If you are looking for light and filling options Giardino has those options. El Caribe from Giardino Gourmet Salads is a nice and light meal, made up of beans, tomatoes, avocado, plantain chips, and chicken, and I choose jasmine rice as the side. Their salads are very filling and they offer some amazing options. I also love to order a side of their croutons you can order a full bag and they are so good they are even great on their own.

I always order the 'My Way Salad' which is Giardino's 'create your own salad' menu item. My Way Salad: Wild Salmon combination detailed in the photo is amazing! I order the salad with their Ginger dressing, which is the most delicious dressing! Not too overwhelming with ginger, and slightly sweet, but overall delicious. 5 star salad overall. My Way Salad: Tropical Chicken combination detailed in the photo is my partners favorite! The creamy Cesar dressing is great! Tastes like your usual cesar dressing, but very fresh and wonderfully seasoned. 5 star salad overall. Their croutons are amazing! We ordered the 2 bags (in the photo), they are made in-house, fresh, crunchy, and just amazing overall! Ordered through UberEats and have ordered in-person, amazing quality salads either way! Giardino's South Miami Location has great salads!! Update (05/28/22): We ordered a wrap (added the photo), it was absolutely delicious!!

Giardino's is a fantastic salad and wrap spot that I have visited a few times. I have always loved my food. The salads are always fresh and made to order. There also are many Giardino originals on the menu.  The staff is very friendly and helpful. On this visit, I noticed that they cater. The staff member behind the counter gave me a quick overview and catering menu. Pricing seems consistent with similar places. I may use for my next small gathering (around 10-15 ppl). Overall, I highly recommend Giardino's for a quick and healthy lunch or dinner option. Looking forward to trying their catering service.

Chicken Caesar is the best, but so is the tuna salad and apple honey cider vinaigrette. Must try!!

Chicken Ceasar and K&Q are the best!! So is the tuna salad and apple honey cider vinaigrette, to make different combos.

Love love love this place. Great place for a healthy meal at a reasonable price. I like to order the "my way" salad ( can also be a wrap or grain bowl) which is 4 toppings, greens, protein & croutons. I skip the croutons! My piccolo (small) salad was $8.25. *Check in on Yelp and get 10% off!!!! Thank you!!! Now the dressings .... they are all out of this world! They make eating salads a very satisfying meal. Try my favs: Cilantro Vinaigrette, berry vinaigrette or Spicy peanut dressing. - u can also buy your favs for $6 in a jar ( just ask) Staff was sooooo friendly, especially the manager, super clean environment, food was very fresh. I just can't say enough good things about this place! Thanks for helping me stay on track for a fit & healthy bod!

    Clean and efficient!

I'm the type of person that's always looking forward to the next meal. But my goal is not to look like my middle school self, which was unfortunately, pleasantly plump. So Giardino's Gourmet Salad is one of those excellent options. At this particular location, the staff is friendly, efficient and courteous. They greet you with a smile and it seems to me that customer service is a priority. I ordered "the gardener with quinoa" which comes with neatly sliced avocados, tomatoes, garbanzos, dried cranberries and olive vinaigrette. It was a tasty combination but my fatty self kept wondering if something was missing. Next time, I might add a protein and some garlic croutons. Their croutons are amazing and I love asking for extras because they are a bit frugal in that department. I also ordered the creamy, vegetable tomato soup that comes with these perfect sesame seed crackers (exactly two). Mmm, Mmm good, comfort food! My friend ordered a small "habanero salad" with includes romaine greens, garbanzo beans, plum tomatoes, avocado, cucumbers, citrus cilantro vinaigrette and plantain chips. She told me it tasted amazing! I am looking forward to going back and trying their extensive menu. Will keep you posted.

