I was in so much pain due to disc compression, scoliosis and an old neck whiplash. Since I have been treated, I feel 30 years younger, have no pain and now work out at a gym regularly. These Chiropractors are specialized in the ABC method of treatment that actually has repaired most of the damages along my spine (and I've seen the proof on before and after x-rays). I've been seeing Dr. Wong for two months now. His approach to chiropractic adjustments is very different than the chiropractors I've seen in the past. He seems to have a much better understanding of where I need adjustments and he does them in a much more gentle, specific, and effective way. Ended up stopping my treatments because they would interfere with my work hours and feel better today just from being more active and exercising. I should have written this review years ago. About 5 years ago I used to experience extreme sciatica nerve pain. I was only 22 years old and there were some days the pain was so excruciating I could barely even walk. Dr. Wong PROMISED me that after the first session I would feel 50% less pain. any chiropractor or doctor for that matter who promises you anything like that is already a huge red flag period of course after the first session I was still in excruciating pain.. if anything it felt worse. SECONDLY, he took my x-rays and basically tried to convince me that without spending thousands of dollars on treatment that I would end up like the hunchback of Notre Dame because my spine was so "damaged". I have since gotten second opinions and nobody else seems to agree. He tries to scare people into spending all of their money. DO NOT COME HERE. read more

I think dilemma is simple: there are talented people who can't earn enough money to keep their talent saving lives and there are talents like Dr.Wong who can it all! Yes, he is expensive, but he needs this money and he does miracles. Dr.Wong is one of the very few chiropractors in US that keep the pace up with newest science. He is not stuck, he is improving, his knowledge is deeply developed up to the level of sixth sense in chiropractic. He is highly professient, patient and has the biggest heart. I am second year with him, treatment is not a breeze. I came when I suddenly felt that could not move (as we saw in x-ray due to multiple problems that were escalating many years in my spine). Multiple problems. I had lower back issues, pain for a few years already. My posture was big S. At certain point it started to crush. My luck was: it happened on a parking lot near his office, I literally could make only a few steps from my car to his doors. First few months of treatment were very intensive, few relapses. He was rebuilding my spine like a tower: vertibra by vertibra. I know if not him I would go thru injections, pain, surgery/s this past year and half and still not fixed.. But guess what I feel so young in my spine this last year+ like I didn't feel for a long time. I have the "before and after x-ray" where you can see with your own eyes the phenomenal change (from a year or less ago already, it was just beginning then)... Your few choices are: 1.conventional medicine that only patches it up, pain and lots of money, 2.trivial chiropractor for a temporary relief or 3. Thoroughly planned treatment over time with this doctor depending on the complexity of your problem. Believe or not I'd choose him again over and over if I could. Trust him, be patient, follow his daily life recommendations and you'll be one of many who got healed without any surgical intervention. There are no quick/easy solutions for your spine. The office experience was amazing. After committing with getting the first x ray I was able to see what was wrong with my spine. I have gone to so many different chiropractors but never seem to figure out or understand the problem. I didn't move on with the treatment package but I am very thankful I did continue with the treatment. I followed all the recommendations I should do to help with the treatment and it definitely helped a lot. My posture was straight longer than going to a regular chiropractor. I can agree it is a different style of treatment and I lived it. Right away I felt the differences. It is a full body treatment and also focusing on in the affected area. I went about 2-3 months until I had to move to San Diego. I wish they had a Dr here in San Diego with the same practice. I was good after all my treatments until I started gaining more weight with my pregnancy. I truly recommend this treatment. Give it a try for a few months and you will see the difference your every body is different and it's super important of you follow the recommendation's right away starting with the pillow and the wedge. I have suffered from back pain on and off all my life, but things took a turn for the worse this past year and it led to torn hamstring and glut muscles. This was the second time in 3 years that I have a muscle tear. After multiple MRIs, multiple visits to Stanford, simplistic treatment recommendations (i.e. hot packs), I was in a lot of pain, losing mobility and seeing no improvement. My acupuncturist and massage therapist said she is giving up because she doesn't think it's my muscle but rather