After 8 hours on the road, arrived in Jasper a little late so most places were closed. We've always had good experience with the Full Moon in Dothan, but this one doesn't come close to that level. The Brunswick Stew and coleslaw were fine. Ribs were dry and kinda hard. Deviled Eggs were small but good. Got back to the hotel and no utensils. Call me old school but when did restaurants stop providing utensils for drive thru orders? Good thing the hotel was able to help us out. Typical Friday, not wanting too cook, so decided on an American favorite--BBQ of course! Another local bbq place has let us down so we decided to try here. I got a pork bbq potato, hubs got a pork bbq sandwich and son got the Buffalo chicken fingers with fries and macaroni and cheese. We can say our food was tasty, fresh, and filling to say the least. Although I am a die hard TN football fan, I did appreciate the interior of this business. Also, they have BEER! What else could make the bbq taste better??? My wife and I visited the Jasper Full Moon today. The person taking the order was friendly. We both ordered the BBQ rib plate. I had fries and coleslaw, my wife had fries also and she had the green fried tomatoes. We waited not very long and the server came out with our food. For the price of $35.00, I expected better quality of food. The fries and ribs were cold, so cold we decided to get a to-go container and take it home to be microwaved. As of now I won't be coming back anytime in the future. Sadly I won't be able to give a recommendation to eat at this establishment. read more

I have been here on several occasions as take out. One most trips to the drive thru they are not without difficulties. Today was an exception. We went through the drive thru on a Sunday and ordered a chicken barbecue sandwich and two cheese burgers. We waited nearly 10 minutes for our food, only to get home and discover the bbq chicken sandwich was soggy, falling apart, and the bun wasn't even all the way on the sandwich. The burgers were completely falling apart and drenched in mustard. The packing of the sandwich was even saturated with mustard. The baked beans we ordered were good. Cookies were dry and old. I took my receipt back and was given a full refund, but the manager never said a word to me, didn't apologize and didn't say they hoped I would return. They just handed my money back. Bad customer service. Will never, ever return. This was the third attempt at giving this particular Full Moon a chance, trying to support our local business. I would rather drive to Hatt Hill in Parrish, where the bbq is great, and they treat their customers well. read more

A few months ago I would have gave the Jasper location a lot higher rating but recently this location has went downhill big time. It started with the pork being very dry, like it had set out for a very long time and then microwaved at time of purchase. Then multiple times we would get back home with take out to only find that something was left out of our order. One time with the Oder of riblets that comes with fries, there was no fries with order. Another time with a pork plate one of the two sides were omitted. Last time I went was the day before Memorial Day and I tried to order the riblets again only to be told that they are out of ribs....on Memorial Day weekend. So I ordered a pork plate and went straight home which is less than 5 mins away. Pork had more fat than edible meat. Also the fried green tomatoes were very cold. That will be the last time I'll be buying from there for a long time, that is if they are still open at this rate. read more

Literally the RUDEST front of house staff I've ever met. Traveling from out of state and have never tried this establishment. Went to order a beer, and the manager looked SO annoyed because he apparently has to be the one to serve it. (Also didn't ask to see ID until AFTER I put it away after having it out and visible for five minutes) Asked questions about the menu and the cashier was annoyed as well and answered abruptly and rudely. We are officially done with the Jasper location. The food has always been subpar to the other locations we visit (Alabaster, Gardendale, Dothan, Hwy 280) but being there are so many restaurant choices here in Jasper (sarcasm), we tolerated it. It got really irritating when almost every Friday and Saturday night, groups fundraising would be 'serving'. These kids and parents were obviously never given any instruction by the staff on running food. Wrong orders coming to the table, fingers in food being brought out, lots of things that would make a health inspector cringe. I try to be supportive of local charities, so I bite my tongue. The kids that are supposed to be working are swinging from the rails at the registers and the parents and staff are oblivious (this was two weeks ago). Then it gets worse as these groups begin setting up outside the door with signs and buckets at each entrance. Well, we thought tonight is Thursday....no groups hounding for donations at Full Moon so let's go there. Guess what? Yet another group. We go in and get in line to order and stand there for at least three minutes waiting for the kid at the register to acknowledge us and take our order. No...he and several others are mesmerized by some painting or sketch one of fundraisers is showing off, blocking the food pass. We're done. If we want BBQ, we'll go to Jim N Nicks or Son's. read more

Yesterday was THE LAST TIME we will visit this restaurant. I have always loved their Greek salad with smoked chicken. The last few times my husband has picked up food to bring home, my order has been wrong. Sometimes I've called about it, sometimes I didn't. We live about an hour away so there's really nothing to be done at that point. We ate in yesterday. His fries were ice cold. He told the girl at the counter and she brought fresh fries. Great. But then I started to eat my salad and got a whiff of something unpleasant. The chicken was ruined! He took it back to the counter and told them. They asked what I wanted in place of it. I didn't want anything after that. They never said I'm sorry, never said anything about serving ruined (stinking) food. Nothing. The girl who had been at the counter (who we think was the Mgr) was out at a table with three other employees laughing and goofing off. No concern whatsoever. I had to go find her to even get a knife to cut my 88 year old mother in laws sandwich for her because it was sloppily made and falling apart. The whole thing was just a bad experience. They've lost us as customers. I hope the owners see this and take steps to correct what's happening at their business. read more