Small bowl of the broccoli cheddar soup

This place is definitely underrated for a quick bite (soup, salad, wrap, grain bowl). I ordered a wrap my way and a small side of broccoli cheddar soup. My friend ordered the Spice of Life bowl and really enjoyed it! Everything seemed fresh, and it worked for a post-beach, refreshing lunch. Panera's broccoli and cheddar soup probably wins between these twk, but this was still good. Nothing special but yummy nonetheless Very quick service, not at all busy. What I really appreciated was that they asked, "light, medium, or heavy?" for the dressing. I'm an avid fan of sauces and dressings and often feel like most restaurants don't provide enough. This was not the case here! I asked for medium to heavy on the sauce, and they did not skimp one bit. Almost wish I had said light to medium because they were so generous!

The best thing to happen to vegetarians since tofu! Its so hard to eat right nowadays, specially when your lunch time is limited to an hour or less...but Giardinos has definitely changed fast-food as we know it and no joke the food is to die for!! If you love salads you'll feel like you've found a goldmine. You can make your own from any of your favorite toppings, greens and believe it or not, even croutons (they have around 10 different kinds). Ever since I started going I've made it my mission to try all of their 24 selections, which you can also have made into wraps. The pricing is also very good, the Piccolo bowl (the smallest one) is actually hard to finish and it will cost you around 6 bucks. If you don't feel like having a salad their soup of the day option is also always healthy and delicious. I've tried their Cream of Asparagus and their Carrot and tomato, and both times I've been more than satisfied...honestly, if you enjoy eating healthy, this is the best lunch option around. And the great thing about it is that they have 6 locations now!

My way salad: spinach, goat cheese, strawberries, almonds, green beans & turkey with a balsamic vinagrette dressing! Yum

I've been to a few of the Giardino locations & by far this is my favorite. I eat here 2-3x a week since it's so close to my job & I'm on a health binge lately. The ingredients are always fresh & the staff has been nothing but nice everytime I've been. I love love love the Homestyle salad, the sweet bread croutons are delish! & don't forget to get some vegetable chips, i'm obsessed with them. As far as price, it's not the cheapest place but you sure get what you pay for. The quality is exceptional. Don't forget to grab a punch card! 10 salads later you get one free!

I wasn't much of a salad person until I had Giardino's. They make the best salads and wraps. You can make any salad into a wrap and if you don't like any that are on the wall, you can make your own. Their dressings are great too! They also have bowls with rice or quinoa. All of their ingredients are so fresh and delicious. The service is always quick and the staff is polite. I love love love the Thai Thai salad. It's delicious! Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I added curry turkey and WOW! Amazing! Try try the Thai Thai!

Bag of sweet bread croutons. Why wouldn't they just put it in the wrap I ordered it with? Nevertheless, DELICIOUS!!!

They've added some more popular drinks like the Basic B**ch which is like a lychee martini, and the Upper East Side which were both very delicious. I had two of each! For the HH snacks, we got the shrimp and the pork dumplings and we all agreed the Shrimp Dumpling was the favorite. It's sauce was soy-based, while the pork had kind of a curry base. We really went for a Birthday reservation. So after happy hour at the bar we moved over to our table. And order more drinks and more good eats! I suggested the Edemame Hummus (again) [still amazing!]. But we also got the Octopus and Imperial Eggrolls. Side note - our server Natalia was really kind to our very active table of two checks and 8 people. She went over the menu, and she was so convincing we ordered everything that she talked about. She even asked if I wanted a drink and I didn't at first, but then she went on to talk about the Upper East Side, and I was sold. For the main entrees, we shared the Branzino which is market price, the Millionaire Rice, and the Bo Luc Lac (filet mignon). All were amazing. I'd ordered it all again. Will definitely be back.

As someone who follows a plant-based lifestyle, it's not always easy finding Latin restaurants that don't use animal products in their beans, so I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they don't. And when I tell you these are the BEST restaurant beans I've ever had, I mean it. WOW. We actually discovered this place by accident two weeks ago when the restaurant we originally planned to visit was closed on a Monday. We needed something nearby, so I jumped on Yelp, saw the great reviews, and decided to give it a try. I wasn't expecting much, but I was completely impressed. Everything we've tried has been simple, fresh, and delicious. The Ensalada Turca is my favorite and an absolute must-try. The jugo de mora is incredibly refreshing, and the sopa de frijoles with rice and maduros hit the spot so much that I ordered it both visits. The staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive, always making sure you have everything you need. The restaurant itself is small and unassuming, decorated with beautiful cultural touches. The music playing in the background instantly took me back to my childhood, reminding me of the songs my mom and grandma used to play on the radio at home. Overall, this is a hidden gem that's absolutely worth seeking out. We've already been back twice, and we'll definitely be returning again.

