And when it comes to funding studies geared towards improving women's health, I feel there is a lack of effort there. Due to this, I believe a lot of doctors shy away from a promising medical procedure that has helped so many people with vaginal atrophy and pain during intercourse. Dr. Bellucci was definitely not your typical doctor. More like a laid back hippy who happens to do medicine. The atmosphere in the office was definitely informal. Was not what I was used to. But when Dr. Bellucci literally put his finger on where it hurt and said "It hurts here, doesn't it?" I knew whatever eccentricities he had, he was the real deal, and he really cares about women's health. I had a great experience and am looking forward to returning for my follow up appointments with the mona lisa touch procedure. After just one session I'm seeing improvement. I can't recommend Dr. Bellucci enough to anyone suffering from vaginal atrophy or pain during intercourse. It doesn't have to be that way. You can get help and get cured.

They sent her an email with my information, and told me to expect a response the next day. I never received a response. I called every day for a week asking for an update, and every day the answer was that she hasn't gotten around to her email yet. Eventually, I called another practice that scheduled me *on the spot* for an 8 week ultrasound the following week, and an 11 week in office visit with an award winning highly regarded doctor.

We ended up liking her so much that we never reverted! She has been great and listening and recommending care for our (more difficult than expected) pregnancy. The office had one snafu where they scheduled me for an appointment and then - without notifying me - cancelled the appointment (I guess one of the midwives needed unexpected knee surgery?), but I was really impressed at how the office rallied to get me the care I needed within 24 hours.
