The food is always amazing, and the owners are always so warm and welcoming. Best egg rolls in town! Highly recommend.

Terrible holiday service. Our server acts like she does not want to be here. It's been over an hour still no food on our table.

I tried this place for the first time with my family to celebrate one of my cousins graduation from…read moreresidency. We started off with a round of champagne and a bottle of red wine for dinner. We tried a variety of dishes since we were told that the set up is family style: Hamachi Crudo: 10/10 one of the best I've ever had! Super fresh and the sauce paired well with it. Bluefin Tune Crudo: 8/10 It was really fresh and well prepared, but I've had better elsewhere. I typically prefer bluefin tuna sashimi or nigiri anyway. Tuna Crispy Rice: 9/10 This was such a fun and delicious way to eat spicy tuna! All of the seasonings made it packed full of flavor. Tomahawk Ribeye 9/10: This was insanely tender, and well seasoned. Tip: ask for lemon wedges to sprinkle some lemon juice on it--thank me later. Broccolini 8/10: well prepared, and I loved the lemongrass garlic chili that topped it East Side Shrimp 7/10: These were well cooked and well seasoned. Loved the salad placed underneath it. Wagyu Tartare 8/10: It was well prepared and loved that it's paired with nori and rice. Wished it had a bit more punch to it in terms of seasoning. Crab Fried Rice 8/10: this was delicious but still say it's a solid 8. Beautifully prepared! Korean Hot Wings 2.5/10: I could tell that it was well cooked, but it was insanely salty; it was practically inedible. Hurricane Fries 9/10: These were so delicious! You are immediately hit with the smell of truffle, which made my mouth water. Packed with flavor! Brussels 7/10: These were well roasted, but the sauce was a tad too sweet for my liking. I highly recommend trying this place out!

Had a reservation for Sunday night at 7. Arrived early and they were able to seat us by the bar…read more The ambience is nice, upscale but nothing super fancy. By the bar we got to see some of the dishes being made. Great date night spot. Limited parking. This is a tapas spot and our serve did a good job recommending how many dishes to get. The only reason Noko is not getting 5 stars is because the server said that they would time out the dishes for us, so it was best to place our entire order all at once. However, we got 3 dishes and then it took about 30 minutes for other two to come out. Maybe we were eating too fast but felt like we were waiting a while for our food. The food itself was absolutely delicious. There was nothing we ordered that I did not like. Some favorites include the burnt ends lettuce wraps and Korean chicken wings. The Sando, shrimp and tuna crispy rice was also spectacular. The tuna was so flavorful and refreshing on the tuna crispy rice. The sauce of the east side shrimp really makes the dish. I'm not a huge shrimp person but this was really good. This is a must go to spot in Nashville and would definitely want to come back.

I was…read moresurprised by some of the unique options on the menu, namely, the fried chicken, which sometimes sells out. Fortunately, our friend made sure to reserve a dish for us when she made our reservation! I'm so glad she did, because I would have never thought to order a fried chicken at a Thai restaurant, but it was perfectly crispy, expertly done, especially considering it was gluten-free! I love pad Thai, so I was a bit disappointed that it was taken off the menu on the day that we went, but it seems like they rotate and change their specials pretty regularly. The service was great; it is a semi casual place, so it's quite comfortable and laid-back while the food experience is phenomenal! I will say it is a bit pricey for what you're getting and considering the fact that it is a more casual place, but nonetheless phenomenal for dinner service.

To make matters worse, the drink tasted like the milk had spoiled -- you could visibly see the issue in the drink, which was extremely off-putting. I also asked for a simple substitution of broccoli instead of the mixed vegetables, which should not have been difficult. Instead, I was told no because "it's just a scoop," which made no sense -- this was a basic request that could have easily been accommodated. On top of that, the service was incredibly rude. The woman helping me had a dismissive attitude and didn't seem interested in helping at all. Overall, not worth the $10 I spent for two below-average items and some of the worst service I've experienced. It's no surprise the place was empty. Save your money and go somewhere else. $5 for the smallest serving of vegetables I didn't ask for.

The restaurant and Asian grocery store are clean and well organized. The service is outstanding--the staff are friendly, welcoming, and provide some of the best customer service. The decision came down to Hai Woon Dai, which is close, and King Market. As I wanted a few things from the market, King won the day. I have heard great things about the food here and it did not disappoint. The red curry was one of the best I ahve had and I even asked what coconut milk they used so I could get a can to make some Thai food at home. I will get back and try some Laotian dishes next time. The atmosphere is like a restaurant in a store. Oh, wait, it is a restaurant in a store. But I wasn't here for the ambiance. I was here for the food. The benefit of being in a market is you can grab Asian items for home, including some fruits and vegetables you won't find at your local Kroger. I included the menu, so you can see how reasonable the prices are. I will also state the portions are good for the price. As for the market, there is a nice selection of items from Asia or used in Asian dishes. I also found some interesting snack items, including versions of lays potato chips I have never seen in a US based grocery. I usually hit K&S, so need to compare prices, as both of these are about equi-distant to where I lived right now (although 24 is more of a pain than 40 west). Kudos to a great experience.