I ordered the Sancocho de Costilla and it was packed with tender beef rib, yuca, potato, carrot, plantain, and corn in a rich, flavorful broth. The tostones were perfectly fried (golden and crunchy), and the avocado + lime on the plate added a nice fresh touch. Everything came out hot and well-seasoned. Nothing fancy about the setting, but the food delivers that authentic Colombian taste. Service was friendly and quick. Great value for the portion sizes. Will be back to try more items next time

Rating: 5.0 Been a…read morehuge fan of the Iron Chef show since I was a kid and my favorite has aways been the Japanese Chef Masaharu Morimoto! And since experiencing his Disney Springs restaurant Morimoto Asia, I had been looking forward for him to come to Miami. This was a couple of years back during the cooler season in Miami. RESTAURANT: I just know that this location is going to be beautiful. Chef Morimoto restaurants are worldwide and so I was not disappointed to see how beautiful this restaurant was and how perfectly complemented the vibe of the Wynwood scene. The restaurant doors open to the street, which was perfect during our winter visit. Inside is an open floor plan with a variety of seating options from the izakaya style table, banquet dining against the wall, to the huge bar. There are even covered seating outside that reminded me of New York. Decor is both minimal but with burst of colors with his signature wall art and backlit panels against the wall. And ofcourse, it won't be an authentic Japanese restaurant without the a display of hyper-realistic food models which can be found as soon as you enter the restaurant to entice your taste buds. Everything just looked sleaked and clean and love the pop of green from the huge fig trees. SERVICE: Service was amazing. From the moment we entered, we were greeted and seated right away for our reservation. Our server answered all of our questions and suggested some fruity cocktails. And lo and behold, owner Chef Morimoto himself presented us with our food and torched it right infront of us! He was so polite and humble and wonderful. We watched him moved from one side of the restaurant to the other with the endurance of a guy in his 20s and he's like 60 something! He did not stop. It was such a treat to have him in our table and how he indulged us when we chanted "Iron Chef! Iron Chef!". It was an amazing experience. FOOD: The menu have the right amount of options, from finger food to ramen, sushi and not to mention the drinks. For starters, pork belly and soft shell crab bao and bbq ribs. Deliciousness! The buns warm and pillowy. The pork, so tender. But that soft shell crab...that made me want to slap someone it was so good. Flavorful, no fishiness whatsoever, crunch on the outside and just happiness on the inside. I will eat a million of these. Then my friend ordered some Yakitori fresh from the grill: chicken, pork belly, shrimp, wagyu. They were simple, fresh and so fingerlicking good. Then the ramen; tonkotsu and gyukotsu. On this cold evening, it was exactly what we needed. These two huge bowls we passed around our table of six. The broth were divine! The pork belly was so delicate that it melts in your mouth. The beef falling off the bones were so tender and delicious. Sushi rolls: spider roll and the surf and turf. The spider roll with that soft shell crab was bomb. But the that A5 wagyu surf and turf was the star of the show. It comes out as raw slices on a roll and Chef Morimoto came out and torched it himself next to our table! I don't know if it tasted spectacular because it's wagyu or because the chef himself had torched it but this was my favorite! Overall, this was the most memorable dining experience I've had in a long time. I am sure that fangirling over the Iron Chef was the main reason but it seems that everything just fell into place for us that evening. Parking was literally next door in the garage, super easy no drama. Service was next level, maybe because the boss was there but we were not going to complain. And the food, impeccable! Pricepoint is just reasonable considering the quality, quantity and the location. It is definitely worth the trip coming here and I can't wait to visit again soon to see if everything will be the same without the Chef Morimoto around. I have a feeling it will be just as wonderful.
