here for lunch with hubby and I'm glad we checked it out. The day before there was a line out of the door so we figured we would check it out. Now we see why! The food is fresh and service was fast. My husband ordered the bbq chicken bowl with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The broccoli was on the crunchy side for those who prefer that. We prefer it a little softer. My husband enjoyed the bbq chicken, it also had a hint of cumin flavor to it. I ordered the steak bowl with green beans, chili Brussels sprouts, and mac and cheese. All three sides were flavorful and delicious. The Brussels sprouts were slightly sweet and light on the spicy side, which I prefer. It kind of reminded me of a Thai chili sauce Brussels sprout. The mashed potato was my favorite. So simply yet buttery, creamy, and flavorful. The food was so delicious, I forgot I was eating something healthy. Both of our dish came with brown rice. It's the first time I've had brown rice that was not dry. My steak was pretty tender and I recommend the garlic aioli sauce. It was light and not overpowering. I recently met a colleague here for lunch. It was a first time for me. Definitely will not be my last. The restaurant is centrally located in the heart of the Gables. There's plenty of parking close by and unless it's raining, the walk to the restaurant from all the parking spots is a pleasant one. As you walk up to the restaurant, there is some outdoor seating, I will warn you to be aware of the pigeons. Then you enter through what could only be described as an internal courtyard, which has nice seating and then again you walk through a doorway into the actual restaurant with the service counter. You can either have a menu salad or build your own as you go through the line. I chose to build my own with greens, marinated, cucumbers, amazing garlic, chili, brussels sprouts, and a perfectly cooked four island salmon. No drinks on the menu. There are glasses and a water filling station. My entire meal came to about 500 cal and was very tasty and well prepared. Overall, an awesome lunch experience I can't imagine it's any different for dinner. read more