that it comes from spine dislocations. She counted 12. She told me I need to go to a chiropractor. I have never been to one and I was really anxious. After reviewing several options, I chose Full Motion Chiropractic because they had pricing in line with everyone else I called but additionally they were wiling to help with submission to my insurance. I am a scientist by training and I really appreciated the very thoughtful, well-documented and clear communication I had with Dr. Wong. What he said made great sense and also, I understood that it takes months to build strength and correct the body. There are no miracles in medicine...it takes time to rectify years of bad posture and trauma. I admit that I was very weary of signing up for a 50 visit pack. So before signing up I decided to go in for 5 visits and see if I can tell that my body is responding. I was so shocked to realize that the nerve transduction into my legs was impaired. And even more shocked to see how after Dr. Wong would adjust me, I could feel my legs so much stronger. I went to Full Motion Chiropractic in mid-late November 2020 not being able to walk properly, I couldn't sit down because of pain, which made it hard to focus and work, and by December 27 2020, with 3x a week visits (~15 visits) I was well enough to go skiing over 100k vertical feet. I still had a dull back pain and not full range of motion, but so much better. I continued with treatment and today, March 2020, I am pain free for 90% of the time. 4 additional points worth mentioning: 1. It is very sad that after 3 years of muscle tears and visits to Stanford and MRIs, there was no understanding as to what is causing these tears and why I would have them. Dr. Wong quickly realized that my muscles are compensating for the terrible back dislocations that I was suffering from. So I am finally fixing the Cause of my muscle tears, rather than applying hot patches and waiting for the tears to heal only to do it again 2 years later. 2. I did NOT go into Dr. Wong's office to treat my asthma/difficulties breathing and again, I was shocked to realize (after 15-20 sessions) that my breathing is improving substantially after I am adjusted. Remarkably so, I would add. When my asthma spray stopped helping, my asthma doctor. thought it's because of my deviated septum. I had a surgery to fix that. To my great disappointment that did not help. It turns out that spinal dislocations can affect the breathing muscles and in the process of fixing my spine to alleviate the glut and hamstring problem, I discovered that my breathing is so much better. 3. Dr. Wong also taught me a great deal about sleeping and sitting in the correct position. We also spent quite a bit of time to learn about my shoes and how different insoles distort the mechanics of the body. I am now so much more aware of how my feet and my breathing should feel like when I purchase shoes and I see a change in the comfort my body shows when walking. 4. Lastly, Dr. Wong and his assistant, Patti, are phenomenal people. Extremely helpful and thoughtful. Excellent bedside manner. Including help with insurance. I have learnt so much about my body, and how to take care of myself in general. I am also sharing with my friends and relatives the knowledge and everyone is reporting very good improvements. I can't thank Full Motion Chiropractic enough for giving back my health, relieving me of pain, and teaching me how to best care for myself to sustain the terrific improvements I have experienced. read more

Dr. Wong has been treating my husband for years. When my husband first came to the practice he was in a level 7 out of 10 arthritis like pain everyday and it was affecting how he lived his daily life. Dr. Wong changed all of that. He was able to adjust my husband so that his pain virtually disappeared. Not only did the arthritis like pain leave, but pain that he'd dealt with in his feet since his early 20's diminished as well. I used to feel pretty healthy overall. I don't get sick, I don't have emotional problems, all good. Well, tired sometimes. Can't sit at computer for too long. My neck hurts sometimes. But isn't it normal? Then one day I went to Dr Wong. A month of intensive care later: - I don't have pains in my neck - my lower back is fine even during period - people comment that I lost 15 lb (actually I lost only 4 so far, by doing Keto, but as I can stand straight I look skinnier) - it's easy to get comfortable in bed - I sleep better (not that I slept bad before, but the quality of sleep is different) - I can work (at computer) for a few hours straight and my shoulders and my back aren't killing me anymore - I'm able to drive all the way from LA to San Francisco with two tiny stops only (15 min total) without getting physically tired - and so on. I was 26 years old when went to see Dr. Wong after suffering from chest pain near my sternum and experiencing an onset of heart palpitations. I knew something was up because my muscles felt fine but I was having pain in my pectoral area that wouldn't go away and seemed to accompany more frequent heart skips and jumps. I have to admit I was scared something was wrong with my ticker. Luckily my fiancé is a student at Chiropractic college and had recommendations from her professors to go see Dr. Wong. First I sent my 65-year old father there for his severe back pain and immobility resulting from injury and surgery. He is virtually 100% healed in less than a year. Now he moves around like he never had back or ankle surgery. As for myself I have been seeing Dr. Wong for less than half a year and after only one month I had no more pain and my heart palpitations were GONE. It was such a relief. Dr. Wong's care is expensive and that is not a secret, but he has a great staff with Patti up front handling the check-in and phone calls/follow ups, she is so friendly and we have definitely built a great relationship which is very comforting, it makes every visit a real joy. In fact, part of going in to see Dr. Wong is getting to talk with Patti, they have cultivated a very friendly patient environment. Dr. Wong himself is a very interesting and knowledgable fellow. He is the kind of guy that you could spend an entire evening talking with over drinks if you had the chance and his range of interest and expertise goes far beyond chiropractic. He's a bit of a renaissance man. The chiropractic adjustments are different from what many people may have experienced. Wong uses a technique that other chiropractors may be hesitant to dive into. In short, it is a combination of anterior adjustments and side-bending spine stretches, among other things, all centered around the fundamentals of measurement and documentation. Dr. Wong is not shooting from the hip or taking educated guesses, the technique is precisely applied. The spine stretches are deep, almost intimidating, but quite magical and unlike anything I've ever experienced. Plus, there are noticeable body changes that can be documented objectively after his sessions, namely body stability and balance, posture, and an amazing ease in breathing which feels very therapeutic. Subjective changes exist as well, such as immediate heightened awareness, like being sobered up instantly, and obviously pain reduction, which only the recipient can feel. One gets the sense that in addition to solving specific problems in the spine, Dr. Wong is initiating a holistic bio-structural correction process that affects the whole body. Now, you can't make everyone happy all the time and I'm sure that is the case with Full Motion, just like any clinic, but from my perspective, sitting here pain-free and worry-free, Dr. Wong is worth the price of admission. read more

Dr.Wong Is a nice guy but his chiropractic care is too expensive. I found a promotion online to get X-Rays and I thought it would be a good Idea to see what he has to say. I do have one disk in my back slightly deteriorating, and I was in pain. Our first visit was what I'd call troubleshooting, findings of the problem and looking for a solution. All he told me before I left was "they're may still be hope". After playing Rugby and working in construction since I was 15 I naturally thought " maybe something is wrong with my body "? We finally get around to our second visit and it's just a sales pitch. According to him I need 7k work of chiropractic work to fell better. He then offered me financing if I couldn't pay 7K all at once. I respectfully told Dr.Wong That I couldn't afford 7K and didn't want to financially commit to his care, after he asked me how much money I had left after my bills were payed and refused to let me pay per visit. I hate to bad mouth anyone but it's all a scam and he probably takes advantage of Belmont's upper class community and reals them in like fish on the line. I have friends from the Rugby community who play and study chiropractic at lifewest chiropractic college in Hayward. I'm aware that I could use chiropractic care on a regular basis but this guy is just in it for the money. He's had to relocate from Redwood City and change his name after to many complaints I found out with a bit of research. I've had Chiropractic care since 1987 and have seen many DC's in my time. I was having severe issues on my left arm and shoulder while I was enjoying my favorite sport - surfing. I recently was diagnosed with a bone spur in my C4 - C5 causing pain and numbness down my left shoulder. I was seeing a spine specialist that had no issues shooting me up with steroidal shots in my muscles and epidural area to reduce the inflammation. After a year or so of this type of treatment and no consistent resolve, I went back to Chiropractic care. My symptoms were recurring and limiting my active lifestyle. I've been seeing Dr. Wong and Dr. Johnny since mid-2014 and I'm back surfing 3-4 times a week with no issues down my left arm. I can sleep through the nights without cramping or spasms on my left arm. Between the therapy and exercises issued in their workshops, I'm back to all my activities. A plus that most of my previous Chiropractors didn't have was an X-Ray service and someone qualified to read the images. I've seen my initial X-Rays and images taken after the corrective care to show the improvements gained with their therapy/services. I've also had my son come into the office and diagnose issues with his wrist, as he is a college pitcher and was looking for diagnosis and therapy for an injury.
